It seems to me, the more advanced the technology gets on cars, the more difficult it is to resolve simple issues…

I will never understand why Manufacturers were not forced to put a warning on the dash to tell people the regen was under way. I can only tell my Gen10 Civic is doing one as I hear a deeper note to the engine and the instant mpg drops.

What diagnostics brand and model is it that you're using in this video?

Did you attempt a regeneration afterwards as I've had one of these today with the same issue but would not do a regeneration, the ecu took the command and idle went up to 1200 rpm but the exhaust temps would not rise like it was waiting for a perimeter to be met, this was before and after flushing the dpf.

the fault was a bad map, after it was corrected it did its own regen

Was the issue an Adblue delete?

    • @MobileDpfCleaning
      @MobileDpfCleaning 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@MykaRoze it was a wrong perimeter set when the adblue delete was applied, basically an unreachable target perimeter before regeneration would start.

How did they correct the problem? I'm having a similar issue on my Mercedes E class coupe w238 version

@@MykaRoze it was sent to another re mapper who rectified it in the software I think it was to do with atmospheric pressure data which had been changed.

Can I ask did you take out the air flow sensor before you put the fluid in to stop the egr cooler working . Or any pipes off

When you have finished a clean on a dpf and you tell the ecu that the dpf has been replaced. What does that achieve? Does it have to recalculate the ash that isnt removed? If you do the clean but don't tell the ecu the dpf has been replaced what would happen? Thanks. Love the videos

Maybe the reason it’s getting too hot is that it’s trying to regenerate at idle, there’s no airflow over the DPF?

That car is going to come back to you. Same problem on mine (same car/engine). When the fill level reaches 100% it should do an active regen, but it doesn't.
I've cleaned the dpf and reset it but it still will not do an active regen.

Can't see no reason why it wouldn't reach temperature unless the filter is damaged?
If it comes back I'll video the resolution 👍🏻

I have the same car what is the best solution if I don't have the launch gun

What way did you clean it, I have the same car engine and will stay off for few weeks then light back on

@markreid1587 I used Wynnes. Took the pipe off and poured a couple of litres in using a small funnel. Left it for an hour and revved it until it was clean.
About 100 miles later driving about town it went past 100% and kept going without attempting to regen. About 50 miles after that it reached 130% and the EML came on.
Had it into Merc and they're just throwing parts at it.
Next thing will just need to be a delete.
