Disclaimer: I am not a professional. I experiment on my hair and I show yall what I do. I've done this multiple times to touch up my roots and it has came out red EVERYTIME. Although, it comes out this color on my hair DOESN'T mean it will come out the same on your hair. There are a variety of factors that come into play when dyeing your hair.

I literally followed this exact process and got the same results. I usually let my color grow out but I love it so much that I’ve decided to keep it up and do root touch ups. I get compliments everywhere I go & ppl are so surprised when I tell them it was a DIY process. You’re so inspiring.❤️❤️
I tried but it went horrible like some parts it worked others it didn’t so i really don’t know what i did wrong

@@rosasalazar5999 that’s so weird. I would say to try it again but don’t roll the hair in knots/buns. Let it hang and put a shower cap on it. I hope that helps.

I've been wanting to dye my hair but scared of breakages and my hair getting damaged since I quit doing perms and using chemicals on and need it natural.so I'm on the fence between this and henna please advise .Many many thanks in advance

Your video saved me right before a wedding when they cut my hair too short… I have dark hair, I used 30 volume developer for a more burgundy color, didn’t need the tintation. Also I left it for 15 minutes first then I hit the roots and then left it for 40 minutes. 😊 Thank you!!!!

The color is beautiful. I watched your video 4 times and decided to try it. I used everything except the conditioner & developer. Instead, I use Salon Care 30 developer & CurlMix Mint Deep Mask Conditioner. The color came out great. It was a lot to do but so worth the results. This is an excellent color for the Fall / Winter and year-round. Thanks for sharing your video you rock!

please just do it,whatever makes you happy. Red is really not hard too coordinate with colors.Red is good with skin tones,GREEN,blue,OBSV RED,BLACK,WHITE is lovely too,pink

I have quite dark hair and im not allowed to bleach it so this helped alot! Are there any blue hair dyes like yours because the colour seemed to show in your hair really well.

I just dyed mine tonight I Was scared I used 30 developer instead of 40 I should’ve used the 40 though! The color came out pretty but next time I Will definitely use 40 volume next time!!

You do realize that using a 40 volume developer is very damaging right? There's a reason us professionals hardly ever use 40 vol. It isn't needed. Bleach isn't damaging to the hair when used by a professional. And by the way, its not the color or bleach that damages the hair. Its the developer you choose that damages. You only needed 20 vol to lift your roots. The heat from your scalp will lift the color even more. Def do NOT run 40 vol through the rest of your hair. This will ruin your hair way quicker than bleach.
What's about 30 volume developer ? Tho my hair is too oily especially the roots
Will using a 20 volume developer give me the same red as her’s here? I don’t want to damage my hair
20 v won’t really work without bleach I’m a hairdresser as well n when I did this with bleach n a 10 I had severe damage I used this method in high school it works well n I had no damage as a hairdresser u should know all hair reacts differently hence why we do strand test
@@beautifullybrokenempress6631 hi! Do you think 40V should still be used if the stylist leaves it on the head for 40 minutes instead of 30 like the video said? I want to do this myself and I don’t know what my stylist used on my tight coily 4c hair just know she did not use bleach

heyy was there any bleeding of the dye after? I’m a little scurred to get dye onto my clothing. I saw a couple of ppl talking about bleeding of the dye and I’m confused tbh
@@devin264 what do you mean bleeding?? after washing your hair the color wont bleed anymore unless you are in the shower and your hair is soaking wet, and even then its not very noticable also if your hair isnt curly like hers it still works and if you are wondering how long this stays for, it turns into a more burgundy then red color and stays like that for a long time...my hair is still red, but a different shade then before :) if u have more questions just respond to this and ill be happy to help
