My sevens league team had a lineman with daughntless, mighty blow. Became my big guy hunter with 4 big guy casualties including a death(yeti). Was fun as hell being a bash/dash hybrid.

I’m trying to create a big guy secondary star player specific skill set. So far I have 3 so rolls would be:
1-2) mighty blow +2
3-4) friendly (+1 to loner rolls)
5-6) ??? (Once per game they can they can reroll a failed negatrait /activation roll (bonehead, animal savagery, really stupid, unchannelled fury, take root)
The best name for the last one is trained but there are already trained trolls, Minotaurs, etc

My other ideas based on throw team mates but not all players/teams have that. Mostly giving rerolls.

I like the Combat 4 roster, as it gets people a chance to feel of what a Bretonnian team was like in 2016. Sure the Blitzers no longer have Dauntless, and the Yeomen (Bodyguards) now have Stand Firm, but other than those two changes, (well Bretonnian could take 0-4 Blitzers in 11's) everything else is the same for stats (except for the passing stat) and skills on the three positionals that you could take on a Bretonnian Roster.

I like 2 blitzers, 1 ogre and 1 bodyguard. Being a tier 2 team you can often take leader on a Blitzer as a secondary and then I go dodge and tackle on the second blitzer and bodyguard respectively.

Agree. I’ve run this roster (2B,1O,1BG, 3L) and had a lot of joy! Let the blitzers ball-carry. Stand firm / wrestle along with the Ogre is very handy in both attack and defence. Let’s the blitzers stay loose. The thrower’s not that useful.

I think you can do a fun mix of everything with an Ogre, a Blitzer, a Bodyguard, and a Thrower with 3 Linemen and a Desperate Measure, which comes out to 595k (or the fourth Lineman, but the DM is more fun). Dodge on the Blitzer, Tackle on the Bodyguard, and Leader or Sure Hands on the Thrower and you've got a pretty nice mix!

Isnt it very risky to only play With 7 players in case injuries happen?
