Many places are giving away free eclipse "glasses". Check your library, urgent care place, CVS, Walgreens, Warby Parker... Google around & call first. Also, any you got for the 2017 eclipse have probably expired as the coating dries & flakes or whatever

the witch whose true form is that of a swamp Creature aka "Dr" Dray will tell you to avoid using Tea Tree Oil (without mentioning that high levels of terpinen-4-ol 36% is how you can avoid it being irritating) and who will in that same breath (of which im sure smells like sulfur) tell you to stay out of the sun and put on sunscreen made in a lab is in reality pushing an agenda.. These pro dray anti sun comments are part of the same media group that use her and are just npcs/bots..

I have the same omnilux mask 😊 I have light rosacea, very sensitive skin. I have had a few laser sessions which improved my redness and skin sensivity. As my redness was under control I started low-dose tretinoin a couple of years ago. I rarely get red now but when I do, the omnilux mask calms down redness like nothing else.
So you use the omnilux with tretinoin?

@@aurora8183For the first uses, I stopped using tretinoin a few days as it was indicated in the instructions that it was not advised. Then I saw some youtubers who use the mask with tretinoin and have no problems (hotandflashy). I reincorporated tretinoin with no problems at all. I wash my face, use the mask on bare skin, then apply tretinoin + moisturizer.

@@aurora8183 Not at all. Omnilux tells you to avoid tretinoin because apparently there is a possible increase in skin sensitivity. I use the omnilux on bare face after double cleanse, then tretinoin + moisturizer and I have no issues. Quite the opposite, I feel it calms down my skin so I tolerate tretinoin a bit better.
Hi Andrea! I love my Omnilux! I have noticed a positive difference in my skin since using it regularly. I use mine at night because I have more time then. I use the volcanic lemon juice for a homemade lemon vinaigrette. Just mix with olive oil and Dijon mustard. So good!

The Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Cream is my daily go to face moisturizer (I use a richer night face cream). I liked the texture better of the former formula, but with my dry and sensitive skin, this water cream truly hydrates my face just right. It's just a little slippery getting it out of the jar. I mean I used to use the Neutrogena hydro boost night concentrate cream . I don't know what's the new formula called and I have the sample of the sleeping mask too but I haven't tried the sleeping mask yet .

Happy Saturday! Lemon drop reminds me of the little fruit candies in the metal tins my Granny always had with her when we were out and about. I would love to find the exact brand if they’re still available. The simple joys of nostalgia.
A company called Claes makes old fashioned lemon 🍋 drop candies. Sold by the bag tho but I super love them. I think I got them near the register at TJMx or Marshall’s but the “Amazonian” sells them.

I agree with you Dr. Dray. I love shampooing my hair! I don't feel like my shower is complete unless I do. Besides, I also have an oily scalp and am prone to dandruff, so shampooing is a must everyday for me.

Oh I'm so excited, I've been waiting for this video! So hey Dr Dre and everyone and I was on pins and needles yesterday trying to see if our USC Women's Basketball team would make the final four and yes they are there, they have not lost one game yet since the beginning of the basketball season. Tomorrow will be the final day and we'll know if they will yet be champions again. So proud of those girls and their coach! Just had to put my two cents here.😊🙌

Happy Saturday! It's funny that you started off the video with the OMNILUX mask, as I'm expecting mine this upcoming Thursday--I cannot wait to start using it! I read somewhere that you can use the face mask on your neck and hands, as well, instead of buying another device for those areas. On a different note, I LOVE the Meyers cleaning sprays--I'm currently using Lemon Verbena and I highly recommend you try it, given your affinity toward all things lemons.🙂 I'm actually heading out to my local Marshalls today to buy an egg slicer--wish me luck!

I'm obsessed with my red light mask (omnilux for travel) and panel (mito for home). It has improved my rosacea-prone (types 1 and 3) skin, I find it essential.
Careful with the Mrs. Meyers counter spray. It’s my fave and I use it daily, but it DOES have Methylisothiazolinone in it, so I wear my dish gloves and use a separate cloth to wipe counters off, then put that cloth right in wash. :)

I bought the currentbody LED mask and the one thing I have noticed is my PIH goes away quicker. Spots that would stick around for almost a year go away in a couple months, sometimes even weeks. It's taking a while to fade the old spots I have though

Better try to use tabletop panel, the irradiance is more than 140 at 6 inches,and it does make a huge difference, I had Omnilux men mask and compare to BlockBlueLight panel ,panel is the winner,the results are insane ❤

I love the placements!
Some reasons why I love mine like this are (1) they're rigid & sturdy so you can carry them like a tray from table to sink or trash (2) they're built in heat & drip protection if you use a wooden dining table or for buffet baking dishes etc (3) they're so easy to just wipe clean

