This is a fun temple to see. It’s built in the Bayon style but smaller than others in the area. It’s near one of the best temples in Angkor. If you want to see it here is the video. You can see some of the wooden Royal Palace carving at Angkor wat or Angkor thom wall. I bet is beautiful carve. Is doesn’t really look that different then the present one.
I have seen the carvings at Angkor Wat but I didn’t see the old royal palace one. The carving is massive and really amazing. I filmed part of it in my Angkor Wat video from last years trip. I’m not sure where the carving would be in Angkor Thom. I would like to see it though. Here is the Angkor wat video. I show the carvings towards the end. @@SirNova2o9 I will have to look for it when I visit it again. The carving at Bayon that stands out to me the most is the naval battle on the Tonle Sap. Thinking of a naval battle on this lake near Angkor is fascinating.
