I just added a few of these to my list! A few fantasy books I'm looking forward to next year that weren't mentioned: Hammajang Luck by Makana Yamamoto Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafo Needy Little Things by Channelle Desamours Black Woods, Blue Sky by Eowyn Ivey Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven Fable for the End of the World by Ava Reid Go Luck Yourself by Sara Raasch Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins Lore Olympus Vol 8 by Rachel Smythe Anji Kills a King by Evan Leikam
(Really popular ones) I'm excited for sunrise on the reaping because i've been a Hunger Games fan since i was like 7, and I'm also excited for Fearless in the powerless trilogy because that series has been great so far, Onyx Storm is another, and Watch me because I loved James in the shatter me series.
Thanks so much for your content this year Grace! It always makes me happy to see when you have a new video up! I have two books i’m very excited for next year. The Baby Dragon Cafe by Aamna Qureshi which is about a woman running a baby dragon cafe but she finds out baby dragons are trouble, I sometimes like to pair a play of a boardgame I like with a book I’m reading (to immerse myself in that world) and I’m sensing major Flanecraft vibes here 🐲🔥 ☕️. Also, the writer is Pakistani American so yay for some more cozy BIPOC representation on our shelves! My second anticipated book is A Letter to The Lonesome Shore, the sequel to A Letter To The Luminous Deep. I had a baby this year and I started reading A Letter To The Luminous Deep just before I went into labour and it was like living in my head through the whole process 😅 I was thinking about it, which is I think a testament to how great it was. I couldn’t wait to get home with my son and finish the book. I found the writing style so lovely and also the representation of anxiety felt super authentic and true to my own experience, to see that in a book meant a lot to me. 💕
Oooh wow can't wait to read Drop of Corruption! I'm probably most excited for The Undercutting of Rosie and Adam! Fingers crossed I won't be betrayed 🤞
So many new things to put on my list! Does anyone know if Robert Jackson Bennett Was inspired by attack on titan at all? When i first heard about The Tainted Cup, the world reminded me of aot a fair bit! I cant wait to read it and now also A Drop Of Corruption!
I'm gonna need to keep an eye out for Lightfall, I love vampires and I've been craving a good epic fantasy for a while
