Can't wait to see it! If you guys know anyone in the Tennessee area that wants to record some epic topwater striper action, I know a hot spot in the winter time where the fish are all usually 20lbs plus.
Thanks. I enjoy your channel the most. It isn't just other TH-camrs getting sponsored and claiming this bait or that catches fish. Plus, they never leave their house and demonstrate! You show what does, the conditions, set up, rig, etc. that works. I've successfully fished with your tips. No double digit fish .... YET. Keep it up.
Could you do a vid on how to brake down and fish small bodies of water? Small as in 10-50 acres. Also what would you recommend for swinbaits up north in the Wisconsin area?
General Killshot swimbaits will work anywhere if used correctly. I'd size down though I wouldn't necessarily throw a giant Huddleston but an s-waver in medium size I'd recommend. But then I'm not tactical bassin just offering some advice from someone who has fished up north. You can start out with a cheaper swimbait as well the swing impact fat is a killer on a Matt Allen swimbait head. Storm makes some decent baits as well the Storm wildeye live crappie is great but replace the treble.
BNC gave you awesome advice. That S-Waver 168, the big keitechs on the swimbait head, and a few of the smaller swimbaits all work really well in Wisconsin. I've caught fish there on all the above. -Matt
Wish you guys could make a video on all striper gear that you guys like in preference, lures rods reels etc... love watching your videos we have stripers here in Prince Edward Island Canada like to see whats all out there for good equipment thanks
We fish all over. Sometimes topwater, other times we'll drop out and spoon the holes. Just keep an eye on the electronics to figure out where they are staging.
Hey U guys I was just wondering what that single jointed wake bait is that Tim was throwing in the very beginning of the video I didn’t see it in the description
Another GREAT video! Thanks for all the AWESOME videos you guys put out! Keep'em comin. Hey Matt what size swim jig were you guys throwing in this video?
Its amazing, these striper seem to shrink every time we go to the rig. My theory is that these fish (in tidal current) prefer to target a single bait they can hone in on. Who knows though...
+S.E. BassinYT Honestly, I would just buy what we currently have available (non DC) in the US. The Metanium MGL is INCREDIBLE and parts/service are widely available if you ever need it.
Nice video.. I have a fishing spot I'm about to film on my channel. 30-40 lb striper smashing baitfish at a mouth of a creek in only 2 ft of water, and I catch em on topwater.... I should have it up by Friday 10/25
Awesome!!Really enjoyed watching your video guys!!! I was out there yesterday (with 87 degree weather) and the bite almost was NON EXISTENT!..fished flats, ledges etc from central Delta to Antioch...what was the general area you guys fished in the video??
We ran all over and just focused on flooded islands. When it gets slick that bite gets TOUGH in a hurry. Best thing to do is switch to the spoon and look for schooling fish.
Been fishing the delta for 10 years and never knew i can throw a chartreuse color. smh. all this time i thought chartreuse is for clear water. Can someone clarify this for me please
Hey Matt I have a question man, I routinely fish the Striper during the fall run on the delta but I have a hard time figuring out when they move up. I start as early as August but mid-late October I have a hard time figuring out where they are at consistently. I was just wondering which Launch did you guys run out of? If you're uncomfortable with that which I understand which City atleast? Thanks in advance brother. I'm a early subscriber and love your content. I've been ripping toad stripper off your swim jig for years now.
That's awesome Marcus! To be honest, its a bit of a guessing game. We launch at B&W, Russo's, Discovery Bay, and Rio Vista all at different times. We experience the same thing you do. Those fish get really, really tricky. As a rule, when it starts turning cold there are ALWAYS monsters in Disco. They aren't always easy, but they're always there IMO.
So I'm Subscribed but the funny thing is I'm getting all this information for free from these 2 great guys and I don't pay anything for this free subscription it's like I'm cheating the system or something it's like they don't even know why doesnt everyone subscribe already know one will know
@@TheEastBayAnglers I know right. Scott Martin showed the alka seltzer piece in a creature bait like say a biffle bug or a rage craw with slit cut in it with piece tucked in nicely, then pitch onto a bed and watch what happens. Those bubbles make em mad. But oh well. There's all kind of little things you can do to get a little edge. I remember some angler from ocochobee talking about drilling holes in crank baits and filling with vegetable oil to get them deeper then anybody else had and catching alot of fish like that. You'll never figure out all the little tricks and "hacks"
Southern Ontario Fishing they're called VAPOR trails. Not some conspiracy theorists idea that the government is trying to poison or control us. FYI you shouldn't believe every video on TH-cam.
Thanks for the striper video, I would love to see more informative videos on striper from you guys.
