I always braid the roots before twisting on freshly washed and conditioned hair too 😊 love it ❤ I'll try putting moose on next time. I braid my twist together in about 5 sections overnight, that really helps stretch them !

Most likely you sleep more on one side than the other, thus, more blood circulation and more growth.
