We also have the tallest building in Latin America. Due to covid-19 is not possible to travel to Chile, but once it's over come and visit our beautiful city and country.

@Aringinator Before I left Venezuela jus had gone to Colombia an Argentina, then when i moved to Ireland (currently living here) i could travel around few countries in Europe due its quite cheap travelling in Europe, also Morocco, however, on 2017 i went to Chile, after 2 years in Europe and Damn, may be a 3rd world place but the oxygen you breath and the vibe is completely mindblowing being back in South America, it's simplily amazing!
Chile was my first foreign country! Great place, great food, and it definitely has a tendency to . . .shake things up a bit. (I went 3 months after the great earthquake of 2010)

If you visit Santiago Centro now, it's a whole different story Unfortunately. If you ever return here, go to San Pedro the Atacama, to Atacama desert, to some southern cities like Puerto Montt, definitely visit Chiloé. Seems you've already been to Valparaiso and Patagonia, so the only place left I would advise is Rapa Nui. There are so many beautiful places in Chile! Try to stay away from the biggest cities and go for the nature spots.
As a Chilean, while Chile is in fact one of the best places in South America... You're making it sound waaaay better than it actually is, especially Santiago...

I’ve been to so many countries including London, For me, however, Chile is the most beautiful country with dramatic mountains and landscapes that I’ve ever had the privilege to spend a lot of time exploring. Just recently left there VERY GREAT FOR VACATION!!! Can’t stress this enough lol 😂
@@steffan683 Mine wasn’t even a planned vacation. I just just made profits from an investments and decided to take myself out, toured around Puerto Rico, went to sightsee Easter island... and other sightseeing.

Uruguay has the most stable economy in latam and unlike neoliberal chile where its all about macroeconomics and privatization, it has a strong social welfare system where wealth is better distributed.

Wow, I stood at the very same spot you were standing at the beginning of this video in May 2018, Santa Maria station is just across the road as was my airbnb accommodation, there is also a fab little market over there, I hope you checked it out. Going to Santiago was an immensely enjoyable trip for me, it enabled me to finally meet a long term Facebook friend for the first time and we went to see Erasure together at the Movistar arena. You've got me wanting to go back now.

That’s really interesting to hear, we were planning to go to Buenos Aires (flights were cancelled due to pandemic but we’ll still go eventually) good to know in advance about all the hustling and scams in Latin America.
In my opinion, Panama City is the best city in Latin America, because Casco Viejo and the modern part are both very nice, there also aren't to many beggars especially in the modern part. Uber (better then taxis) are super cheap. And the food is a nice mix of Chinese, Italian, and Panamanian Cuisine which I like.
