One of the reasons I love this channel so much is because Dr Dray is a serious intellectual who keeps herself informed and continually educates herself by going to conferences etc
Yup! I am sooooo grateful to my team of Dermatologists and Rumitologists at KU medical center.I was finally diagnosed with Vasculitis. It was exacerbated by 3 different medications! I had my eczema and psoriasis on my legs as well. I was a mess.
I love the Vaseline stick to protect sensitive areas before applying a retinoid. It's quick and easy, not as thick/greasy as regular Vaseline, but still protects from irritation really well.
Yes! I also like to keep samples in the smaller bags and I try things when I’m on a road trip or vacation. I often have things I’ll never use otherwise yet come in handy when I’m in a different country or climate.
I followed your advice about using LRP Cicaplast Gel around my eyes, and it really works like magic! It’s kind of ironic, that on the packaging it’s written “don’t use it around your eyes”, but there’s literally nothing in the ingredients list to support this cautionary statement 😅 and that it works exceptionally good around the eye area! I also love to use this gel 10 minutes after applying retinol before going to bed, because it works as a slugging product for me, but with the benefit of taking care of the skin barrier, which is especially important while using retinoids. Love your videos, thank you 🙏🏽 ❤
I'm excited about the new stuff in skin care and whatever freebies the Doc brings back from the conferences, yes, even that small tub of petroleum jelly 😁
The ROC beach house, wow! So pretty and the VW was adorable. Looked like a fabulous party. Glad you had fun and got to meet some new and old friends. You deserve it. Love San Diego 🏖🦭 TFS
I love Dr Dray she is a breath of fresh air and easy to listen to and so down to earth and thank you for getting me onto the shea moisture leave in salicylic acid treatment it has helped my scalp itch so much.
Where did you purchase the gel? I purchased the gel from Amazon and they mailed me the sample size, cost $22.00. I sent it back and I’m not sure where else I can purchase it.
Happy Sunday, Dr. Dray! You're in my favorite place...San Diego! You're not alone in loving totes, I have several. The pink sweater is a great color on you! Looking forward to next weekend's vlog!
Thanks to you, I now have three 13 oz tubs of Vaseline ($10 from Amazon). I have super dry hands and NOTHING worked to moisturize them. After viewing one of your videos I decided to try Vaseline (I thought it would be too greasy). Well, it works and isn’t greasy! You don’t need much. These tubs probably won’t be finished by the time I kick the bucket 😂 (I’m 67 1/2). Anyway, thanks Dr. Dray for all your tips, tricks, and product info!
After a long, stressful & just down day for me, this wholesome, fun vlog is a welcome & uplifting distraction 😊. Thanks for the interesting content, Dr. Dray ❤
Thanks for filling us in on your lecture topic. Even if it isn’t immediately relevant to everyone I enjoy the stored information for us laymen to keep in our back pockets. Interesting stuff. 🤔
Being from California, San Diego is one of my favorite places. I'm on the east coast now, and I find that the Atlantic Ocean water is warmer than Pacific Ocean water. Beautiful city, San Diego, and so much to see and do. Enjoy, and thank you for sharing, Dr. Dray. I appreciate your passion for the integumentary system. You're knowledge is exciting!
I tried that shea moisture hibiscus, it smells wonderful! But my hair still looked better with aussie miracle coils for half the price.. if only shea moisture could make perfumes I'd be happy
I went to a school in the Navy that was in San Diego and it was 4 months long. I loved running there. Im so sad my running days are over. Beautiful location! Looks like you're having fun!
Sheamoisture Hibiscus & Coconut bodywash I use during the winter months for some extra hydration and the scent is relaxing while taking a shower. Great video thanks for vlogging your trip and sharing.
I was in that same hotel (recognize the room!) last week! We had a great meal around the corner at the tapas place. And also across the street at Water Grille. Loved their salmon. Have fun. So much to do in San Diego.
Happy Sunday Dr Dray ! ❤ loving the Travel Vlogs ! I purchased the Vaseline Radiant a couple weeks back and I really am enjoying it. Normally I use CeraVe but took a chance and Happy I did. Be safe and enjoy the rest of your conference.
11:41 I use that all 3 of the Shea moisture products and have for years. It’s my absolute favorite. I have super tight 3 c curls with porous and fine hair.
Dear Dr Dray, in the morning you wear e.l.f whoa glow sunscreen. In your notes you also packed Neutrogena mineral suncreen. At what time you wear the mineral sunscreen? How do you alternate your sunscreens?
Hi Jackie! Happy Sunday!! I missed you! I hope you are well. We have been having so much rain. The sun finally came out today but its extremely windy and cold. I put my Easter decorations up today. Indoors and out. And worked on an Easter craft. Turned out just as I had envisioned which almost never happens. Lol! I'm going to make tea soon and I'd love it if you could join me, my dear, sweet friend. I know out kitties are always ready for their cuddles. Let's put up our feet and we can all relax together. I hope you have a lovely evening. Peace, joy and many blessings to you always. ❤🙏❤🕊❤☕🐈☕🐈❤😴🌺
Great vlog and love your lemon pajamas. I'm anti Uni-Lever because of their stance on continuing to sell and produce in Russia during the war. But I'm not here to push my view on anyone else other than I wish I could push it on Uni-Lever. I've been using Cerave Healing ointment rather than Vaseline now, and I love it so much better. Hope you have a fabulous time.
