I WISH you could still get a GMPP Crate 350 for $1500. I'd still be driving my '83 Malibu Wagon or the '93 Silverado I traded it for. Plus I wouldn't have a car payment.
Ancient video. That was a horrible weak gas hog engine! 1960's 350 HP cam in an early '70s 350" with only 7.6:1 actual compression ratio! Get a '96 - '02 Chevy/GMC truck/van Vortec 350" instead! Heads on those good to 450+ HP...
As soon as I saw that they mounted a flex plate it became obvious that they were going to slap an automatic transmission into the vehicle. That's when I lost all interest and stopped watching. Death to automatic transmissions!
@@CamoShirt automatic transmissions usually bust at 160,000 km and need a complete rebuild. We already rebuilt three. The clutch in my manual transmission is at 239,000 km and is still the original clutch from the factory. The clutch on one of my other cars, before I gave it away had 468,000 km and it was still fine.
@@CamoShirt why did you assume that it was a truck? It was a passenger vehicle. And the transmission busted even after being rebuilt with performance parts. It happens all of the time. People who don't know how to drive a manual because they never learned it or haven't mastered it believe that manual transmissions aren't durable. This, however, is a misperception, and in reality, the automatics break far faster, which is logical, since they have more parts and 21+ clutches. Just the torque converter burning out from overheating is the #1 cause of automatic transmission failure, not to mention the rest of the complex mechanical subsystems in an automatic transmission.
Man, this is hard to watch with Hulk Hogan voice effects 😂 if he drops a brother im dead 💀 🤣 😂 😭
I forgot that they had a discount Stone Cold Steve Austin on the show for a short time after Stacey David left
Glad he didn't pop a forehead vein during this...
I was thinking Perry Saturn.
Goatboy is the very definition of sausage fingers

In the OLD DAYS of Hot Rodding, the smart drag racing guys, chromed the inside of their headers. To get the smoothest gas flow possible.
Been wanting to put a L67 Supercharged 3.8 in a S10 like the Holden Commodore had. To bad we didn't get the RWD version here in the states. Only FWD.
Could still use the Engine but. The Aussie Holden Commodore from VS series til end of VY was an option. Could use 700R4 auto as Holden did
"And now that we got the engine and trans together, I'm gonna tombstone it into the truck then body drop it into place"
jesse ventura needs to simmer down...

After this show, Kevin got into an accident causing him to be blind and then followed his dream of being a rapper and became "blind fury"
Seeing Jessie...😭
I dont trust the grade 5 nuts , bolts and washers that com in kits like these shows do so use grade 8 anti rust coated Fastenal fasteners
V8 S-10's would have killed off sales of full size trucks...
4L60e is the factory transmission. Similar to the 700r, but not the same.
Who did you get the conversion kit from motor mount headers and things like that?
