Get fenugreek seeds. After about 3 days of drinking the water (I made tea w. 2 table spoons of seeds & poured boiling water n my mug & put sum honey, 'cuz they taste bitter the more u leave them n water. Then added water the next couple of days & drank that), I noticed my hair was a bit thicker. It has been like a week & a half or 2 weeks of me drinking it on & off & people keep complimenting my hurr... 😍😍😍
Same. My hair is too thin and I have big gaps in the back.
I wish i didn’t have so much shrinkage for this style. I’d have to do it on dry hair and i prefer damp hair to work with

When I would do mine I would procrastinate 🤣🤣🤣🤣 then get tired and stop parting and taking my time... it was a hot ass mess.

This a favorite of mine ! I literally do mini twists so I don’t have to touch my hair for a week of more. I would wash my hair in the twists and retwist them for another week or more. So convenient. You’re so cute 😍😍😍💛

I did my twists a few days ago and it looks five years old already. It looked a couple months old when I finished twisting it. Explain how it never works for me but everyone else looks flawless lol😂

I literally always wear my hair like this either a side part on left or right and you can wear it down, put it on a pony tail, do a half up half down, space buns, half up half down with a bun/space buns/pig tail. It’s such a great way for a protective style and your hair looks so juicy and beautiful. I never stretch mine because I don’t care if my hair shrinkage and I am happy because that means I have my 4C curl pattern, and that I’m lazy too lol.❤️
Well damn. I was contemplating on getting some braids installed, but who needs braids when your natural hair looks this good! U did a great job!!
I just want to thank you for actually showing us your process of installing your mini twists. It aggravates me when I'm watching tutorial/how-to hair videos that either don't provide any true instruction on how to do whatever the video is suppose to entail or instruction is given without actually showing how to do what is instructed (this a major pet peeve for me). I am a visual learner, so this video helped me a lot with seeing how to install my twists in the manner in which I always try to achieve but cannot (I like to be able to style my mini twists after installing them, but usually end up not being able to because of parting issues when I install them). I subscribed to your channel simply because I was able to follow what you were doing as you did it (I could also pause the video for greater detail when you were parting and twisting). Thank you again. I wish more TH-camrs with hair tutorial/how-to videos would create videos like you do!
I’ve never wore my mini twist out.. normal I twist it to wear it up in a bun🙄 IKR! But this is soooo cute.. I will def try this.. thank you for the hair-spiration ❤️

LavishlyBritt ugh, I completely agree. I’m expecting baby #2 September so I either do it before then or... maybe I’ll do it before then. Adds so many hours to wash day working with these 2 textures I may not have the time once she’s born! Also don’t have a hair plan yet for the delivery (other than bringing a satin pillow case to the hospital, duh).
Recently discovered this AMAZING app (recommended by Power in your Curls) and I put in a random date for big chop but it’s like next summer.
I’m rambling, you’re right! Gonna discuss with my husband and agree to a date pre September 15th!

Mine wasn’t either. This time I tried my leave in then cream then oil (Naptural 85 special blend but I made my own) then gel on each twist. It’s so moisturized and bouncy! I love it.
I've almost got it but I wish in these videos they wld say how many rows they did and how many twists in each. I think that will help me.

@@_CMm hey Mamas. Maybe if you twist the very ends of your braids, youll be prone to less breakage. Be gentle and make sure they're extra moisturized. It shouldn't break your hair, it's a great hairstyle/protecrive style for natural hair.
Aside from that rock braid outs/twist outs, and high puffs :) My hair is still not long enough for anything else lmao. Or just throw in single braids or crochet

Neisy Good you can do it on stretched hair and use the melanin twist elongating cream to prevent any shrinkage
I did mine on blow dried hair. I just tried to not revert my hair completely back to curly when applying my products
You can always band it to stretch it out or wear in a bun
It will shrink. But it will look mad cute dont worry about that love 💕

This is a great hairstyle. I used to do this for years and it works. I am currently wearing crochet twists using water wave hair. I like to color my hair so I've stopped getting a relaxer for a year. I just wear the twists while my hair grows and add black castor oils (Jamaican Lime company version and original one) and Doo gro.

Definitely give it another try. You got to play around with the sizing to find what you like. Try out sizes when you start and give them a few minutes so when they puff up you can see more of the true size.

I’ve done this on my hair twice and I have 4c hair and it looked decent ig. My hair is not dense and I even have bald spots near my edges but it got concealed. The twist will shrink if u do it on wet hair that’s why I blow dry mine

Yea that mielle is good I use mielle twisting cream for my two strand twists or the mielle curl smoothie both make my hair thicker and shiny the compliments I get on my twist😍😍

Great minds must think alike because I put in some mini twists yesterday. I wish I could say it took me 4 hours but I did mine extra small so it took 7 hours. They're definitely going to last me a couple weeks though. Yours look super cute😍.
