Color brush Framar from Armstrong mccall
Salerm shangai 0,66
Salerm mahogany dark brown 6,5
Biokera vials by salerm ( this was in the Mizani bottle in the beginning of the video)
I used the Shanghai 0.5oz mixed with 1oz Mahogany dark brown at 10vol for the mid shaft of the hair and then I used 0.5 the mahogany for the roots at 20vol to slightly lift and deposit the color.
The ratio is 1:2
Shampoo/conditioner: Avalon affirm Moisture color

When I was a professional hairstylist this is one of the most requested hair tints back in the day, lol. I even wore this haircolor. Surprisingly, it was so easy to attain. I just spoke with a young woman yesterday and she was complaining that her hairstylist couldn't for some reason get her haircolor to come out like this. I told her that with a "true burdundy" color like you did it has to have more of a deposit than actual lifting in the haircoloring process. Basically, her stylist should of used a lower volume of peroxide. A volume 10 was always my go to. Depending on the client's base color. I was a haircolor fanatic when I did hair back in the day. Haircutting and perming/ relaxing and haircoloring was my thing! Anyway...sorry I digressed, lol. Great job to you!! Have a blessed weekend!!

I had one women, Shirley, and one man Jackie, who whipped my hair to the fullest back in the day. Shirley moved to your town many years ago and Jackie just took too long,( 6 hours with an appointment) so now I did the"big chop", for the thirtieth time,but it's okay my hair growth is pretty fast. If I ate hair your client's would be the blue plate special,soooooo beautiful just like she is, you worked this video sis!!🤗🤗
@@n.m8827 ...in my opinion I think it would probably just lift it a very little but would deposit more color without out changing your base color too much. Back in the day when I was a professional hairstylist some clients would want a more dramatic color change and therefore I'd use a higher volume peroxide but when the initial color would start to fade out the base color would end up more brassy looking in return causing dryness to those old colored ends. Then I'd have to condition the heck out of those ends before coloring again because otherwise the ends would grab the same color much darker and you don't want that. I'm sure you've seen bad haircolor jobs where the roots were lighter and the ends were darker. This is why I say, stick with your lower volume peroxides that helps to deposit more color than lifting. In the end your hair stays alot more healthy.

I've never considered getting burgundy as a hair colour...until now. This is STUNNING. Reminds me of when my mum used to colour her hair burgundy years ago, that looked gorgeous too. I was thinking of getting blonde highlights but keep going back and forth with it because of the bleach and I hate how coloured blonde hair sometimes looks dry or lacks lustre. Burgundy might have to be the move!
