Once you hear this song, the tune never stops playing inside your head
True
It's ethno incorporated, Persian music.
@@UranijaZeus you have many other songs like this ? . Please can share the playlist ? . It would be much appreciated by me 😊😊
It plays in your heart
"María María..."
The two men started in a Christian band. The bassist never played, they told her she should try. pawn shop purchase and here they are. these guys are inspiring.
That's amazing
the guitarist is playing turkish style. Hope he left religion though.
@@browndemon386 why should it matter tho ? The same poeople who dont want to be bothered with religion are the same people being hypocrites telling other what to do and leave their own faith. Not religious myself but i would not bother anyone for being so because i was religious myself. Also hes from Texas and there are alote christians in Texas my guy.
@@fredymendez855 Totally down with you man.
cooooolll
if the universe ever forgets what time it is... this drummer knows
I could watch her sway all day
oh i agree...
Hot as fuck 🔥
Just finished saying that on another vid of them. She OWNS her vibe!!
Turns the inside of the spine to French cheese. What a woman, damn!
...and all night
Drummer gives a whole new meaning to chill.
You do realize that he's listening to a click sound to keep time. That earwig isn't following the stock market.
A movie needs to be written for this song
An adventure movies with a young belmondo taking place in exotic locals in the 1930s
Please don't put George Clooney or Brad Pitt in it. Thanks. Don't need an Ocean's 14.
This guy on drums?
One of the best on the planet.
A metronome.
Drumming is so much more than playing in time, chill out and listen to Chris Coleman.
Chill af.
Dude, I found your comment screenshot on Instagram and that made me come to this song.
Do you play the drums?
Mans is in the pocket
The coolest thing about the comment section on Khruangbin songs is that there are lots of compliments about Mark as well as Laura and DJ. They are all three the star of the show.
A true ensemble group.
No excess band members. Solid tight group.
You forgot the blue bulbs
the drummer doesn't keep time. time keeps him.
He goes by DJ but I'm gonna call him "Tik-Tok"
he's a machine in flesh
A little know facts is that atomic clocks are set to him. Without him we wouldn't have GPS
@@TheTransitmtl clever
He's....one of the Time Keepers in the TVA? Now that would be a twist. 🤔
It’s nice when every instrument gets a fair share to be heard out loud.
Funk and jazz are the genres that allow it.
Yeah love how they give enough space to kill it. They really put the songs first and somehow all get to shine. Musical ninjas
The way the bassist moves her body is hypnotic.
.....and mesmerizing
A regular snake charmer! 🎸🐍
Yep, i think that is the idea though. Keeps me coming back.
Really adds to the whole mood.
Yeah. It's like the music was written around her hip movements
This band holds all the infinity gems.
That guitar tone is amazing af
Its only reverb dialed up i think
YES
Yea only a reverb dialed up
its literally small Fender amp and a strat.
IMO that is why it sounds so good ...and different
Nice, reminds me of Turkish psychedelic rock from the 70s.
check out the orig video for this song - it's got a backstory behind it that's similar to what you're talking abt, but i don't want to ruin it for ya
Aye, introduce me to some of your fav bands!
@@isaiah7317 th-cam.com/users/AnatolianRockRevival
Definitely what I was thinking from the point I listened to this song, and it kept me thinking we are so desperate that a band from Texas focuses on our music and reminds us that we still have something we like here in Turkey
Yes, the intro especially.
I love all of the emotion on the drummer’s face
his brain power is focused on the drumming, no need for expressions ha
@@Barney-ii1no He sure can tap
he also plays piano for them
@@debbiedreg6614 hes a great piano player too
He sounds great but he looks like he's done with everybody's shit. I feel that.
This song sooo deserves to be in the next Tarantino movie. Can you see his last movie being the sequel to pulp fiction and having this song play at a pivotal scene!?
More like reservoire dogs for me
@@elieattie wait! Do you mean you can see a sequel to reservoir dogs as his last movie..?? And not PF?
@@kaisersozay8978 sure
ya I thought I heard a mix between miserlou and something kinda middle eastern lol
Immoral Tarantino doesn't deserve this quality.
My name is Maria......love this ...its killer
This tune will still be relevant in 2045.. timeless melody!
I love how everything stops except Mark at 2:22. Even the lights stop changing colors. Beautiful detail about the production. Love it
She's officially the best looking bassist to ever live. But it doesn't detract at how funky a sound they create as a unit.
You should check also bad habbits greek group
IDK, Jonghyun was a bassist.
My God, that woman.
