@@AA-wq5sm very true. Chart and radio only reflects kids music as they buy the singles more than ever. I believe people also include TV when dismissing 'todays music' which is nuts

Definitely what I was thinking from the point I listened to this song, and it kept me thinking we are so desperate that a band from Texas focuses on our music and reminds us that we still have something we like here in Turkey
It’s crazy how simple the guitar sounds to some but there are so many layers to what he is doing, crazy the more I listen to it, the more subtle details I catch on to
Speaking as the old time "classic rocker" in the group . . . this band is very refreshing. They are making their own way with their music and just listening to their heart. Beautiful. That's the way rock used to be - from the heart.

I have been getting really addicted to music again. I am a pro drummer, but recently (6) months ago a bass guitar came to mind. I bought a 6 string guitar and I'm going to take guitar and bass lessons. I'm getting some new equipment to jam with. I have a real thing for the bass. The Allman Brothers Band had a bassist in 1990 that put me into a psychedelic experience at a show. I was floating to those bass tones. Tal Wilkenfeld was with Jeff Beck for years. RIP Jeff. We loved him. I was following them and Gary Clary Jr. Tal's bass is pretty off the hinges, but this bassist is out front smooth, very different styles, but very nice nonetheless. This band is soulful. I am into music again. I never thought that fever to play instruments would ever come back. I'm paradiddling on a drum pad, playing a 6 string to get a feel every day. I'm going to take lessons in bass and guitar, because music is so sweet. I forgot what it does for the soul. We have a whole community around here around the Guitar Museum in New Hyde Park, NY. I fuckin love TH-cam for handing me all these awesome recommendations. Have been introduced to so much I would never have encountered without TH-cam and music like this truly enrich my life.
This beat is so emotional and at the same time it's soo happiness and a mixture of sadness. It's like I'll overcome any obstacles and what if I can't and I fail, but it pushes me to believe in a leap of faith.
It's rare that a band this young, and that hasn't been together that long relatively speaking (with regards to how long some bands have been together before they reach any kind of significant fan base), is already close to reaching a "power trio" kind of status. There are some mythical iconic power trios out there, they can be counted on 1 hand, 2 hands at most. These guys might achieve "power trio" status, I wouldn't be surprised if they do, they just have to stick it out long enough, I think they have what it takes, but their staying power will be the true test.
