A fish rots from the head. Until we have a president who is not corrupt, only then we will get rid of corruption.

This episode was very key in making us see how the ruling party is so corrupt and very inept lately...

Government could have given each individual in South Africa R 1 000 000 to open a business, go to college, etc etc... and that collective value would not even scratch the surface of the amount of money government has stolen from its people! I think it's time government starts giving back! Nkandla alone with all its security upgrades could have changed so many poor lives!

I can not understand how a comment can be made "the IQ is not high of these people"...I have watched this and enjoyed it and overjoyed by the well spoken Black people who speak English much better than Whites who think they are superior. I am a White South African living in England. I pray for the multitude of good Black people whom I have grown up with and the Whites who understand them.

When we take our car for a service we want to know exactly what was done, if I am paying for a new oil filter then I want to know that a new one has been fitted, I am paying for a service and it is my right to know what I'm getting...
The same thing should be done with our tax money! I want complete transparency to see exactly what is being done and how much is being collected and spent in different areas... When buying a new car, for example, we pay an eco-tax, now apparently it is for the environment yet I fail to see how this money is being used for the environment in any way! it's just a way to collect more taxes from people to make up for the deficit in funds that are lost due to corruption!
I work hard for my money and feel like I am working to pay for a government and large companies that steal it rather than work for it, yet I am the criminal if my taxes aren't up to date

So many loopholes that allow these people to get away with it. At the moment my mother, a pensioner is being targeted by a building administrator who has fancy lawyers and I also working with the Standard Bank to try and steal my parents flat: where do we get the money to fight this case when my mother is a pensionier? The building administrator keeps on inflating what we owe. Initially Mr van der Bos said we were owing R2000, then when we challenged the, he said we are owing R15 000 then when we handed the matter all to the lawyers now we owe R99 000! We are fighting this in the high court, because van der Bos has some lower level judges he is bribing. This is what you go through as a whistleblower!

Good questions all. But at this late late time it all pales in the light of the recent Gupta emails. So I guess the private sector isn't the big bad wolf after all.

Every one in that room is a potential corrupter so your turn to be discussed or caught is yet to come. Stop pointing fingers at the government as if thats where corruption is happening. Corruption comes in different magnitudes depending on the corrupter's societal rank.
