Interesting. I don't remember this game's soundtrack making much of an impression on me back when I played it, yet watching this video I find myself deeply impressed by the music. The parts that I can still make out over Aile's speedrunner noises, at least :)
So is it possible to skip cutscenes and some of the dialogue with Start like it is in the collection release? If so, is it not done here since it doesn't really have to do with gameplay optimization?
Small difference overall, but yes. As this is a TAS we didn't have to worry about taking unintentional hits and suffer from her bigger knockback distance
@@PurpleHeartEX from what i've seen/heard it's overcomplicated, the level design isn't the best, some graphics are just plain awful and it's a big disappointment to anyone that backed it on kickstarter
@@devilishjester7718 personally the music was great and the playstyle was kinda werid but overall a interesting change from my point of view the fact you had to dash through a boss when its at low enough health made it harder for some players but overall quite a good game the only issue was the difficulty ramp from certain levels

Fistleo is a fire element boss and is thus weak to lightning. This is very unfortunate for him because it means we can combine Hx's powerful combo attacks, extra damage from using overdrive and extra damage from the elemental weakness. The combo will be lightning orb, air dash attack, walking slash attack and then the first two slashes of the three hit combo. We face away from the boss for our final two slashes because the second attack starts with a small hitbox backswing behind us.

the tas runs on a rom without any prior saves on it, so cutscenes are unskippable

yes, she crawls faster but consequently has more severe knockback. meanwhile vent has less knockback but crawls slower.
