I recently spent 5 hours outside in 90 degree weather and from all my friend i didn't end up red even when i didn't reapply since i forgot my sunscreen at home. I would still recommend to reapply at least once before living your house, work or school.
There's some evidence showing SPF 60 to 100 doesn't exactly have an extraordinary amount of sun protection compared to SPF 50, but it still does show it can offer some level of extra SPF protection. So, for avid makeup wearers who really don't feel comfortable reapplying, much like you said, get a good layer of it on before applying makeup and it should still offer a considerable amount of UV protection as the day goes on
I’m from a tropical country and my skin type is super super oily - I usually use the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence because it’s so lightweight (note that there is ethanol and fragrance like the spray in the video) and then before I put on makeup I layer with the Sana Namerakahonpo UV Makeup Base (helps to tone up my skin, gives slightly grippy base for foundation, AND has SPF 40)

Fellow Floridian here. I also have fairly sensitive/reactive skin, am cruelty free, and kind of a hippie regarding “weird chemicals.” Sun Bum Mineral Tinted SPF 30 is *the one.* I’ll set and/or reapply with Colorescience Brush-On SPF 50.
Combo skin - leaning to oily skin Climate - hot and humid (Malaysia) Currently, I'm loving the Pyunkang Yul Kids & Baby Sun Cream. I purchased the 150ml bottle (pump bottle). 2 full pumps are enough for face and neck. I'm loving it so far! I can skip my moisturiser because it is so moisturising.
Pacifica has a setting spray that’s 45 SPF and I use it every couple of hours, I’m in my 50’s and sunscreen is imperative for my aging skin. The setting spray works well over Dior, Chanel and Sisley foundation. My skin does start to look dewy but not greasy however blotting gently quickly corrects that for me.
Yes realistic expectations!! 'if you want perfectly flawless makeup but also want to be able to apply a really good even protection of sunscreen, give up now' AHAHA. Thank you for making this very informative video though! My holy grail sunscreen is the popular Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel and I have very dry and dehydrated skin with malar rash.
The haru haru black rice sunscreen! It's broad spectrum, SPF 50 and the consistency is a little thicker but it leaves the most beautiful velvety matte finish and has never pilled with my makeup! It's made for combination skin so a water/oil based foundation can work well with it
Tina, thanks for this video. As a gravel cyclist, I’m always looking for portable sunscreens that I can chuck into my bike bag. You’ve given me a new idea about those sunscreen sprays 💡
for some reason I've never found the kose convincing but seeing you measure it out and spray it so liberally has me interested 😂 hope the filming wasnt too rough on your voice
My favorite sunscreen right now is the rohto sunplay sunblock clear water. It’s a very fluidy milky texture with slight blue shimmer in it. Super pretty under makeup and on its own. Dries natural to matte but doesn’t take off any shine you may already have from previous skincare. Feels comfortable and light and perfect for reapplication. I live in a super hot dry climate with summers getting over 110 F
My sunscreen recommendations - I’m in my mid 30s, have EDS, have normal skin with no breakouts (mostly barrier repair issues). I’m usually between Fiji and Punjab in NARS foundation or 25 in most Korean foundations. These don’t leave white casts! I live in Sacramento now so my favorites have changed (used to live in New England). Haru Haru wonder yellow tube I’ve been through 2 already!! No white cast, natural finish, not drying. Skin 1004 hyalucica- gave a bottle to my friend who has the most sensitive pale skin and she enjoys it as well. Also beauty of joseon is popular with the handful of people I know with EDS and autoimmune issues. When it’s super hot out and I’m prone to sweat the Hadalabo light blue spf 50+ PA++++ is matte enough for the rare times Im on the verge of oily. Honorable mentions are Mary and May cica soothing and 9 wishes pine, but would rather rebuy the skin 1004 and Haru Haru over again 😂 I had other more glowy richer sunscreens I swore by in winter (Frudia blue cap is top) but is way too glowy for my skin now.
skin type: combination climate: north america - dry in winter, humid in summer holy grail sunscreen: ROUND LAB Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen spf 50+
I have oily mature skin and keep going back to the biore aqua essence and the nivea sun gel. I love how they don't pill or leave a white cast and easily blend into your skin. Thanks for the tips, Tina! Reapplying sunscreen is something I know I should probably be doing but still have to develop the habit.
