    What an outro! ;)
    After more thinking, I believe this team is not that bad : they will definitely be the underdog compared to the human, but mainly because of their price.
    In a league, once they have a full roster, having 2 ST3 blodge pieces and 4guard/mb will be interesting !
    Damn I still don't know who I want to play in league in BB3 among the 12 teams, Imperial Nobility could be a good challenge ! (easier choice for TT, no need to wait for DLCs)

      Hahaha, not entirely sure how that happened but- edited! Thanks for the heads up!!
      Yeah, definitely Underdog - but not Khemri/Nurgle level!
      In BB3? Start at the top and work your way down!!

    These in depth breakdowns are great but you’re assuming a lot of your audience (by which I mean me). If the graphics could include the stat line and the skills the positional comes with it’d make it a lot easier to think along with you. Keep up the good work.

    In a blood bowl leak for this summer. Trying out the nobles.
    Thanks for the tips on how to build these guys. I was lizard been last time and I left what skills I got completely too random for more skills and just cheaper.
    This time around I think I will save for proper skills for the consistency,

    Ya stand firm is pretty good, but I couldn't believe how much work my heftys fend was puttin in, in my last norse halfling game I lost with zug instead of morg, against frenzy anyway?

    was just thinking.. if you do team development for necromantic
    WW’s are another one of the few players in BB that can benefit from any stat up
    MV? Great. AG? Amazing. ST imo the best stat player in the game is 4ST WW. AV? WW’s get hunted by opposition at every opportunity.
    If you don’t need any of those, secondary skills galore:
    MB
    The new break tackle
    Hell even a HMP wolf would be fun

      even nerves of steel could be handy for crazy handoffs

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Cooper! I hope you preordered that Necro team haha :D
      But you are so so right!! They're up there with the just-plain-best-statlines in the game!! so boosting that further can't be bad!

    Looking at Break tackle since you mentioned it here and on the a black orc team for the goblins there. It specifically states Strength 4 get a +1 and Strength 5 get a +2. Unless you have a strength up on the Blitzer or 2 Strength ups on a goblin Break tackle is useless.

    Have you tried Dauntless Lineman? :D Is there any point of taking one of those down the line.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, Dauntless isn't too bad as a random skill up on a Lino! But it will only come up *if* you've got a target, and then without any combat skills it's just a risky 1 or -2 die block!! I love the bravery though haha

    • @CrippledFapper
      @CrippledFapper 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BoneheadPodcast One of my linemen has fitting background story for Dauntless tho so I might be bound to pick it, if he ever gets a level up :D Or he might die in the process of training to punch big guys. There is alot of STR4/5 in the league thats just starting, so it might even work :D

    The Bodyguards are interesting. I did with them what i always did with Brets.
    2 With Tackle, Frenzy, Jump up*, Diving Tackle, +MV or other Stats (if possible)
    2 With Guard, Dodge*, Mighty blow
    The rest of the line is for the Peasants to hold, and for the Ogre nowadays.

    • @BoneheadPodcast

      Oof, Wrestle Tackle Frenzy Bodyguards!! *Love* that!!
      I'm testing a couple with Block at the moment, to see how redundant it feels!

    How do you even score later on with 1500 tv o more with only two blitzers? Bretonnia did struggle but it was possible with 4 knights, but... i don't see this team doing that well. Either way with bad teams i find the best solution is to keep the TV as low as possible (skip the ogre and go for more fend-players). Get dirty player and start fouling. I guess it all depends on how you play but with Bretonnia i always went 4x knights and 8x Peasents and 3xRR, and then hopefully apo after the first game.

    Missed the combo of running pass and safe throw

  • @WoWisdeadtome
    @WoWisdeadtome 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This really feels to me like a re-worked Bretonnian list.
    Bretonnians would obviously not suffer the presence of an ogre but there are a lot of similarities otherwise. I don't remember seeing a Bretonnian list elsewhere in BB 2020?

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're bang on! Brets are gone, and this Nobility team has filled the void!
      2 Blitzers for an Ogre! I'd rather they'd had both ;)

  • @Mortechai

    So catch doesn't work with receiving a handoff because a hand off is not a pass. Receiving a handoff is a straight agility roll.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey NerdSteongTV!! That’s true of Diving Catch - but Catch allows you to refill a failed Catch test! And that’s from Passes, Hand-Offs, etc! 😁 much more useful skill!

    I really like the way you have looked at the imperial thrower, but I prefer to get dump off first. After that I get nerves of steal and dump off.

  • @farorbull1735

    You mentioned that the team has stand firm early on, which is wrong, they have fend, wrestle and block - makes them interesting to play.
    Been playing them with a friend and found the following:-
    - The thrower is interesting, will never throw long throws, it uses running pass for the distance; On the Ball is a strong skill for them as it works on a opp. pass and kick regardless of if they get in the path, Accurate is a must, if you want to go janky, consider hmp. MA+ with running pass is funny.
    - Blitzers are your best players, Dodge, Tackle and Diving Catch are all great skills.
    - The Linemen are awesome, Fend keeps people on the line and they will stick around.
    - Bodyguards can take down any ball carriers and break down cages, jump up is amazing, Dodge is great to keep them up. Certainly consider MA+.
    - Ogre is petty good in this team, save up for block if possible, certainly Brawler.

    • @Suiken44
      @Suiken44 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wrong. The Bodyguards start with Stand Firm and you can (and should) take 4 of them.

    • @farorbull1735
      @farorbull1735 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Suiken44 I stand corrected, had time to look at the book and Bodyguards do indeed have Stand firm, been playing them not as powerful as they should be - which is funny as I've been tieing with the coach that I've been practicing with for the new season with these.

  • @deckerCKY

    I think you need to consider random skills. On this team, Blitzers could do surprisingly well drawing random agility skills (sneaky git and sprint are the only real duds), and i think linemen should be taking random general (sure hands is the only real dud).
    I also think you are underestimating the surfing potential of a team with 4 stand firm positionals and fend linemen. Once a players ventures into the widezones, there will always be a legitimate surfing risk on this team.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, Bloodtithe (who is painting up our Nobility team) is very excited about random skills for this team as well!
      That's a very interesting point about surfing! Would you bump up any of the positionals to get Frenzy to help??

    • @deckerCKY
      @deckerCKY 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BoneheadPodcast couple options for frenzy in my mind:
      1. Drops randomly on a lineman.
      2. Second skill on a Blitzer after dodge (followed by side step).
      On a team loaded with stand firm and fend, which will quickly be loaded with guard, frenzy is a game-winning skill.
