Great vid Sam, good to hear your thoughts at the end on the Rail vs Fuel EXe. I’ve been riding a Rail 5 for the last couple of months in the same filthy conditions, mainly at night and the Rail just ploughs through everything making the entire ride enjoyable! Slipping and sliding through the mud, powering up hills, having a laugh and not worrying about the battery. Look forward to the next 😊👍🏻
Great review and the honest battery life feedback I was looking for. The manufacturer claims are outrageous! I know that hill out of Haworth well and it’s steep af 👍
Thanks for the support dude 😎 I don't see the point being dishonest about these things. People will find out eventually 😅 Nothing but hills around my way! 😆
Great vid,i bought my first e bike a year ago,a game changer for me,i was getting cramped up,my health was suffering badly on an analogue mtb,at 55 i kept putting it off and kidding myself i will ride through it,i was wrong! After getting the e bike,i have my mojo back,im going further, enjoying it more and riding more, even travelling to wales,Scotland etc just to ride big climbs and enjoy it I think afan forest did it for me and made me make my mind up,i took my analogue there and it nearly killed me! 3 months later, and waiting for the sales,i bagged a cube stereo 23 model with a 750 battery and bosch gen 4 motor with kiox, ive never looked back,in one year, ive done just under 3000 miles on it.
Honestly man, in my opinion, a person should ride whatever helps them achieve their goals: whether that be maximum happiness, maximum fitness, or somewhere in between. If it's an E-bike that gets you there then great! And if it's analog... That's great too! As long as we are enjoying the ride, that's the main thing 😁
Thanks, I think the DJI footage looks great, better than the GoPro indeed. I love the DB8 breaks too. They are great, no complaints. I had to change brake fluid in front and brake pads wear quickly. Luckily they are Sram most common type and easy to find :-) It's easy for me to relate your feelings after ride. Great summary! With a manual bike I'm half dead after ride :-)
Hey dude, it's Sam here! I use the DJI Action and I got a " Sametop Chest Mount Harness Chesty Strap" which is relatively cheap but feels and performs quality!

Yeah that Rail is just pure fun! That's what we want sometimes hey! 👌😎

The DJI is great and at a much better price point! Maybe looking at a drone to follow me around soon! 😁
Hows the battery rattle grab one when the price falls out almost ay the nukeproof situation
You can hear it a bit on the rocky section at 6.08 but I didn't notice it when I was actually riding 👌
Hi Sam. nice review. Loved the riding and the camera was very well positioned. If you dont mind me asking, what camera and belt are you using?