Thanks
Joshua T Valley yes please
You're going to love the next one, they're about to get BIG

And make sure you don't use a soft body swimbait in a lake with northern Pike or musky I made that mistake. LoL
BNC Reptiles thanks
General Killshot absolutely.
BNC gave you awesome advice. That S-Waver 168, the big keitechs on the swimbait head, and a few of the smaller swimbaits all work really well in Wisconsin. I've caught fish there on all the above. -Matt
Haha Matt always controlling the front of the boat 😂💯
LOL
Awesome guys! I boated a 32# striper back in August on Beaver Lake on a Hudd! So much fun!
That's so awesome!!!
Thanks guys! Hey, I've recently started selling my own handmade baits, check them out on Facebook if you want at facebook.com/CooperB8s/
Nice striper. Man I miss catching them when they run upriver. Now I have caught many of them on giant swimbaits. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah buddy! Gotta love that swimbait bite!
Great video guys, it's great to see how much you truly enjoy fishing and I love the educational points. Keep it up!
Thanks Brandon!
Great video. Striper fishing is so much fun!
Thank you! You're going to love the next vid!
TacticalBassin Can't wait to see it.
THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS FOR FINALLY DOING A STRIPER BIG BAIT VID 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Oh Bud, you're going to LOVE the next vid!
Awesome! I love catching stripers. They dont stock them anymore in my home lake, they switched to hybrids. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Haha tim took off that weed guard off real quick
Another great video guys. The stripers in our Resivor are starting to crush top-water. Also caught my PB Smallmouth yesterday
That's awesome!!!
Nice video fellas. Was cool watching you guys fish for something different. Nice work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! You're going to love the next one!
Wish you guys could make a video on all striper gear that you guys like in preference, lures rods reels etc... love watching your videos we have stripers here in Prince Edward Island Canada like to see whats all out there for good equipment thanks
Great striper vid gents! Awesome channel and always informative.
Thank you! You're going to like the next one even better!
I felt a lil jealously from Tim when u caught that first Big striper!!! LOL.....Nice video...great catch!
Ha! Wait for the next vid... the jealousy ends :-)
TacticalBassin Lol..Weve all been there....I dont put it past YOU to catch a monster....cant wait to see it? Great videos and editing!!
Loving it! Thx guys. Going out in the morning.

Good luck Larry!!
You guys gotta make another Striper video, soon.
looks like Tim got a Matt Allen beat down haha good video as usual
Not for long... next video is going to be a killer :-)
love that spot...
where about are you guys fishing on the delta? im from oroville and want to plan a trip for this weekend. thanks guys!
🔥🔥absolutely awesome 👏 thanks
Many bloody fingers later I got a boga grip . I hope you guys get a chance this late fall to hook into some top water monsters.
We've got another video coming, we got them pretty good :-)
you guys make it look easy
Thanks Bud, you're going to really enjoy the next one.
Awesome video bud! Tight lines!
Thank you!
Thanks guys...I live in the land of Stripers...Lake Lanier in GA....spots too. Fun place to fish. Do you guys ever get out east?
Awesome! We sure do, actually writing this comment from Michigan.
Been following you guys for bit. Nice that you change the scenary to Strips. What depth do you guys prefer to fish Strips for?
We fish all over. Sometimes topwater, other times we'll drop out and spoon the holes. Just keep an eye on the electronics to figure out where they are staging.
Awesome videos guys. I was hoping to see you smack some stripers.
You're going to really enjoy the next one :-)
Hey U guys I was just wondering what that single jointed wake bait is that Tim was throwing in the very beginning of the video I didn’t see it in the description
which part of the delta is this?!
What hook size brand and split rings are a good match for the vision 110. Had a 5lbs stripper bend a hook out but still landed the fish.
This Split Ring in size 2: bit.ly/2v8ArBX and this hook in size 4: bit.ly/2dWWAut
I'd give a lot of things to have a day on the water like that catching stripers on lures. I'm going to keep trying though!
You can do it!!
Ate you searching for schools? I’m just learning how to target stripers on the delta with a fish finder
Good vid! How did you know to fish at what depth and whatnot?
There is no way you left before the evening Topwater... Nothing with fins are safe at sunset out there.
Another GREAT video! Thanks for all the AWESOME videos you guys put out! Keep'em comin. Hey Matt what size swim jig were you guys throwing in this video?
Great question, that's the 3/4 oz.
hey what part of the delta were you guys fishing
where did yall launch out of
Nice video, what was/is the water clarity like?
It varies from zero to 2 feet of vis
Great video!
Thank you!