I love the Curel Intensive Moisture Care UV protection essence. And recently, I've tried the D'Alba Waterfull UV essence sun cream and I am loving it so far. I am from the Philippines with hot and humid weather, but I do have dry skin so both sunscreen works for me.
Can confirm, as someone with oily skin living in a cool temperate oceanic climate, the boj sun stick is my go-to for reapplication in the summer ❤ (The Skin Aqua Essence spf50 was my HG but it was recently reformulated and I haven't tried the new version yet)
Nivea UV Super Water Gel has been my hg sunscreen for five years!! My skin used to be super oily and now it’s combo/dry but it still works great for me in the dry winters and humid summers where I live. The Biore UV Perfect Milk is also amazing 😁
Great and helpful video as always dear❤ Due to a disease I have very dry skin and since it is pale too I have to be careful in summer. What I do to make sure that my skin is well protected all day long is to use a bb cream with SPF 50 over my sunscreen. Of course that doesn't replace reapplying it. One I really love that doesn't move too much when touching it and also hydrates my skin is the Mizon Snail Repair Intensive BB Cream. It's kinda sweat proof too.
I have acne prone combo skin in a pretty extreme climate, very hot, very cold, so I really recommend Kose suncut uv perfect essence. It's 120g for about $11 on stylevana and it's very lightweight and waterproof. It doesn't feel too thick when I reapply and it leaves a nice glowy feel, unlike the biore one which is very glossy
Was dry combi and now oily combi and this sunscreen still remains my Holy grail! The goodal heartleaf calming moisture sun cream. I live in Singapore and it’s HOT and HUMID all day and year round and this is ❤❤❤
I like to reapply with an SPF stick or spray and then use and SPF powder to re-set the makeup after. Many people think it is excessive, but I'll take all the tiny layers I can get on top of that original base layer.
thank you so much for this timely video! was just thinking about getting a sunstick or mist for reapplication but was worried about how to actually use it. also your makeup is so beautiful!!
I find that the BOJ sunstick does a pretty good job at leaving my makeup alone when I reapply, but it's pretty mattifying, which I think is a positive but I know not everyone likes a matte look
This was so helpful! I’m in Canada and have normal skin 😅. I currently use the supergoop sunscreen because it doesn’t leave a white cast (a big concern for us black girls). So, I’m totally open to any Korean sunscreen suggestions!
I don’t wear makeup on the daily so I just reapply my normal morning sunscreen before I leave the office for lunch. I am stressing about how I’m going to reapply my sunscreen over my makeup for my summer wedding in January (I live in the southern hemisphere) I’m leaning towards using a spray, and luckily my sister in law has offered to be my makeup artist so she will be available throughout to touch up my makeup. Fingers crossed this works 😅
Skin type : Normal-oily in summer, Normal-dry in winter Place : India (i live in a very hot and humid state! 😢) Sunscreen of choice : Biore aqua uv essence ❤
I have dry skin and live in a super humid place. I use the Anessa sunscreen. It's expensive but I don't wear foundation and Anessa milk dries like a foundation for me. Perfect!
4:33 Hi Tina! I have sensitive combination skin that gets dry around my mouth and forehead. I live in Eastern Europe with a humid continental climate. I've been using the So Natural UV Pro Water Sun Serum everyday for about 3 weeks now. It's amazing! Super hydrating and leaves my skin dewy and glowing! Not to mention it is SPF50+ so I'm well protected.
i live in a warmer climate (that still has seasons) and my fav sunscreen is the beauty of joseon!! my skin is also very dry and sensitive and the texture and everything is perfect for me. plus i have medium to dark skin and there's no white cast for me hehe. my mom has a problem with her eyes watering after applying sunscreen but this one doesnt do that!! def recommend :)
As someone who is combo, acne prone and sensitive skin, I tend to lean towards lightweight sunscreens with ingredients that help calm my acne. I use the numbuzin clear filter sun essence. It is very lightweight and it has heartleaf and cica (centella asiatica) to help calm my acne.