Hi Dr. Drey, I use shea moisture products for my hair and I like them for my hair. It keeps my hair very soft and silky with the volume I love for my hair. Thank you for sharing your weekend with us. Have a great week! 😊
It looks like you’re having a good time there, and will bring back more information to share with all of us. Which Elf Whoa Glow works for you? I think you and I have very similar skin, tone and depth of color. I have to be very mindful of what tints I use, if any. I’m quite olive, with visible green, and yellow in some lighting. Thanks for taking us along!
That hotel looks really wonderful. I'm happy you had an educational, social, and relaxing trip! 😍 San Diego is such a great city; I used to play there all the time with my old band and we always had a really lovely time.
Wow, I've never seen a sunscreen in a pump bottle. That would be a game changer for me. Can't wait to try that Aveeno sunscreen, I wonder how it is on the face as well as the body?
I’ve been using raw she’s butter on my lips and it’s working pretty good. My lips dry out so badly so I have to keep them conditioned constantly. I also like Vaseline and both of these are so much cheaper than other lip things.
I have a home in the US and a home in Latin America. It sometimes takes a week for me to actually realize where I’m sleeping. I also tend to break out for a week when changing homes. I always thought this was from the different biomes in the water. I have clindamycin lotion to use for breakouts. I hardly ever use it because I think it makes acne erupt before it begins to clear the skin. I call these first world problems - where I live in Latin America is extremely poor.
Hi Dr Dray. I have a question and wondered if you could offer your expertise. Can applying moisturiser to a damp face cause breakouts/closed comedones for some people? I've always applied to damp skin but struggled with consistent breakouts. I recently started applying my moisturiser after my face dries from cleansing and found my breakouts have reduced, especially CC. I haven't seen much online about applying to damp skin being a potential acne trigger so wondered if this was really the cause of mine. Thank you for all you do!
Good afternoon and happy Sunday 😊what a beautiful beach view! I love the beach. Soon I plan on trying ceraV sunscreen. Since June I’ve been using Drmtlgy and banana boat (years) and since February 2023. I’ve been using timeless serums and love them but I want to try the ordinary, not sure which one yet.
Will you please review the new Shea Moisture Minoxidil 2% Hair Regrowth Treatment for Women? I was excited to see this as something that may help post chemotherapy. Thanks! I'm glad you're having fun by the Pacific!
Fun vlog! Appreciate you showing us all of the scenery. Nice products to try in the gift bag. I got the Vaseline body balm stick. It came with the two pack of Vaseline at Costco and I really like it. Happy Sunday, Dr Dray! I hope you have tranquil evening. 💙
Haha I bought that pack at Costco even though I already have TWO containers of Vaseline just to get that balm. It’s kind of pricey alone. I figure Vaseline never really goes bad so it’ll get through it all eventually
I was shocked to hear that Shea Moisture is owned by Unilever. They used to have "Our Story" on their packaging: " Sofi Tucker started selling Shea Nuts at the village market in Bonthe, Sierra Leone in 1912. By age 19, the widowed mother of four was selling Shea Butter preparations all over the countryside. Sofi Tucker was our Grandmother and SheaMoisture is her legacy. Through Community Commerce you help empower disadvantaged women to realize a bright, healthier future." What happened to that?? 😟
The Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie is really nice for dry/curly hair. However their shampoo & conditioner of the same line is quite drying, imo. Also loads of fragrance which gives me an itchy scalp. 😟 Love, love, love the Vaseline Balm stick, so good on the hands, lips, anywhere that's chronically dry. ☺
One of the reasons I love this channel so much is because Dr Dray is a serious intellectual who keeps herself informed and continually educates herself by going to conferences etc
Yes, and she's not afraid to speak scientifically with us laymen. She never talks down to us!
All doctors must attend conferences to keep their license
This reminds me of the weekend vlogs a couple of years ago. They always started with a workout. 😊
the bright pink looks fabulous on you!
Yup! I am sooooo grateful to my team of Dermatologists and Rumitologists at KU medical center.I was finally diagnosed with Vasculitis. It was exacerbated by 3 different medications! I had my eczema and psoriasis on my legs as well. I was a mess.
My cousin is a Dr. working at that hospital. You were in good hands, and so glad they helped you. ☺️
I love the Vaseline stick to protect sensitive areas before applying a retinoid. It's quick and easy, not as thick/greasy as regular Vaseline, but still protects from irritation really well.
Love that sweater color on you, really makes you sparkle
Such a luscious pink jumper!
The coastal location looked heavenly, the sunlight shimmering on the water.
I am definitely in the camp of you can't have too many bags. Love the nice goodie bag! You have definitely rekindled my love of Vaseline.
I love that you used your hair clip to hold your towel! Great idea!
What a pretty beach house in the coastal sunset.🌺
I love those small bags that come with some things. I love them to organize toiletries, and make guest kits for when family-friends stay over.
Yes! I also like to keep samples in the smaller bags and I try things when I’m on a road trip or vacation. I often have things I’ll never use otherwise yet come in handy when I’m in a different country or climate.

I wanted to love it but I can’t stand the smell of it! It does help with itch though
Thanks for recommending the Cicaplast gel. Love the consistency and been using it everyday. I think it’s better than the balm. And I love glycerin.
The balm is wonderful for eczema; my rough, dry skin came off very easily.
