Nah, nothing earth shattering. I fitted a tekonsha Primus IQ break controller in the (totally useless) coin tray / business card holder. I cut part of the (single DIN) spring loaded flap on the left side and - the break module fitted neatly inside because of its tapered shape. It protrudes a bit - but it needs to in case I need to hit the emergency boost.
I'm pretty confident the module won't vibrate loose but if it does, a simply bracket should do the job.
I'm happy there's plenty of clearance to the gear selector. I reckon if I mounted the module near the steering column I'd forever be banging my knee/shin!! Thanks again.

Hi mate, thanks for your videos, they are all so helpful. Just wondering how much I need to remove, to change the cigarette lighter socket next to the R/D Lock button? Mine keeps blowing the fuse so I decided to change it.

Unfortunately what you see is what you need to do to get to it.

@@DENMONKEY Thanks mate. I guess I will need a trim remover set and spend a day or two just for the tiny socket. At least I have your videos. Cheers

@@DENMONKEY Hi mate, today I tried to pulled out top 3 screws of glove box and the panel under steering wheel only (with 2 screws), then used a trim removal tool to pull out the aircon panel, and removed the right bolt only (3:57) and the two screws (5:16 of this video) of the big panel above gear box to access the cig lighter. A bit quicker than this video, but I was unable to align the right bolt (3:57) to those holes (the one one metal and the plastic one on the glove box), possibly because I cut the corner. I will post the project I did today on the Pajeroclub forum. Thanks for your high quality videos, I keep watching them over time.
