- Hey yall! Here's how I achieve my mini twists, any moisturizer and creme combo can achieve these fluffy, soft results. Products are listed below.

HEY LADIES! Thank you for tuning in and subscribing! Just checking in to answer some FAQs and a few notes.
1. I do a voiceover in this video explaining a few things. Just in case you’re listening with no sound.
2. My hair was damp, but I did spray with water as needed.
3. The process took about 3 1/2-4 hours, and I wore the twists for 3-4 weeks. I did wash the twists as well.
4. I start each twist off with a braid to help them last longer and lay easily. I also used the brick laying method for my parts, this helps with fullness and a natural fall of the twists as well.
5. Any styling products work as long as they are moisturizing, it is a protective style after all.
6. Lastly, my glasses are from EyeBuyDirect 🤓.

How do you tie your hair down at night? I like how your twists are still lengthy and haven’t shrunken up as much😍
Most nights I just put them in a bonnet and spray lightly with water in the mornings.

Your twists are perfect!! I love that length, mine hang down my back, I wish they would shrink up. Maybe I should try twisting on soak and wet freshly washed hair
TamikasWorld Thank You! And Definitely Try Doing Them Soaking Wet. They Will Shrink As They Dry.
You can also spray them when done twisting. They should still shrink nicely. At least, that's what happens with mine.
My hair is long as well. I did this style and wanted them to fall at my shoulder like hers does instead of down my back so I rolled them in the smallest perm rods(red) and it’s perfect. Stops right where I want them. I love them🥰💞😍

You can do it on short hair also, I found this video because I was looking for tutorials for short hair. There are a few vids on here with short twists which look good. Gonna attempt this, this weekend on short hair.

Mines either I'm thin in the front so it has grown since on quarantine bc this is all I've done the last 6 months. If your stuck in might as well. Its healthier and low maintenance. With it being winter I just keep my silk scarf on and a hat when I go out and I run freely when home. My front has thickened up and everything.

You Can Do It On Stretched Hair Instead, Or Try The Band Method To Stretch Your Twists.

I like how you divided your hair. My problem is parts are messy and twist are uneven. It seem you are using a pyramid way of setting up your twist so they will look full and less spacious. I'm going to try your technique and see what it do.

It’s been 7 damn months and I have not had braids in for a long time quarantine got me washing my hair every 2 weeks, and all doing styles, wash n go etc it’s getting easier and a lot more tolerable but when school starts back and I need braids I’m really hoping my hair won’t fall out since it’s never been In braids for so long

No babe, you just have to be extra patient when you take them out. Start from the bottom and use African pride pre-poo which melts all the tangles away. That stuff is amaze balls!!

Jordan Harris Do Them On Blown Out Or Damp Hair. And There Are Stretching Techniques Out There. I Personally Embrace Shrinkage, It’s Apart Of The Beauty Of Curly Textures.

They Pretty Much Stayed In Tact. I Did Retwist A Few Over Time Though.