Was a dc reel on the expride because you could tell from the sound
+Cole Felker Yep, discontinued model. The old Excence DC. Best replacement is the linked reel :-)
What split rings and hooks should I add to my slammers and spro rats?
This Split Ring in size 5... bit.ly/2aTH3f1 and this hook... bit.ly/2cWpeyw in size 1/0 or 2/0 depending on the size of the baits.
TacticalBassin thanks !
Nice hybrid stripers .
gonepostal1995 they arnt hybird stripers, only pure strain stripes out here in the cal. delta...
First 3:16 I've ever seen you guys use
Jeffrey Lancaster ?
I bet a A-rig would have really shine there.
Its amazing, these striper seem to shrink every time we go to the rig. My theory is that these fish (in tidal current) prefer to target a single bait they can hone in on. Who knows though...
Hey Matt. What was that reel that sounded like u had a digital chip
That was the discontinued version of the Excence DC
TacticalBassin Mann. I wanna buy one. What dc reel do u suggest
+S.E. BassinYT Honestly, I would just buy what we currently have available (non DC) in the US. The Metanium MGL is INCREDIBLE and parts/service are widely available if you ever need it.
TacticalBassin ok sick. Thank y’all so much for the help👊
Nice video.. I have a fishing spot I'm about to film on my channel. 30-40 lb striper smashing baitfish at a mouth of a creek in only 2 ft of water, and I catch em on topwater.... I should have it up by Friday 10/25
Where's that video at
What size split rings for the S-Waver 168 and 200?
Size 4 and Size 5
Awesome video. More stripper fishing please. Thank you
More to come
What was the bait on the first largemouth?
316 wake jr
What’s the gear ratio you guys are using on the Tranx?
The Slower, 5:1 ratio
TacticalBassin thanks...it’s been a grind swimbait fishing, but not giving up!!!more power to your channel!!
What dc reel were you using?
+Taylor Spraungel That's the older Excence DC
Where some of those fish Wipers? or do not all striped bass have perfect lines?
swissmochaj All stripers. There arent any white bass in the CA delta.
Those are all pure striper, straight ocean run fish.
TacticalBassin thanks for replying!! But what is your guys reasoning for focusing flooded islands?
What size of swim jig? Thanks
3/4 oz
Thank you
Been fishing the delta for 10 years and never knew i can throw a chartreuse color. smh. all this time i thought chartreuse is for clear water. Can someone clarify this for me please
what size swim jig is that your throwing?
3/4 oz

Is that a DC reel
Yes it is. Its a discontinued model
Nice!
Thanks for watching!
Ooohhhh a 3:16😉
Stoked On Toads shhh they don’t share those secrets.....
LOL we share all the secrets :-) That's what this is about. We don't throw much 3:16 but when we do you'll see it.
Yall order Jimmy Johns at 8:48?
What knots do you guys tie on those swimsuits when fishing for the MONSTER STRIPERS????????
Bass Slayers I'm not TB but I learned the best knot I've ever used by watching Matt on the tank video the San Diego jam knot. Never had it slip.
BNC nailed it, that's the knot to use. We've got a video tying it if you search tacticalbassin knots.
Dang Tim...Matt just smoked you.
Can you guys please make a video just for striped bass please
👊🏼
Chem trails.
Great info still waiting on you guys to do a video on straightening out swimbait tails with boiling water
We'll get there :-)
Not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping you'd snag a beaver
Bwahahahahaha
Anyone else wonder why the flip flops?
Always flip flops :-)
Why do so many people fish at night for these fish? Do they feed even more at night?
So I'm Subscribed but the funny thing is I'm getting all this information for free from these 2 great guys and I don't pay anything for this free subscription it's like I'm cheating the system or something it's like they don't even know why doesnt everyone subscribe already know one will know
The fishing Experience you can always donate lol
BNC Reptiles that right 1 thumbs up and like at a time
The fishing Experience I know right if I could I'd break the like button. They'd have more likes than anyone on TH-cam by the end of the day lol.
You guys are both awesome! We're just here to help, its our way of giving back to this awesome community of fishermen.

Do you guys have a PO box I make lures and would like to send one or two topwater baits
We do. That's really nice of you. If you really want to send something its Tacticalbassin PO Box 1240 Kelseyville, CA 95451
Cool I will make some and send them out I'm a little under the weather now but will make them when I get better
Lots of chemtrails that day...
Southern Ontario Fishing they're called VAPOR trails. Not some conspiracy theorists idea that the government is trying to poison or control us. FYI you shouldn't believe every video on TH-cam.
Are strippers good eating?
Strippers or Stripers?
LOL, striper are very good eating