It’s crazy how simple the guitar sounds to some but there are so many layers to what he is doing, crazy the more I listen to it, the more subtle details I catch on to
Watching Laura play the bass and move is mesmerizing. She put me in a trance. Not to mention she is gorgeous, what a woman . 1:45
Damn that drummer ice cold
Nah just stoned! lol!!!
Someone HAS to be.
I thought I'd heard it all. This band makes it sound like no other band ever existed.
Words can't describe how much I love this band
I like the lyrics..
"haak haak...."
Never expected you here. ❤️
Maria too
Kotha shotto
Maria does too
The lady moves beautifully ❤️😘
I love this arabesque song.
That drummer is a sneak attack secret weapon.... laying the foundation down!
I have been getting really addicted to music again. I am a pro drummer, but recently (6) months ago a bass guitar came to mind. I bought a 6 string guitar and I'm going to take guitar and bass lessons. I'm getting some new equipment to jam with. I have a real thing for the bass. The Allman Brothers Band had a bassist in 1990 that put me into a psychedelic experience at a show. I was floating to those bass tones. Tal Wilkenfeld was with Jeff Beck for years. RIP Jeff. We loved him. I was following them and Gary Clary Jr. Tal's bass is pretty off the hinges, but this bassist is out front smooth, very different styles, but very nice nonetheless.
This band is soulful. I am into music again. I never thought that fever to play instruments would ever come back. I'm paradiddling on a drum pad, playing a 6 string to get a feel every day. I'm going to take lessons in bass and guitar, because music is so sweet. I forgot what it does for the soul.
We have a whole community around here around the Guitar Museum in New Hyde Park, NY. Lots of musicians here. I'm going to do a few projects. Thanks for the inspiration. You and several other artists got me up and going again. ❤❤
almost forgot to watch this today
This drummer is solid! Keeping a laid back beat with "correct" tone.
Yeah. It's like a human drum'n bass rythm. It's not easy what he does and he's pretty good at it.
The drummer is 1 word...... "Smooth"
The bassists little groove is the sexiest thing I’ve seen
The way she moves with bass....I looses my everything
Gay men watching this might lose their orientation.
this is the best random click in my life
Barber: what you want?
Guitarist: you see my bass player?
Barber: say no more fam
wig store owner*
hahaha, every video they have i think the same
Guitarist: Give me the Johnny Ramone Deluxe Edition.
Who wore it better beachh!!!
Barber: what about the beard?
Guitarist: see my drummer?
Has a 60/70s California surf sound.🏄🏄♀️
Once again I pay gratitude to INSTA for introducing this beautiful piece of music ❤
Amazing music ı from turkey thank you khruangbin
I fuckin love TH-cam for handing me all these awesome recommendations. Have been introduced to so much I would never have encountered without TH-cam and music like this truly enrich my life.
God bless the TH-cam algorithm. Where would we be without it?
Their sound is so perfectly spot on. That snare! Precision crack!
Dude, true. I just noticed it. Gosh!
Who knew I would love a song sooo much with only 1 lyric.🖤“MARIA”🖤
Bass is killer...puts everything together so neatly with leads
I really like the lyrics
When she said "Maria Maria", I felt that.
tambien
I thought she said mario
@@aristheismail8378 Me too lol, thats my name
iT's A mE MaRio
This beat is so emotional and at the same time it's soo happiness and a mixture of sadness. It's like I'll overcome any obstacles and what if I can't and I fail, but it pushes me to believe in a leap of faith.
Khruangbin, helping us get through the Covidian Period one 'Maria" at a time.
nice comment
What a wonderful sound. So refreshing in these days of engineered "music". Their name means airplane in Thai. I am in northeast Thailand and this is the soundtrack of my life now. Bobby
Jefferson Khruangbin.... reinvented. :)
Man these guys are a breath fresh air in these days of mundane music........absolutely fantastic!
Couldn't agree more
Generic, R 'n' B, gives me, the Hives...Khruangbin, give my ears, a "stiffy"😂
Yes! So funky and groovy!!! #TheFunkisReal
@@AA-wq5sm very true. Chart and radio only reflects kids music as they buy the singles more than ever. I believe people also include TV when dismissing 'todays music' which is nuts
This is not mundane, it’s tedious, repetitive, uninspired, and the drummer’s face says it all...The only thing it has going for it is Tambien’s ass and the ‘sway’... Otherwise its just BORING and soulless wallpaper.
This tune is my year's soundtrack
So Addictive !
This band live was a revelation. Better than any drug.
I so bad want to see them live…. ❤
ALoha from Maui!aIvlive you Phil Thanx for letting mle be myself!Mathis song makes me smile and think of you+May you rest in peace!
you need to blast this tune loudly in any american muscle car hifi, cruising on highway....cool, salute from Malaysia
Speaking as the old time "classic rocker" in the group . . . this band is very refreshing. They are making their own way with their music and just listening to their heart. Beautiful. That's the way rock used to be - from the heart.
