Wonderful video I am your fan and thank for your share our country to the world ! I am PhiromWalker
I had a chance to visit this historical with my family way back in late 60s. The town was very quiet and peaceful with a few tourists and hotels so we had to stay at the Budhist temple around the area. Only memory lives on. There were mostly dirt roads around town and most of the temple complex remained wild and natural with many forest in the surroundings . Most of my family members did not survive the genocide under Pol Pot killing machine. Be mindful. Be kind whenever possible as life is short to do the things we don't love doing. Happy travels from a genocide survivor ✌️
Wow that’s a sad story. I can imagine it looked very different back then. Heard many people were hiding inside the ruins during the Khmer Rouge regime
Just found your vid. Thank you so much for sharing such a fantastic information.❤❤❤
Siem reap is such an amazing place to vist. In my opinion i think it's the best place in southeast asia. Love this video!
Welcome to Cambodia ❤
This VDO is full of information I want to explore more about Siem Reap, as I am Cambodian myself I didn't have a chance to explore as you did xD
it`s so good to see a well made video, thanks so much, you are the best ones to explain all details about the differents places you visited. One more fan!
Glad to hear that! We try to make them as informative as possible so it helps others ☺️
Thanks for help to promote Cambodia 🇰🇭
Our pleasure! Great country!!
I found Ta Phrom very spectacular. It's a beautiful temple where nature and architecture meets.
After my trip to cambodia and vietnam, I think I've seen enough temples for the rest of my life 😂 We've visited temples all across the country, even some where the native cambodians go to.
Haha yeah I can imagine!
❤❤👍
The weather is so nice right now guys come visit!!!
the dry season has officially begun!
น่าไปเที่ยวมากๆ
Absolutely!
Thank you so much ☺️☺️🤗
Thank you for loving it, we appreciate that.❤
What a great video! Our (my wife and I) next destination will be Cambodia in January so this video was so helpful to us! We are travelling in a slow mode. We also do videos for TH-cam and work remotely. Seems like you had drivers and did tours but, do you think a scooter rental will be worthy do get to the far destinations like Angkor temple or to the mountains?
I just subscribed to your channel, there are so many interesting videos!! 😊
Thank you! Yes it’s possible to rent a scooter and visit a few of these places independently. Just keep in mind that there are many dirt roads. The mountain road was pretty crazy (full of potholes and very muddy) when we visited. Would’ve been dangerous by scooter to go up and down. Maybe dry season is better though but definitely ask locals before you go
Thanks for good information!
Thanks! 🤩
first 💋💚💚
I been watching all I can about SR in videos because I would love to retire there ! -- It's simply a beautiful city loaded with good food super friendly people some 20K expats from several countries and never any cold weather. Just about everything needed for a very comfortable retirement & for a very low cost of living ! > Thanks for sharing your experience.
Have you ever been to Siem Reap? Minimum one month...
This video shows only one side of the coin.
@@supersaxel3064 No I haven't -- but "this video" is only one of dozens I have watched and by numerous people who have lived there for years - not 1 month. --?-- Very curious what 'your video' shows as the other side of '''the coin''' - ??? - what might that be if you don't mind ?
Thank you for the video. I have about 4 days for SM. I am going to try and do these:
See the Ruin of War at the Land Mine Museum
Angkor Watt Temples
Shudder at Relics of Human Cruelty in Wat Thmei
Pub Street
Quad Bike Countryside Tour
Kulen Nature Trails
Some of these (Pub Street, Kulen Angkor Watt) are in your video.
Do you think this is doable in four days? I think the Lande Mine and Walt Thimei can be done together.
Yes four days should be fine then. Kulen is more of a day trip. Angkor Wat as well. I assume the quad bike would also be a longer tour,. So that leaves you with the museum and wat thmei for the last day. Any of your evenings you can go visit Pub Street and have a drink / dinner
Los subtitulos no dejan ver el video
Wow the rats are huge. Cats would be scared by them.
Hahah yeah they are so big!
Video made for the TH-cam audience... I have been a resident since 2013, and after the difficult years of covid and streets work, the city is having a hard time getting back on track...
Is there anything I have to keep cautious of?
No it's a great place @@quangphaminh843
Hi, if you only have 2 1/2 days to spend in Siem Reap, which tourist attractions would you visit? Thank you for sharing this video, it’s gonna be a big help for me when I visit Cambodia in January 😊
At least 1 full day at Angkor Wat! It’s incredible. Then maybe APOPO and the town markets, pub street, and a tour to either the floating village or phnom kulen
i would want to see as many temples as possible and eat lots of food, but to each their own. phnom kulen looked unimpressive to me compared to other national parks ive been to, but i havent gone there
Hi sir, What kind of vehicle did you rent in Siem Reap, can you give me information because this December I will be there.
We didn't rent any vehicle. We hired a tuk tuk driver who drove us to the temples and the places near Siem Reap. In the city itself, we walked to most places. And to Phnom Kulen we did a day tour so there was a bus transportation included. You can find more details in the description below the video
Too many tourists.
Another place spoiled by social media and travel influencers.
Sgould cost more to get there, so that mass tourism gets defeated.
How do you feel in Siem reap?
Before foreigners came into this land Cambodia is a province of Siam. Since ancient times, Cambodia has been a province in Siam. Until foreigners came and squeezed out Cambodia. and Siam ceded this province to France Finally, France took this province. To establish a new country.
