Matt, my name is Allen moss. I wanted to thank you for all the videos. I went from fishing off the shore in little ponds around my house and really only knowing the little bit my father taught me about bass fishing, to over the last 9 months catching tons and tons of bass off a boat I got from my grandfather. All the videos you have posted have taught me so much it surprises my friends when I take them fishing and I can at least pretend I somewhat know what I’m doing. So again thank you sir, couldn’t have done it all with out ya, keep um comin -Allen Moss
That's what I picture when someone says "We crushed them!" Sick, plain sick! Please do an in-depth video on lures and methods for catching stripers in fall. Thanks!!!
HONESTLY!! Is the only channel I watch anymore. Epic videos, great team, & great family!! Every video I watch makes me feel like I’m fishing right there with you guys 🙌🏽 I can’t thank TacticalBassin enough!! 🎣💪🏽💯🙌🏽
Guys I just caught my first striper yesterday in my lake. It was a big one two. I even got it on the GoPro I’ll post the video eventually. It’s not great footage but it’s awesome we’re I caught it. It’s all because of your swimbait video I applied to stripers at my lake.
One of the best videos on your channel to this date. You guys worked together flawlessly. I’m from Ukiah and i love watching all of your videos. Thanks for the vid!
Can you guys do “an everything you need to know” in depth instructional video specifically for stripers? I know you guys focus on bass fishing but you guys have an incredible tech of teaching!! Also fishing the Salmon run? So things like how to find stripers, time of year, weather, tides, moon phases parts of delta to fish and when, how to progress through the day(follow the fish) baits, tackle and as much more as you can? Thank you guys!! I LOVE your videos
I love how you both fish all the time and have been fishing for years but you still get so excited to throw in to a school when they’re biting! That’s awesome guys 👍👍
Blessed to live on the East Coast (CT) where striper fishing is some of the best. Dirty Jigs swim jig + Keitech = great action. Keep up the good work gents.
Awesome video, guys! When you get to those areas where all the current flows through a little neck down, it’s amazing the way the fish just stack up and feed on the stuff that’s coming through on the conveyor belt.
That is amazing. I've been half as lucky perhaps three times with a school of bass. I yanked out 15 smallies on red Fat Gitzits. How old school is that? My wrists were killing me. You guys are living the good life.
Great video, got me all excited this morning...you guys fish well as a team...glad I stayed home from work today just to be entertained by this video...
I use 12lbs as my main line for the big 3S (Striper, Sturgeon, Salmon). I've gotten some monster with it. I think its a balancing act when fishing large fish. I honestly haven't straightened hooks with stripers or sturgeons, but have plenty of time with Salmon. My theory is because of fishing techniques and location. When stripers and sturgeon fishing, I have plenty of time to play with and its open water so I can have lighter gear and looser drag. Salmon, where I fish, is running water and I have to keep my drag tight or I get spolled. Thats where hooks come in to play...and thats where I get straightened hooks. Anyway, great video as always!
Y'all having too much fun! Lol. I love y'alls channel! I follow many and y'all are hands down best all around, content, links, etc. Looks like that shoulder is doing much better now!
@@thetoxicbadger9202 it has nothing to do with the knot. I tie a double sandiego jam knot using 30lb xxx izorline. It's to do with the power handle not having enough counterbalance and the handle engages the reel mid cast, and when your throwing a 10oz bait and your reel engages your bait is bound to go flying sooner or later no matter the knot or the line.
Not stripers, but I took your guy's advice about the 168 being fine to throw on a MH and stuck an almost 5 lb smallie yesterday. Time to pick up a trout pattern one now too.
Hey guys great video. I’ve got a question. I’m looking into getting a new reel to throw some 8” punkers. Which Tranx reel should I be looking at? I’m left handed by the way. Any help would be appreciated.
Water and Ice Outdoors Do what Commiefornia did, introduce them. Almost all the common bass species around here are non-native, yet they still have ridiculous rules about harvesting them.
Hey I just relocated and will be doing some striper fishing this summer, what rod and reel set up do you guys use for fishing the rivers and backwaters?
I would like to see you guys do this on the east coast. My father and I fish for striper in the back bays of southern NJ in fall, and I can never get a fish to eat a glide bait. I have gotten them to eat top water, but it’s inconsistent. We catch the majority of our large striper on live spot (a type of croaker). I’d like to see you or someone else catch big striper consistently on lures in the back bays of NJ during fall when the striper are most pressured by others trying to get a keeper striper for dinner.
Awesome vid guys. You guys killed the striper. Hope to see more on the striper fishing. I’m getting more into throwing glide baits now thanks to your videos. Keep it up and thanks for all the info you give all of us. 👍🏼 Prospect slough area?
Def looks like prospect slough but I've never seen that skinny inlet they were fishing..I fish prospect a lot my pops caught a 20 pounder out there👌🏾..
Matt if you an Tim competed you guys compete together you guys would kick butt in a professional tournament you guys should try. You an Tim together doing a bassmaster elite would kick butt for sure
Jeff Carnevale you start your fishing at LOW water and fish through the rising water level. Then you can take a break when it’s at highest level. The fishing gets slow or dead when the water comes to a standstill. When water levels go down fishing starts up again and you continue for another 2 or 3 hours. Watch mangrove wildlive vids, nature BOOSTS at incoming tide. It’s a buzz
Kayak fishing For predators Where I’m from it’s usually the outgoing tide that gets the fish active. Fishing the mouths of cuts dumping water and bait into the river is some of the best fishing I’ve ever had.
swooopg i rather take the peak of the tide and it’s time shifting throughout the month. There’s one high level at night and one at daylight so only one of them you can fish and ONLY then if i have that exact time period not have to do some work for living THATS because i mainly fish the river in my living area from the bank. The water takes possession of the flats beside the main river bed where the BIG ships take their heavy loads up or downstream. Their engines suck at first the water out of these flats areas close to the bank then the waves go opposite and collapse at the stone blocks and dams that divert the current away from the bank at Sharp bends. Big waves start running towards you and sometimes it looks like it’s boiling which drive the fish mad. When you’re at the right time say dawn (or dusk) on certain fishing spots then you get even BIGger chance at that big one. BUT lets say you’re fishing from a boat then i would indeed take the outgoing tide (and a few hours before that). Thanks
That spot just looks unbelievable lol I’m so jealous that I don’t know where this is cause that’s a straight striper area! You couldn’t ask for a better spot and conditions right here man crazy good vid Tim and mat 💪 crazy crazy footage makes me jealous and itchy to go smack some fish like that lmao at that same exact spot 😂 my search begins
Hey Matt and Tim, now that you guys move to Tennessee, can you guys give me a clue where this spot is at? Specifically which launch is this spot close too? Haha thought I ask
Here in Arkansas, them stripers comes and goes at the river. If the gates all open, they start coming in chasing shad. But in the fall they are deep. I been catching them on white spoons
Hey, i have a question. Is this where saltwater and freshwater converge? I always thought the broken lines on a striper were considered some kind of hybrid? Is there a difference between these and ones that are on the east coast? Ive noticed the broken lines a few times in other channels as well and figured i’d ask the experts. Thank you and appreciate all the hard work and knowledge you guys put out there for us.
I'm looking to get a new reel during the fall/winter cause it's now deer season and fishing has been put on the back burner for a while and I wanted to save up some money for a new reel. What's your guy's opinion on Kastking or Abu Garcia?
Awesome video! Was out catching stripers on Lake Texoma today when this video came out...none this big though but tons of em! What is that humming sound in the background? The trolling motor or talons maybe?
Isaac K topwater walking baits and underspin with a small Keitech or just the swimbait on a jig head. Keep your eyes peeled to the surface and have your baits ready
I purchased an S wavier after watching video, but when i real it close to the boat it is not kicking it stays leaning to one side. Is that normal or do i have a defective bait?
Sssshhhhh.... Been throwing that Dowz all summer on the Okuma, with a Lexa 300 8:1... Burning it around/over grass, or visible submerged cover. Any chance keeping it quiet?