I have dry sensitive skin and can only wear mineral sunscreens. I also live in the southwest US which is hot and dry. My favorite sunscreens are Prequel and Vanicream 30spf. I usually reapply with a power spf but I'm excited to try stick spf now.
I live in a temperate environment (South Sweden) and my skintype is combination, (oily in t-zone, dry chin and neck, normal on cheeks), acne prone and sensitive (eksema prone). My favourite Sunscreen is the skin1004 hylau cica water fit sun serum spf50. It leaves my skin looking really glowy right after application bur becomes more dewey after a while. I just love that its a pump and leaves no whitecast and I personally love the dewyness. It also doesn't sting me when I do get eksema flare-ups which is great 😊
Avene has a compact sunscreen that is tinted and so when you reapply it’s like putting on a new foundation. It only comes in two shades which might be disadvantageous for some
Combination, sensitive and eczema-prone and acne-prone skin type and based in London (no idea what the climate is like it keeps changing during summer). B_Lab Matcha Hydrating Sunscreen and Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun are godsends overall. And the Beauty of Joseon sun stick is amazing for mattifying and moisturising at the same time
Honestly, as an ambivert person, sometimes I'm hesitant to reapply sunscreen in public😅. I felt anxious about not reapplying despite being outside for more than 3 hours. I do wear light make up every time I go to school or malls. That's why I make sure to put an ample amount of spf for my base. It turns out that I've been realistic about that 2-3hours Reapplication Rule 😂! Really grateful for all your contents, Tina!! They became my staple every time I wanted to delve into skincare!!🥰
skin type: combo in winter, oily in summer climate: in the pnw in the us, so very dry in the winter and slightly dry/humid in the summertime sunscreen: biore uv aqua rich watery essence has been my go-to for years but the p.calm sunscreen is growing on me definitely!
I am 49yo and my skin is sensitive and dry. I live in Germany and Im using the EltaMD uv daily mineral sunscreen (not tinted). I am also using the haruharu black rice mineral and the SkinCeuticals mineral radiance sunscreen. Those three are my top ones as my skin loves zinc. ❤
Skin type: Dehydrated but oily Climate: Hot and humid (Malaysia) Sunscreen: Cosrx Aloe Soothing Suncream SPF50 It's the only sunscreen that doesn't suck the moisture out of my skin or make my eyes water. I skip the moisturiser because it's already quite moisturising.
For the past 2 years I've been really loving Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun+. I have mixed skin type with oily t-zone and dry cheeks. I've used it in all climates and it has never failed me
I live in Singapore. I have dry skin. I have been using the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid sun gel. Sometimes, I even skip moisturizer bcos it's moisturizing enough & leaves no whitecast.
I live in a humid place in my country in india and my skin type is combo, acne prone and with your recommendation i am using the numbuzin no 1 sunscreen like the green one and it is soo good ❤
Skin type: oily Climate: hot & humid - tropical country Holy grail: muji sunscreen gel (for indoor) and kanebo global skin protector (outdoor) Reapply: kose suncut
I am very much combo skin, some days leaning more oily or dry; and my holy grail has to be the skin1004 centella sun serum! Because it works on my oily and my dry days, unlike my boj tends to be a bit too moisturizing if I’m leaning more oily. I do live in California, but I have worn it in other places with super humid weather as well!
I live in Brighton/UK which can be quite sunny and hot and humid summertime. My skin is combo, but I don’t wear makeup on the daily basis, and I have rosacea so I use sunscreen with green tint. My faves are SkinAqua and Kose Suncut. By the way I never go under SPF50 with sunscreens.