This song is too short, so I listen to it in loop and can't stop.
I started listening to them back in 2009 on Muzak. Since then the building has been sold twice and I still reside in the "broken elevator."
The drummer looks like he is thinking of what groceries to pick up on the way home.
edit: The joke here is that he looks like he is bored, zoned out, and as a result is thinking about planning his normal day to day chores.
LOL!!!!!
Hip is not on that list. They've got hip, cool, vibe, and some other stuff that do not have sufficient words to describe them, yet. Hotness? No they have plenty of that.
because he is so good that he can do that and still be an amazing drummer! love them
I think he is just enjoying the view
Andrew L. Yeah the best are usually bored at that point
That's one good looking bass.
and bassist
nothing fancy just an SX bass. Very affordable. With a little love they play great.
She claims that the dirty tone from these bass is what she loves.
Laura's hip sways are perfection. So HIPnotic
A KOOL INSTRUMENTAL BAND ,QUITE UNIQUE,LIKE NO OTHER,BAND MEMBERS A PERFECT MATCH.
this song sounds like something from a tarantino soundtrack.
Exactly
Yes! Totally giving me Saint Esmeralda!
Not even close.
Yeah ! I can imagine ;)
That could be a future cult seen hahaha !
But it’s simply a throwback of Turkish / Persian middle eastern 70’s pop psycho track.
Peace !
Can't stop listening to it over and over !
Laura’s dance makes me dance
makes me drool
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ME TOO'
boner
Daniel Lee love how she moves
The best version of Maria tambien ... so awesome the 3 of you!
I like this tune a lot, simply because of the good timing of dancing by the bassist. Simply sexiness at its best
The drummers so in the pocket I almost pulled him out instead of my keys
That's funny! 😆
^*drummer’s (contraction of drummer and is), not drummers (plural)🙄🤦♂️🤡
@@kaisersozay8978 It’s not though.
I can play this all day on repeat
she is so pretty and suave.
One of my fave live performances... The sound is PERFECT
This has got to be one of the most fun live performances in years
I keep coming back for more. There’s definitely something going on here.
Thats the band I was searching my whole life for.
so sexual, I think. maybe just me.
Literally re-lived my 90’s
It's rare that a band this young, and that hasn't been together that long relatively speaking (with regards to how long some bands have been together before they reach any kind of significant fan base), is already close to reaching a "power trio" kind of status. There are some mythical iconic power trios out there, they can be counted on 1 hand, 2 hands at most. These guys might achieve "power trio" status, I wouldn't be surprised if they do, they just have to stick it out long enough, I think they have what it takes, but their staying power will be the true test.
Every time I watch, it gets better, it seasons, how can it be? YES! One my for the maker making itself known.
This track made me break my replay button 😥
Gotta give it to y'all: Khruangbin comments are among the very best on YT! :-))
This is the best version of the song
I'm having a hard time memorizing the words to this song
You must listen more carefully and it will come to you!
Just smoke more Maria Maria.
its 2024 , the drummer sill on time , maria tambien is still make goosebumps
They only care about the music. So refreshing.
tbh I have never seen someone play a bass so tenderly and beautifull before.
That drummer is so good he sounds like a robot how well he keeps the rythm
I was lost in the web today Friday 8th 2024 , and in the least unexpected moment I ended up here listening this marvelous tune. I ♥ it
Someone owes the sound engineer a beer
This is what you call being in the pocket. Fantastic performance.
Their tiny desk pips it i think, less silly reverb
Waiting to see you guys live in California.
Replay button is crashed.
What a master piece of song 👏👏👏👏
A video about the CIA on twitter led me here 😂❤
What is about Texas that produces such distinctive guitarists? And the drummer and the bassist are insanely talented too.
KEXP is quickly becoming the only channel I need. Everything is excellent!
I just discovered this band a couple days ago. Now I'm trying to soak up as much as I can find of them. Awesome!
Best original music I have heard on TH-cam so far....
she’s sooo cute!!!
Yes, and so are you.
I’m feeling it 🕺🏽💃🏿💃🏻🕺🏻💃💃🏾🕺🏾🕺🏻
Drummer is the keeper of Time stone
Very very good sound. Salut from PORTUGAL 🇵🇹👏👏👏
Ouvi isto pela 1a vez na Vodafone FM

My new favorite band!
I haven't listened to such beautiful music for a long time, it has a 1970s breeze, it's very nice.
These people are making Mr. Fender proud in his grave. I fell like the electric guitar is invented for this.