You caught more striped bass in your video than I have my whole life lol
I was thinking exactly that watching him throw back all keepers 🤦🏿♂️ broke my heart I’ve never caught a keeper
Sad
Troll for them, me and my dad catch a lot that way, they were biting on shadraps
I was crushing them on the glideaway 176 try them bro you will catch limits! Just rig both weights in them you’ll smash em!
One of the best videos on your channel to this date. You guys worked together flawlessly. I’m from Ukiah and i love watching all of your videos. Thanks for the vid!

Loving these striper videos when you guys put em out, much appreciated. keep up the great work.
This video is 10xs better then all the large mouth bass videos on youtube!!!!!!!
Dope video guys, I want to get into striper fishing, could tacticalbassin do more in depth informative vids on striper that would be awesome!
Best fishing channel yet
Im not a striper fisherman but this video was great! Watched it with my dad and we were almost as excited as yall!
Awesome video, guys! When you get to those areas where all the current flows through a little neck down, it’s amazing the way the fish just stack up and feed on the stuff that’s coming through on the conveyor belt.
You guys are so fun to watch! Thank you guys for all of the knowledge that is dropped on this channel!
“Can you help me real quick?”
“No! I wanna jack em!” 😂😂
In the ZONE lmao
Nice fishing you guys, that fishing spot where you caught so many (big) fish had “catch us if you can” written all over it. Thanks for the journey😉👍
me and my dad are going striper fishing tomorrow and i’ve been watching videos all day lmao
So how was it
Tantalus_ Pophagus my dad caught a striper me on the other hand did not 😂
If you’re ever in PA, stop by Lake Raystown for some epic Striper fishing.
That is amazing. I've been half as lucky perhaps three times with a school of bass. I yanked out 15 smallies on red Fat Gitzits. How old school is that? My wrists were killing me. You guys are living the good life.
Nothing like a Striper bite. Awesome video and tight lines guys!
Love the content, thank you guys for everything you do! Best fishing team!
Great video, got me all excited this morning...you guys fish well as a team...glad I stayed home from work today just to be entertained by this video...
By the way, who the hell disliked this video...???....damn hater...
Prolly one of the funniest fishing videos I've seen way to crush em guys
Epic day!!!! Silver Bullet Beat Down!!!! Thanks Matt and Tim
THE BEST STRIPER VIDEO EVER!! Hell yeah!!