A big tip before using the sunscreen stick is to remove any extra oil you have either with blotting paper or a oil absorbing roller. Remove as much as you can before going in with the suncreen for less disruption of your makeup.
I live in Europe /climate temperate transitional (we have 4 seasons) and I usually use La Roche Posay & Eucerine-the oil control fluids for my oily, acne-prone skin, especially now in the summer. In other seasons, I also wear korean ones, I loved the Round Lab, Beauty of Joseon, Isntree and Missha.
My personal way of reapplying is using a beauty blender after I put the lotion on my face and gently pat in. I touch up where I think the make up moved on.
I like using "sunscreen" powders as my setting powder for those super dewy sunscreens or like how you did with the spray sunscreens! I don't use them on their own but I like to pretend using them to set my sunscreen helps somehow, like as if it's marginally better than a non spf powder lol
i use the skin 1004 sunscreen serum :) my skin is acne-prone sometimes oily and always dehydrated in warmer climate. i live in a cold european country but right now its quite warm here
Howl's Moving Castle!!!! :) (Also, thank you so very much for the tips. As someone who burns looking out a window, reapplying frequently is a part of life and making it easier is a big help!)
Also, humid climate, combo skin (oily t zone, bone dry on cheeks), SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum. I've tried so many, and this one works well, applies well, and is one of the few that doesn't sting my eyes.
I have few holy grails: Round Lab birch juice, anua and skin1004. Climate: hot and humid summer, dry winters My skin type: combination (more on the dry side in winter). When it comes to reapplication over makeup, nothing works for me. It just looks messy. Sticks have oils and waxes, so they do mess up makeup
Normal/combo skin (very normal, if I wash it, I generally have clear skin) climate: US Midwest, so so winter dry, summer normal-ish I really like the Haruharu Wonder yellow sunscreen for morning application. It has a very velvety texture and goes on great, so I'm interested in trying their sun stick. As for a tinted version, I am black (African American) , so with my melanated skin, I like using Kinlo's tinted sunscreens. They are physical sunscreens, but the tint matches my skin tone so no white cast. They also have a body lotion version SPF 35 that I also like.
I am from a tropical country but live in south so is kinda cold and humid. I have veeeru oily skin + acne, so i like "NEOSTRATA Minesol Oil Control" or "NEUTROGENA Sun Fresh Derm Care" both at 70fps. I feel like Neutrogena is more light weigh to my face while Neostrata is dense enough to give me a blur effect and is a perfect match to my foundation.
my faves are the numbuzin n.1 sunscreen and the roundlab. I really want to try the skin1004 centella one because it seems right up my alley. I have been blessed with normal skin and the weather in Portugal tends to be hot in the summer and temperate in winter and the climate tends to be more dry in the summer and cooler in winter so I have a bit of both
I have sensitive and acne prone combination skin that leans dry living in a very arid mountainous area. I liked the haru haru wonder sunscreen at first enough to use up two bottles and repurchase but on my third bottle during this super hot insufferable summer I’m finding it quite heavy and sticky on my skin. I have sensory issues and can really feel everything on my skin so I was really sad that it started feeling heavy to me. I also find that it pills a little bit under makeup if you rub your face. It won’t pull during application but it can after a long day if you rub at it! I think I’ll definitely repurchase again over autumn and winter but for spring and summer I’m going to have to look for something else.
