I've got intermittent ac blowing through vents on my 2017 Pilot. It'll blow for a bit and stop...sounds like it's still blowing but in dash. Blower motor still going too when that happens.
@@stangbang100 well start with air cuz without air it will be no use to figure out if ur ac systym is working or not so try checking fuse relay power ground
@@RBTheMechanic yes, air never stops blowing. It just doesn't blow out of the vents sometimes. When that happens the ac fan motor is still on which is weird.
RB I SCREWED UP. I did timing on Honda Pilot. Went to start truck . It started and I forgot to put crankshaft pulley bolt on. The pin flew out engine stop. I rest timing now I have misfiring in every cylinder and I check with camera the valve they all look ok and move in and out. Truck is misfiring and has shake. Check engine flash and truck drives has power still. Reason for timing poor circulation due to water pump failure. No fins completely destroyed
Ummm might have damaged the engine I would give it another attempt and check timing reset it and make sure no damage is where the pin is once u have confirmed timing is good no damages at crank key pin area and it’s not able to move around then i would see how the engine performances if it still got misfire u can check compression but mostlikely bad damaged valve
Compression on cold start Cylinder 1346 at 85 90 psi Cylinder 2-5 0 psi Misfire confirmed on all cylinders so I’ll start tearing down the engine today. Timing was accurate so I guess the pin flew out and timing went off bending valves 😢
@@RBTheMechanic If I take the valve covers off will I be able to see if something bent from there? I did a visual with the camera through the spark plug walls and rotated the engine. I didn’t see nothing wrong and the valves were moving up and down with the piston. I’m thinking a spring broke somewhere because I heard a loud noise after the rest somewhere under the valve cover that I thought was a spring
Thanks old pro. Looks easy when you do it.
It should be easy!!!
Very good thanks
Thank you too!
Is it the same for a 2020 CR-V???
Yup
Does not apply to 2019 EX model.

Ac or air?
@@RBTheMechanic air/air conditioned air.

2018 already broken?
It’s show and tell video just a demonstration