Anyway, great video as always!
Killer action guys! Once again tactl bssn comes with another great vid! Love it! Striper fishing in particular! Thanks!
Can't wait to hit the canal up. You guys got some nice ones over there but nothing like the n.e this time of year esp in the cape cod canal.
Take notes boys that's how you control a boat and work as a team.
I love this reminds me of my 20 fish day they were smashing Shad & trout all day!
If I was using a Carolina setup with a mooching rig. Would you reccomend puting the head at bottom hook?
love all your videos, you guys are the best, keep up the good work subscribers are just growing bigger and bigger
Y'all having too much fun! Lol. I love y'alls channel! I follow many and y'all are hands down best all around, content, links, etc. Looks like that shoulder is doing much better now!
8:16 why I switched from the power handle to the paddle handle. I casted off a hinkle trout because of that. Luckily I got it back.
Michael Johnsto don’t under stand how does the power handle on the tranx haft to do with ur bad knot tying
Awsome catches! love striper fishing headed out to go catch some myself soon!
Awesome footage!! I live in New England home of the linesiders...nothing like them fish !! Keep it coming boys!!
My Father is 70 and grew up in Pacifica CA catching Stripers showed this to him he loved it.
What do you think of the Jackall DowzSwimmer 220 ?
That’s one of my favorite holes! Nice.
where is this hole lol
Yea, where is this?
Not stripers, but I took your guy's advice about the 168 being fine to throw on a MH and stuck an almost 5 lb smallie yesterday. Time to pick up a trout pattern one now too.
Found out there were strippers in Jordan lake NC near me! I knew u guys had a vid on it so I checked it out! Awesome !
This was an awesome video. That is why they are my favorite fish to catch...
Always wanted to catch a monster striper !! Maybe this fall is the time???
Fall is prime time!
Fantastic video guys! Very well done. Huge striped bass fan!
What a great video! Excellent advice. I will be slamming them at Lake Powell this September!
Awesome !!!
What colors to buy on the Evergreen Shower Blows Topwater (150) ?
u guys rock.. my no1 favourite TH-cam channel .... keep it up guys
How does this compare/relate to hybrid bass? Only 1 lake in Oregon with hybrids, and I'd have to check on a striper run.
Hey guys great video. I’ve got a question. I’m looking into getting a new reel to throw some 8” punkers. Which Tranx reel should I be looking at? I’m left handed by the way. Any help would be appreciated.
I wish we had striper here in MN! Definitely on my bucket list!
Water and Ice Outdoors Do what Commiefornia did, introduce them. Almost all the common bass species around here are non-native, yet they still have ridiculous rules about harvesting them.
I mean, nice fishing and all, but can we talk about the backup skills with the trolling motor at high speed?
Reminds me of nick cage in gone in 60 seconds lmao
Got to love the California Delta.
Probably headed out this weekend. Maybe I will get into some of that action.
Hey I just relocated and will be doing some striper fishing this summer, what rod and reel set up do you guys use for fishing the rivers and backwaters?
Awesome Video! You guys ever use an MS Slammer for them?
Very entertaining, be interested to know what conditions you are looking for to target the fish however.

Christ! This is a better day of fishing than I’ve had all my life lol. Do u guys keep any of them? Stripers taste great
You guys should do a vid all about current. Like when fish will position in certain places and why
where did u launch i am going and just dont know a good launch
What kind of rods are you guys using? Thanks
Can you make more videos on secrets to catch stripe bass
Thats so cool you guys look like youre having a blast...
Tim got knocked off balance by one of those guys nice!!!!👊

That’s crazy fishing wish we had that here in the central coast
Hey, i have a question. Is this where saltwater and freshwater converge? I always thought the broken lines on a striper were considered some kind of hybrid? I'm looking to get a new reel during the fall/winter cause it's now deer season and fishing has been put on the back burner for a while and I wanted to save up some money for a new reel. What's your guy's opinion on Kastking or Abu Garcia?
Perfect Spot!!!! 🎣🎣🎣🎣 I can’t wait to go to Rodman Damn Florida or Better know as Lake Ocklawaha! Striper Land!
I fish beaver lake AR 3-5 days a week for striper. I love catching them dudes

Amazing job guys!!! Another awesome vid!

I purchased an S wavier after watching video, but when i real it close to the boat it is not kicking it stays leaning to one side. Is that normal or do i have a defective bait?

OH MY GOSH!! I WISH STRIPER FISHING WAS LIKE THIS AT MY LAKE!!!!
Glad the vids back up!
What a mess this morning!
🏆🏆 thank you Tim and Matt👏👏
What was Tim’s set up for the evergreen sb?
Are these striped bass in lakes in maine? Or is it only salt water
Where can striped Bass usually be found? I'm in the Midwest, gave family up north in MN.