Skin type: dry and dehydrated, sensitive Climate: Dry Winter, Humid summer (Midwest US) + a lot of cloudy days Holy grail sunscreen: Dear Klairs: All-day Airy Sunscreen SPF 50+ ! The first chemical sunscreen I've ever used that didn't give me an allergic reaction! I have had it pill once when putting on makeup, but I think it was mixing badly with something else I put on my face at the time. And it is only 50g. I go through it quite fast. I really wish it came in a gallon lol
Skin type: oily but somewhat dehydrated Climate: Germany, cold and dry in winter, hot and changing between dry and humid in summer My holy grail sunscreen in generel for looking totally like nothing on the skin and flawless under makeup is skin aqua super moisturizing milk (blue bottle), but it is tricky to reapply since it takes about 20 minutes to dry which suuucks😭 bc overall, if you only wear light makeup (I just wear powder and concealer under my eyes) you can literally put this stuff on top of your makeup and once it dries it barely smudges it (i can only speak for wearing powder only, it's probably a little different with more layers of makeup) and it stays looking good even though I do sports outdoors a lot and sweat and stuff Currently testing through other options though bc I aint got no time to always wait 20 minutes til my face doesn't look wet anymore 😢 missha soft finish is the only sunscreen i ever tried that actually leaves a mattifying finish on my oily af skin, but unfortunately it leaves a little cast that is just the wrong shade for my skin (I'm already very pale, so the cast isn't taht strong on me, but the color of it kinda doesn't match well with my skin at all so it looks pretty weird)
skin type: combination towards oil skin climate: South East Asia - hot, wet and humid all year round holy grail sunscreens 🤭: roundlab birch moisturizing sunscreen and skin& ab hybarrier fresh sun lotion (similar to boj & round lab but much thicker)
Im dry to combination skintype. I live in the tropical country in south east asia. I use skin 1004 spf 50 sunscreen. I think that one has the best feeling for sunscreen. Not greasy at all.
Garnier ambre solaire have an over make up spray SPF 50, which ive been using. It leaves my skin a bit white so i have to tap it in and leaves my skin a bit too shiny so meed to powder my t zone after, but it seems good. In the morning i use the same but the lotion SPF 50. But always looking for good options to reapply on office days when i have make up on
Climate:Mild Skin type: Dry and Sensitive Sunscreen: Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum This sunscreen is trending for a reason! It is so lightweight but moisturising and it doesn't have that typical sunscreen smell. The pump makes it really easy to completely empty it without having to cut it in half which is something i usually have to do to get the last sunscreen in the tube.
I put in so much effort to have healthy and good looking skin, so wearing makeup is not my priority. I wear a light layer of powder foundation to tone down the shine, and it usually doesn’t interfere when I reapply sunscreen. And sunscreen isn’t the only sun protection option we have, wear a hat!
My holy grail is UNNY club (clear shaking sun lotion), its very similar to Anessa but for a fraction of the price. It also doesn’t dry my skin out throughout the day like Anessa does. But I don’t know how accessible UNNY club is to everyone else because I live in China and it’s a fairly popular brand here. Oh and I have dry skin.
👋 MINERAL SPF REC. Seasonal climate: cold, dry winters; hot, humid summers. Winter skin: combo Summer skin: oily Regardless of season: very sensitive The mineral Shiseido Urban Environment sunscreen is good. Does have somewhat of a cast, but it has some water resistance, the protection is high, and there are antioxidants in the formulation- which, with sensitive skin, I think is good because it can be really hard to find products that don't irritate (i.e. another antioxidant specific product). The finish is NOT matte. There is no oil in the formulation, but a slight pearlescent sheen is left on the skin. The size is too small and the price is too high. But, if you have been struggling to find a really lightweight/fluidy mineral spf, it may be worth a try. FYI Shiseido also makes a hybrid spf. It's also called "Urban Environment" and the bottle/packaging looks exactly the same, so double-check to make sure you get the correct one (I've accidentally bought the incorrect one more than once).

I just can't imagine how a sunscreen stick wouldn't move your makeup around. If I wasn't wearing any I would consider it though.

it does :( it horribly breaks up my makeup anytime i try.

It's made for combination skin so a water/oil based foundation can work well with it
Favorite SPFs: Numbuzin No1 for spring/summer (fall/winter: Hada Labo). Skin type: dry, sensitive. Climate: 4 seasons, very cold dry winters & humid summers.
