    At this rate your going to put a lot of garages out of business , especially now your featuring your business on here. Which I might add is very helpful.

      The world is full of diesels that people bought for the school run. Garages should be more worried about electric stuff.

    Another cleaner diesel Jimmy, well done 👏 ✔️, a friend of mine , (same job as us ) had a customer who left his landrover defender td5 tdci , on idle overnight , he forgot it was outside running 😂😂😂, following morning went outside , still idling ,but no power , we cleaned the dpf as you do , all sorted ,how can you leave any defender running for over 14 hours and it still be there 😂😂😂

      The biggest surprise is that it didn't clean the DPF running for that long.

    Would be an interesting experiment, to clear stubborn codes logged on the system after a repair, to unplug the battery, and touch both terminals to discharge the system. Better to avoid doing that in some cars, that have more than one battery.

    I dont understand this video, with that % of shoot value, delete errors, just put fuel and go to the highway for half an hour, it will regenerate by itself

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      It won't regenerate by just clearing the faults the error comes back soon after clearing

    • @thindo
      @thindo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      No it won't... Once the fault is logged into the system you are screwed... It won't allow a Regen and your engine is restricted until the fault is cleared... Watch the previous videos and you will understand

    • @ferrumignis
      @ferrumignis 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BeerBellyBoy FYI Adblue is only for NOx reduction, not for the particulate filter. Eolys fluid is injected into the exhaust on some cars to lower the temperature required to regenerate the DPF.

      1) chemicals are not enogh to get rid of ash and make best passage in the tiny channels.
      2) all this crap is flowing through silencers having an impact on fillment
      3) pool of sludge in the random place is just environment contamination and possibly public waste/drain infrastructure too
      4) easy money to put a pipe in a hole without effort of a thought that some of that remainings are driven through egr back to engine intake.
      5) dpf stuff are serious topics. where is the report on how much exhaust flow is improved? (delta mbar/psi) we don't know.
      6) this is a shortcut and ommitment of proffesional approach for uneducated clients.
      not hating. just being objective as an automotive person. probably good earning for your company but very little good longterm-wise for those dpfs.

      @@KoproIilypressure cleaning aftrer removal with full pressure difference check (in & out) - that's common procedure on the "main land". spewing magic fluid and running it through exhaust is not the way certainly. sometimes there is also nothing to work with and you have to buy a new dpf.cars are sophisticated nowadays but we all should know how to diagnose them and what method is the real cure.
