    Nice video! Good call on the orange thread locker; didn’t even know that was a thing! We make a small note on the screen in the install video about removing the studs, but it could definitely be a lot more obvious. You did just the right thing; remove them with a vice grips or the double nut method 👌🏼

      Yeah the C5 was different from the S4 video I saw so I thought it would be good for C5 owners to consider. Thanks for a great product 👍 It made just the right difference🍻

    Thanks for the video brother. Didnt know about the orange thread locker either.
    Like you, I too bought the 034 support and didn't install it. Having found the JXB support soon after purchasing. Oh well, at least we have a support that will last! Thanks again, the video was very helpful! Cheers

    Have you had any issues with your rear subframe and the poly mounts and sway bars? I’ve heard that can become and issue with higher TQ from larger turbos and power.

      @cmidas3396  ปีที่แล้ว

      No issues. The stock mounts were torn. Don't know why it would be an issue. What have you heard exactly?

    • @ProjectCarTV
      @ProjectCarTV ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cmidas3396 Just that higher TQ tends to ruin old mounds or crack the subframe. I’ve also heard a lot about using poly mounts for the front of the car but OEM rubber for the rear

      I tried poly on the front control arms and took them out immediately because the ride quality was horrible. The upgraded rear swaybar and poly rear diff mounts were all positive for me. I had upgraded the front engine and trans mount first and all the slop was in the rear and was giving me issues in the rear until I upgraded the rear mounts and all that went away.

    What’d that cost you?

      I can't remember but I got it during one of the holiday sales on Jegs.

    Any increase in vibrations while driving or shifting?

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      None for me. I upgraded all the motor & rear diff mounts before this and I would get a clunk, vibrations and driveline skip when I got on it hard because of the power transfer between the front and rear & upgrading all the mounts so all the give went to the carrier mount and now that's gone.

    Same screw situation 2000 a6 c5 2.7t
    That's the only main issue

      @cmidas3396  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah we gotta be more careful with ours because it's a sliding bracket in the C5

      Wasn't too hard actually because of the way they made it.