I live in the most humid weather of India and the Concious Chemist-Berry bright Sunscreen is great for my oily acne prone skin
I use the Isehan Kiss Me Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence, it makes your skin feel so soft and its slightly green so it may help with some redness
your makeup looks so good!! the gloss is glossinggg✨🩷 my fav sunscreen atm is the round lab birch juice! (i have combo skin)
That was is a solid in my books also 👌
My favorite sunscreen right now is the rohto sunplay sunblock clear water.
My sunscreen recommendations -
I’m in my mid 30s, have EDS, have normal skin with no breakouts (mostly barrier repair issues).
Honorable mentions are Mary and May cica soothing and 9 wishes pine, but would rather rebuy the skin 1004 and Haru Haru over again 😂
I had other more glowy richer sunscreens I swore by in winter (Frudia blue cap is top) but is way too glowy for my skin now.
Thank you for the tips from a fellow EDS-er!
Fellow Sacramento area EDSer! Thank you for your detailed recommendations.
@@GreenEyedGumby small world!!
skin type: combination
climate: north america - dry in winter, humid in summer
holy grail sunscreen: ROUND LAB Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen spf 50+
I'm a round lab girlie myself here in london with super dry skin. Plus when I go swimming in my gym it doesn't sting my eyes.
Thank you for this video Tina! It it so important that we apply enough sunscreen to get the spf on the label.❤
I use the liquid boj sunscreen and I love it soo I need to try the Sun stick
You can also use sunscreen sprays and then top with Japanese sunscreen powders there are a surprisingly large amount
Normal to dry skin. Skin 1004 hyalu-cica is a game changer. I won’t use anything else. My best friend uses it now too
You're glowing, your skin is amazingly flawless and beautiful.😍😍😍
Nivea UV Super Water Gel has been my hg sunscreen for five years!! My skin used to be super oily and now it’s combo/dry but it still works great for me in the dry winters and humid summers where I live. The Biore UV Perfect Milk is also amazing 😁
Same HG! I live in a hot climate with mild winters, and I have combo/sensitive skin.
I love that tocobo stick in the humid nasty weather haha. It smells nice and after a moment it settles into a more dry touch.
Was dry combi and now oily combi and this sunscreen still remains my
Holy grail!
Skin type : Normal-oily in summer, Normal-dry in winter
Place : India (i live in a very hot and humid state! 😢)
Sunscreen of choice : Biore aqua uv essence ❤
Yes!! so hyped for this topic
This was so so helpful, THANK YOU!!! Especially for the product recs
Thank you for making a realistic video ❤ Love your content always ❤
They became my staple every time I wanted to delve into skincare!!🥰
skin type: combo in winter, oily in summer
climate: in the pnw in the us, so very dry in the winter and slightly dry/humid in the summertime
sunscreen: biore uv aqua rich watery essence has been my go-to for years but the p.calm sunscreen is growing on me definitely!
Skin type: Dehydrated but oily
Climate: Hot and humid (Malaysia)
Sunscreen: Cosrx Aloe Soothing Suncream SPF50
It's the only sunscreen that doesn't suck the moisture out of my skin or make my eyes water. I skip the moisturiser because it's already quite moisturising.
For the past 2 years I've been really loving Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun+. I have mixed skin type with oily t-zone and dry cheeks. I've used it in all climates and it has never failed me
I’ve never tried that one but now I’m curious 😮
I live in Singapore. I have dry skin. I have been using the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid sun gel. Sometimes, I even skip moisturizer bcos it's moisturizing enough & leaves no whitecast.
I live in a humid place in my country in india and my skin type is combo, acne prone and with your recommendation i am using the numbuzin no 1 sunscreen like the green one and it is soo good ❤
4:40 mine is Goodal Heartleaf Calming Moisture Sun Cream. This is truly the beeeeeest sunscreen ever, at least for my skin type which is combo to dry
Skin type: oily
Climate: hot & humid - tropical country
Holy grail: muji sunscreen gel (for indoor) and kanebo global skin protector (outdoor)
Reapply: kose suncut
Krave Beauty Sunscreen - live in Minnesota, USA. My skin type is normal to dry
skin type: dry
climate: dry
holy grail sunscreen: la roche posay invisible fluid spf 50+
I am very much combo skin, some days leaning more oily or dry; and my holy grail has to be the skin1004 centella sun serum! Because it works on my oily and my dry days, unlike my boj tends to be a bit too moisturizing if I’m leaning more oily. I do live in California, but I have worn it in other places with super humid weather as well!
