Happy Birthday! Now I want to make a similar list for my next birthday. My childhood books were Robinson Crusoe, Swiss Family Robinson, Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising series, then Tolkien, Robert Jordan, Stephen King. I think I'd probably also include Starless Sea from recent books. Loved that one!
