Hi Ryan, my pajero has a taller final rato. I now use a 32inch tyre and get worse fuel economy. Would this little gadget help?
Hey mate. I’m assuming so as it did for me. The 33s upped the fuel economy quite a bit. Before having this unit the car would rev it’s guts out. With this you just tap the accelerator and it’s already in rev range. The response on the throttle is so much better. I did notice a significant difference in the fuel economy in my experiences.
Increase in tyre size has the biggest negative impact on performance and fuel consumption. I have 2" lift, fridge, winch, bar, camping gear etc and still get 10ltrs/100.
I have to agree mate certainly. It has done wonders for off-road capability and look great but has impacted the fuel consumption
Throttle lag and turbo lag are 2 different things. Throttle controllers overcome throttle lag.
Yeah mate im not overly familiar with the difference, all I can say is that its a lot more responsive, aware that there's no "power gain" from the unit, just gives it a much better response time and a bit more guts which seemingly is exactly what it needed
@@nextleveladventuresau That's it in a nutshell mate. It overrides the factory settings for the throttle and gives you greater acceleration and responsiveness.