I really like round lab and haruharu sunscreens, they doesn’t irritate my eyes, I live in Norway and have combi skin, ore oily at the summer
This video is exactly what i need this time. Thanks again tina.
I use a stick to reapply and love it. I also use the vt sun cushion to reapply on some days and neither one of them interfere with my makeup
I have few holy grails: Round Lab birch juice, anua and skin1004.
Climate: hot and humid summer, dry winters
My skin type: combination (more on the dry side in winter).
When it comes to reapplication over makeup, nothing works for me. It just looks messy. Sticks have oils and waxes, so they do mess up makeup
Normal/combo skin (very normal, if I wash it, I generally have clear skin)
climate: US Midwest, so so winter dry, summer normal-ish
I really like the Haruharu Wonder yellow sunscreen for morning application.
I have been blessed with normal skin and the weather in Portugal tends to be hot in the summer and temperate in winter and the climate tends to be more dry in the summer and cooler in winter so I have a bit of both
Tina , Please Review : ANUA NIACINAMIDE 10% + TXA 4% DARK SPOT CORRECTING SERUM .
Thank you for introducing more Japanese products!!!
Skin type: dry and dehydrated, sensitive
Climate: Dry Winter, Humid summer (Midwest US) + a lot of cloudy days
Holy grail sunscreen: Dear Klairs: All-day Airy Sunscreen SPF 50+ ! The first chemical sunscreen I've ever used that didn't give me an allergic reaction! I have had it pill once when putting on makeup, but I think it was mixing badly with something else I put on my face at the time. And it is only 50g. I go through it quite fast. I really wish it came in a gallon lol
Skin type: oily but somewhat dehydrated
Climate: Germany, cold and dry in winter, hot and changing between dry and humid in summer
My holy grail sunscreen in generel for looking totally like nothing on the skin and flawless under makeup is skin aqua super moisturizing milk (blue bottle), but it is tricky to reapply since it takes about 20 minutes to dry which suuucks😭 bc overall, if you only wear light makeup (I just wear powder and concealer under my eyes) you can literally put this stuff on top of your makeup and once it dries it barely smudges it (i can only speak for wearing powder only, it's probably a little different with more layers of makeup) and it stays looking good even though I do sports outdoors a lot and sweat and stuff
Currently testing through other options though bc I aint got no time to always wait 20 minutes til my face doesn't look wet anymore 😢 missha soft finish is the only sunscreen i ever tried that actually leaves a mattifying finish on my oily af skin, but unfortunately it leaves a little cast that is just the wrong shade for my skin (I'm already very pale, so the cast isn't taht strong on me, but the color of it kinda doesn't match well with my skin at all so it looks pretty weird)
skin type: combination towards oil skin
climate: South East Asia - hot, wet and humid all year round
holy grail sunscreens 🤭: roundlab birch moisturizing sunscreen and skin& ab hybarrier fresh sun lotion (similar to boj & round lab but much thicker)
This is a great topic!!! Thank you ❤
Im dry to combination skintype.
But always looking for good options to reapply on office days when i have make up on
Climate:Mild
Skin type: Dry and Sensitive
Sunscreen: Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum
This sunscreen is trending for a reason!
And sunscreen isn’t the only sun protection option we have, wear a hat!
im combi leaning to oily previously prone to acne and my faves are the anua and the isntree watery sun cream
Could you make a makeup tutorial for the look in this video please?
👋 MINERAL SPF REC.
Seasonal climate: cold, dry winters; hot, humid summers.
Winter skin: combo
Summer skin: oily
Regardless of season: very sensitive
The mineral Shiseido Urban Environment sunscreen is good.
