Is big brakes a must with a 6inch cuz the prizes for them are expinsive
The rear end took us 15 minutes, the front took us 25.5 hours
Couldn't have said it better myself. Only one thing if you have the money change out the ball joints, A-arms wheel bearings and shocks. Stock parts will fail sooner or later.
If you don't have the money you can do it later one at a time, make all the suspension mods you're able to afford at the time you install the lift kit. Saves you a lot of time and effort from taking I apart again, work smarter not harder whenever possible.
Well said!
literally putting a lift in a buddy's truck this weekend. perfect timing for this video👌🏻
My trucks the thumbnail again. Love it 🤓❤️
Hey can’t beat a sharp truck!
This is by far your best performance since you started doing them. Keep this style going and I can dig it
doing my first lift kit at 17 on my 07 avalanche this helps a lot thanks!
You forgot to say to get it professionally aligned afterward. After messing with steering and suspension, its best to just take it to a laser alignment shop and have them dial it in perfect so that it steers straight enough you can let go of the wheel.
That is facts, anything steering or suspension related!
Yes sir another good one. Thanks for the knowledge guys. You never let us down.
🤘🤘
Just did a 5inch RC on my 18 GMC seirra last week. Great video, subscribed 👍
Great video well put together of what all goes into installing a lift kit the right way. You guys make it easy. Thanks for taking the time making this very helpful video. Saved
Thanks for watching!
your video is the best it explains what you guys do very nice i wish you guys wasn't so so far out from where i live
Really nice 👍 love the concept
I would like a before and after complete walk around with the truck you were working on.
What UCA would you recommend on a avalanche 7 inch rough country
I am looking to lift a 2024 F150 2Dr 6.5’ bed.
It seems to me that cutting the frame and bolting in diff drop brackets is not as strong as factory; also, no real performance increase, just taller.
Can I get a set of 2.5” coil overs to level the front, add new upper control arms and matching rear shocks, run a 33x12.5 on a 10” wide wheel and call it a day?
Wish it only took 8:38 to install a lift kit. Lol
Man that’d be nice eh!
@@CustomOffsetsTV facts!. But great outline of what needs to be done. You guys are GOATS 💯
If someone wanted to remove the front lift... is it able to be returned to factory spec or not because cutting was involved? TIA
How do the leaf springs hold up to those giant lift blocks? I have heard that if it is bigger than 1" you will run into spring wrap.
axle wrap can happen on a factory height truck and even lowered trucks, Hence the introduction to... Traction bars! Alleviates all of that!
Aren’t you supposed to tighten up those rear ubolt nuts up somewhat at the same time? Like snug on all before wrenching on it? Or am I just hearing things
I have a 11 suburban ltz I have plenty of weight on the back I want to lift the back up maybe 3-4 inches what can I put on it to get it lifted I have air shocks I took the factory air ride off but the air shocks tend to leak or if you hit a bump too hard they deflate
Might be best to look at helper bags honestly
Do you guys torque the lift kit bolts or just snug them good? I just installed a 4 inch rough country lift and I didn’t torque anything. Worried that might come back to bite me later. Should I worry?
just hand tighten.
Will the 6" RC lift fit a 2020 Silverado double cab with regular bed?
Yes it will
I’m assuming a 2wd lift would be much easier for front installation.
Don’t forget to tq to spec ofc.
Can you please help me i have a 2019 ram 2500 cummins i ordered a 5" rough country radius arm lift and the instructions are black and white and the pics suck can you help me find a installation video and how far will -51 offset 20×12 wheels stick out past my fenders on my truck
What are you stuck on? I can help you
Check out how far 12 wides stick out here www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery?make=Ram&model=2500&site=co&sort=yno&wheel_width_from=12.0
I havnt started to assembel my lift yet i was just trying to fond a video ots easier to watch a video cause i will rember better than written black and white directions
This is useful information, I really hope a company can make a lift kit for an suv, I want to lift my 2nd gen explorer 2wd but I haven’t found 4inch spindle for my “truck” since they don’t make 4wd spindles, so far I’ve found just factory size which I don’t want.
My lift kit included nothing but a BDS 2" leveling kit. Put 37's on it and FOX 2.0 shocks then called it a day.
Must be nice 😅 I’m rubbing with 31.5” on the new ranger
Can @Custom Offsets add a category for Anylevel on the gallery? would be baller if they did
We dont get many if any added sadly :(
do anyone know how long time it takes to install a 6 in lift kit on a 2007 Silverado?
Depends on your experience.
About a week
That truck neede fluid film more than a lift! Lol
Damn that SILVERAYDOH is rusty...not a spec on my O4 4x4 1500...i think it does have that similar lift though..keep the vids comin fellas!! Let's Go Brandon!! Thats 'Merica right there!!
Buddy should have fixed his taillight as well lol looks dope tho
Yea man This is my truck I’m saving up for the tail light Im still in highschool yet so I used my summer paychecks for the build
So, Banker, how long did this lift kit take to install?
Totally 1-2 days
48 plus hours
100 beer
interesting
Do lift kits void factory warranty or only the suspension part of it ?
You guys can read minds. I have been waiting on a video like this so that I know how to lift my truck.
Do you do installation of lift kits?
We do not for the public anymore.
That sucks, I’m disabled and can’t do it myself
Can I just buy a lift kit and take my truck to a shop and have them install it?😂 real question tho
Yes you could!
Make this video for Tundra
We gotta say what
👍👍
How much a job like that cost
Prices will vary shop to shop, we can sell the parts labor will be across the board unfortunately

Dang that truck had some rust issues
Welcome to the rust belt :/
All chevys have that terrible wax coating. Even in desert states it flakes off and rusts.
I would only use a suspension lift I would never use metal blocks to lift my truck ever never never never
Go more in depth on cutting the frame lol, some kids might get cut happy and just start sawin whatever they think they don’t need
Cut ma dam frame in half
Definitely not doing this alone
Hmmm
right?
Day 111 of asking custom offsets for a company dually truck build
reason #1 for why I would never buy one of these trucks. All that work just for a spacer. sheesh. and to pay someone it's probably so damn expensive.
So you want to buy a tahoe? do this please
Day 151 of asking co for black and milled davincis
The truth they should tell you is that Rough Country is the crappiest lift kit on the market.