Love the colorful, halter top dress on you! I also have been using the Costco Italian Volcano organic lemon juice for years. I too tell everyone I can about it. BTW I'm unable to use the Trader Joe's sunscreen as it stung & burned my eyes like crazy, and the scent gave me a headache. This being a total bummer because it is sooooo afordable.😢

Can you review red light therapy panels vs masks?
Dr dray, this company, omnilux warns that we should not use this mask if we are using tretinoin. Can you touch on this, its why i personally didnt get it. Is there a real risk?
Dr dray uses tret and all the others I’ve seen using it use tret (myself included). I just don’t put it on OVER my tretinoin. I think j you’re supposed to use it on bare skin.
I tried the Neutrogena Cream and ever since, my face has been really dry. I put my tretinoin on first and let that sit for a while then I put the Neutrogena on. Do you think it’s the hyaluronic acid that’s drying me out?

I wanted to purchase the omnilux mask but after reading some people complaining about brown spots appearing after using a while, it was a NO for me. Hope these companies figure out why & fix that issue. Would be great if Dr. Dray can look into this and address.
I’ve been using the Haru Haru airyfit sunscreen on my face. Loving it! How much is recommended to use for the face to get the full spf 50?
I saw omnilux says they don't recommend the mask for tretinoin users unless doctor states otherwise. What are your thoughts?
While the risk is low (between 5-10% chance), a reaction can occur. We always want to be transparent about this, as retinol and tretinoin can cause light sensitization. Everyone’s skin is different though, and we encourage you (and everyone) to discuss with their derm who will know your skin best before proceeding to use retinoids in conjunction with our LED devices. Hope this helps!

I learned about phytophotodermatitis 10 years ago after I spilled lemon juice on my leg. I was squeezing it into my beer on a vacation in Mexico, under Mexican sun! My skin was literally burnt.. I thought I touched some poisoned plant or something … It was so bad and scarred 0:06 my leg for long time, my dermatologist prescribed hydroquinone to help fade the scar. It looks much better now. So you guys, please be very 0:06 careful and listen to Dr. Dray!
Dr Dray I gotta be honest, i read a study in a cancer mouse model and red light increased tumour size. I was planning on buying on of those masks and now I am thinking twice about it.

Some red lights are a no no for certain types of Cancer.
I stopped using my Omnilux chest, face mask because I got one Dot of hyperpigmentation on my face and a red dot on my eye lid and 2 red dots on my chest. I’ve Never had any of these skin issues before and they only developed after using my led light mask. The hyperpigmentation and red dots require laser treatment to fix fyi.
Can you share your skin tone? I’ve been worried about this
Hyperpigmentation can be diminished with active ingredients too,not just laser treatments.
@@faithbeaudry8509I have typical Mediterranean olive medium skin tone with cool undertones. My skin can get pale olive and tans very easily. But like I said I’ve never had any of these issues before using my Omnilux mask 😔
@@Vegan_Vlogsyes I know but I’m currently already getting laser done so I will just have them hit those spots as well as the blood spots do require laser. I’ve also used Azeliac acid but it hasn’t helped much, at least with laser it will fade quickly
Can you maybe do a video going through the evidence for the different wavelengths, most masks use 633 and 830. But many panels additionally also use 660 and 850nm, and for example Irestore hair mask used 655nm.

Ok so I have the same mask. Can you PLS talk about RED LIGHT MASK and menopause? This mask gave me MELASMA BIG TIME and now I have brown patches on my cheeks and can’t get rid of them. I highly do not recommend it. Can you pls respond or talk about this Dr Dray. Please!!!
red light does not cause melasma, and in some cases can be helpful for melasma
Exact same thing happened to me. I saw a youtube video by a derm and he said that infra red can cause melasma for some. Also post menopause. Do you use hrt? Wondered if the estrogen could be the cause.
In addition to Dr. Dray, check out Angie of Hot and Flashy. She reviews this mask, has been using it consistently for years and is older. I’m sure with anything, everyone is different. Another woman on TH-cam Melissa55 uses it as well. Both women are on prescription tretinoin. I wonder if that has something to do with it? Angie is on HRT as well.

I have been following our beloved Dr. Dray, Angie, and Cassandra Bankston since their TH-cam newbie days, and they are my go-to and only source for skincare advice and tips. It is interesting that Omnilux warns Tretinoin users to avoid the mask, and yet Angie's skin is glowingly healthy after using Tretinoin for many years and Omnilux for several years. I plan to ask the Omnilux folks what exactly the issue is, now that I'm convinced this should move higher up on my Add to Cart wish list. Maybe Dr. Dray could do a video addressing the whys of each particular skin issue that people are cautioned about with regard to red light mask usage, so we can better understand it. 😊

I didn't like the Omnilux because it pressed against the bridge of my nose and was really uncomfortable to wear. I got an LED panel from Shenzhen Idea Light Limited instead.
