There are hair dyes you can use instead of bleaching. Try out Clairol .. they’re really good🧚🏽♂️

Yes! Nice to see black women stepping away from just basic black hair! I love highlights in my hair. Blonde hair is not for me, but some black women wear it well.
That's so true the only problem is she doesn't know it but she most likely will experience damage to her hair from this. I'm a stylist. She bleached & straightened all in 1 day & said she further styled it at home. U have to really be knowledgeable on how to care for processed hair & most ppl are not. She has beautiful hair. A blonde wig would have been a much safer option

I mean; it’s not going immediately go down the drain right after coloring. It is over time(more or less depending on the person), that the inevitable damage creeps up on you.
By that time it’s too late. I have taken someone from black to blonde. However; I suggested that we make the change gradually over a six month period! By month six the color was exactly what she initially wanted.
But she eventually got “lazy” as we sometimes do, and had to go from BSL to a Pixie?!🤷🏾♀️
It’s just not worth it to me….Not to mention, if you’re not born with blonde hair, I say leave it be! But that’s just me…

I literally held my breath so many times watching this lol. So glad to see your results came out great! My hair definitely cannot withstand a color change that requires bleaching…let alone a press on top of that 😩
I was really scared to bleach my hair because I thought it would get damaged but Thanks to you , you've given me confidence and am going to dye it to a burgundy red
Bleaching and dyeing are two different things. Bleaching is stripping away the outer layer of the hair strand. That's why it's damaging. Dyeing is adding a layer of colour to the hair.
Everbody's hair type is different some people can straighten and bleach/dye their hair with no problems, but some within a few months hair will break and fall out, wont grow back the same or may take years to get healthy

My hair tangles very easily and is very dry and brittle. So color wasn’t ever good for my hair despite loving color. I’ve tried almost every color but I’m afraid color is not out of my system 😢 but I’ll hold out for the health of my hair LOL. I only dye my hair black now, with no issues. Beautiful results!! LOVE it!

I went to the salon wanting to color my hair honey blonde... she said "i want money, I'm here for money but i don't want your hair damaged".... the emotional damage i haven't recovered from that statement. I love your hair and the color you chose. This has given me more confidence to color my hair
She was honest. Some will damage your hair and try to convince you that it’s normal to end up with damage… Be careful out there with these money hungry hairdressers ready to ruin your hair for money
She is correct !! I am a master cosmetologist and it is so damaging to the natural hair !!
As a stylist myself, this can be very damaging BUT it doesn't have to. If a stylist isn't comfortable doing a service, be thankful they told you so, now you can go to a stylist that is confident that they can do it without damage.🙌
She was doing you a favor by being truthful. Blonde and red hair dye is very taxing to coarse hair. You have to always remember coarse hair is already very dry. Then you're doing a process that is going to make it more dry. Your stylist is taking a risk if they do it. Your hair might fall out. There's a lot of work you will have to do after you get it dyed too. You have to moisturize like crazy. And even then it still may fall out. I speak from experience.

this is the best "bleaching on natural hair" video i have seen. Wish you knew the details of the bleach and developer, especially since they were able to get to that color in just one sitting.

I wouldn't call it regret, but i bleached my ends and didn't like how it looked on me. Would love me some dark dark blue black hair, but my hair doesn't take to it very long ever since the bleach.
