*ABOUT THAT SAVE GAME GLITCH:* Sometimes Covert won't save your progress after a mission (forcing you to replay from the last checkpoint in the previous mission) - so always make sure to start the next level and play for a few minutes until you see a "Saving" notification. Losing 10-20 minutes of progress can really ruin a good time.

Nice review Bryan, I’m glad this has the option of playing over the internet, something that would have been nice for the persistence
Agreed, having to be in the same room for The Persistence basically killed any chance I had for really enjoying that app. :D
Looks really interesting, would be great to play with a friend who may feel motion sick from VR but still wants to be involved in a game.
This is a definite buy for me. I love co-op games like this. Keep talking is still one of my favourites, and the extra 2 player puzzles in Statik were great fun
There's some wire-cutting stuff in Covert that feels like it was ripped straight out of Keep Talking. Way easier than KTANE but still lots of fun! :D
Don't mean to be late to the party, but Statik has 2P puzzles? Did they patch those in? I don't recall that being a thing at all...
@@POOKISTAN There are co op puzzles, the second player uses the playstation app second screen thing if I remember correctly. There are some good extra puzzles if you enjoyed the main game 👍🏻
hi Bryan ive only had my VR for about three weeks, love the channel great work, i struggle to play "flat" games now, and have been watching your videos trying to catch up with whats new and old in the PS4 VR world, also subbed to davestation and psvr underground, and love when you three release a video chatting about VR, massive respect to the VR posse :)

The fact that another player uses an app to help on a PSVR games is very interesting. I might get it. :) I have a few friends who don't have PSVR, though. So I am also hoping for a PC release. This will make sure that I can be the hacker as well.
Looks amazing! Love this type of games. Hope it gets released in Europe soon. I was seeing your review and planning on getting it but seems like its currently US only.
Wow, I'm pretty impressed this is 4 hours long. I though for sure it would be a 60 to 90 minute mini game. Great review, I'm anxious to see if my wife will be my wingman. 😂
The press release calls it 6 hours, which is really unlikely even if you take your time. Even 4 hours might be pushing it...

Adam Parlette you cannot find random people to play with, you need to send someone the server code that you see on your headset. You could probably find someone to play with on the psvr without parole discord. There are always people playing and looking for games there.
Came to look this up after we got Operation: Tango on psplus. It looks a lot like it didn't get an EU release. No idea why.
For the older iPhone issue you mentioned, is the iOS up-to-date on that device?
This looks exactly like my type of game. Always happy to find PS4 / smart phone stuff my girlfriend can play with me. Instant buy!

Covert is scheduled to hit EU/UK "later this year." We always recommend making an NA account so you never have to wait for games to hit your region. :D

Where do you live? Covert is out in NA but the devs just said on Twitter yesterday that the EU release will be "later this year" unfortunately...

Bonfire was voiced by the famous actress Ali Wong. Im sure if it was her they would have definitely mentioned it to sell this game like they did with bonfire. TH-cam Ali Wong bonfire vr
VR DEMON hah good point I’d forgotten that Bonfire used someone famous. I don’t know actors or actresses or who Ali Wong even is - but you’re right, they would have made a big deal about that. 😃

What, is there no way to play this with just the Playstation? That seems ridiculous... Other co-op VR games present the alternate image on the screen for the other player, why MUST a phone be used to play this game?
Yes the non-VR gamer needs a phone/tablet.
For me, I search Covert on the ps store and it doesn't come up?
It's not out in EU yet, if that helps. Developer White Elk has only said "later this year."

Just start the game with both Move controllers turned on (and the DualShock4 turned off) and you should be fine. But I'm assuming you probably tried that already? :D

Hey Ethan. As long as you have an internet connection, you can use the companion app from anywhere. I played here in Massachusetts with AJ (in Atlanta) and Dave (in Orlando) so it's pretty versatile. :D

Probably a regional thing - I don't think a lot of places outside the States got Covert unfortunately. That said it's really easy to create a North American account and get the games you missed out on! :D

Is it me or are most vr games at the moment very unwhelming. When is Sniper Elite going to be released?
Rebellion will only say that Sniper Elite VR is coming sometime in 2020, so they're not ready for a release date yet.
