Great video, but, my camper's hose pulls out plenty far, so I don't really need the supplied hose. Do you have a converter kit without the hose? thank you!!
The whole point of QC is it's quick. Just use a female 3/8" to QC male adapter on the valve and then a regular m to f qc hose. "Now your'e ready to hook up to a tank"...lol, you mean a QC propane line?
I"m not so sure about that. The regulator doesn't allow enough gas from your low pressure RV system to get a good enough flame. THat's why it has to come off.
I don't like this system. You have to permanently modify the grill and lose the regulator. If you ever encounter a situation where you want to use the grill elsewhere you are SOL.
We have a simple adapter hose available for using the converted Weber Q with the 1 lb. bottles so it can still be used as a portable grill for tailgating, camping, etc.
If you do this to your Q grill, you will void your warranty with the grill. Just thought people would like to know that as well. I work for weber and we do not recommend this at all.

Thanks for this video! 10 min and done
Does this apply to a 2022 model travel trailer that is already set up for a grill?
Where can I buy only the valve
Well done, very clear...dude!
I have the same question as Lonnie Anthony - what size is the female fitting? Any assistance appreciated.
what size does the female flared fitting have to be to match the weber male fitting

Where do you buy the single brass connector from 1/8 to 3/8? Can't find any on the internet or Home Depot/Lowe's. Care to share a link?
That my friend is the 64 dollar question. Webber has made it as hard as possible to convert this grill.
is the fitting included in the kit?
Yes, the conversion fitting is included in the kit. Everything needed for the conversion is in the kit, including pipe joint compound and leak detect.
You can get just the quick connect male fitting and convert your grill without the extra hose... male fitting about $15.

Can this convert kit work with converting natural gas to LPG?
Your link no longer works. How can I get this kit?

There should be a quick connect at the regulator. This seems pretty useless.Who wants to have a hose hanging off their grill when trying to store it.
can anyone please provide a link to obtaining the quick connect/disconnect? thank you
Some people, like me, probably don't care.
Exactly. Poor setup.

What do you suggest to convert to use with low pressure propane from RV ?
What do you recommend?

Super curious- are you authorized to speak for Weber? I'd like your name. Thanks!
Yeah it probably causes California in the state of cancer!!
CHARCOAL barbecue is still the BEST!!!
Was this video intended to start a discussion about charcoal vs. propane? (hint: NO)
@@tedschmitt178 I was trying to find that part of the video too. Thanks for the hint, i was leaning towards no as well
