@Indigo they should make swords viable for titans at least tbh seeing as how they treat them as the punching things class. Handcannons and bows are for hunters and I'm not really sure what the warlock weapons are, trace rifles? Idk it's why I'm not a game dev

Wishender also does extra damage to enemies that are in the blight of Witherhoard. They bump this damage up even more right before the Lightfall update. You should try the damage numbers with that synergy.
Minor addition: In addition to the glow rising through the hilt of the sword, here's also a small chime that sounds when you hit the Perfect Draw point.
Wish-Ender needs a Taken DragonFly cat, that adds a blight effect on those near the explosion. That would shoot this exotic to stay in the top for a very long time
I love Wish Ender for GMs. Its just too potent not to use, although the trigger finger gets a bit achy when farming lol. Combine with a fireteam member using Witherhoard for synergy and its a work of art
Actually for how bows work, I suggest asking a bow expert. Bows are both projectile and hitscan. Until a bow is fully drawn, it remains a projectile. However, once a bow is fully drawn its state is now hitscan. The reason WHY bows have such a steep dropoff tbh is due to the AIM ASSISTANCE falloff

The answer's yes, absolutely, and this should be the norm for Exotic primaries. But most likely, Bungie will nerf Wishender instead of buffing other Exotic primaries. And no, the latest sets of buffs are absolutely not enough - Exotic primaries should be able to have the same TTK as Wishender. Final Warning is another good example of a primary Exotic done right - just wish we could see that across the board for other Exotic primaries.
Hey friend 👋. I don't believe that wish ender will be nerfed, if it was about to get nerfed we would know by now after all this time that wish ender is available. It's simply way too difficult to get it and a nerf to this weapon would be also its death 😢. I believe that Bungie nerfs only the exoticts that are easy to get or those who come along with the season passes but not the ones you get from difficult activities. Thousand voices is the only exception till now i believe and they only nerfed it a bit, it still is the most lethal heavy weapon in whole Destiny no matter what, and of course i still don't have it 😂😂😢😢😢
Thing is it’s a double edged sword. It’s awful for DPS, and while it can “add clear” well(OHK everything), it’s draw time is preventing it from being a absolutely broken weapon.

I cant see the wish-ender getting nerfed, simply due to the fact its a kinetic primary, when stunning a champ it still requires a few hits to finish them, no subclass synergy either, i think itll be fine.
I swear if bungie in their infinite wisdom decides to nerf wish ender one day I'm gonna lose it. After being so ass for so long I think it deserves to be as good as it is now.
Fighting Lion is also up there for its sheer damage output to red bars, infinite ammo, constant invis for hunters and it gets Anti-Barrier with volatile rounds
The Oath keepers buff would have to be at least 3x damage increase and under 5 seconds hold time. No reason to use it when I can get the more shots off in that time

The rework added barriers to Lake, which previously was only taken champions (unstop/overload). I do prefer taking on barriers to overload though, their recovery time is easier to predict
@@Collin_J i think the problem with barrier champs is sometimes you want to just turn your brain off and you can do that vs unstoppable and overload (and do minimal damage) but if you turn your brain off vs a barrier champ, you will just hear a squeaky noise as your ult suddenly bounces off the barrier cuz you were just pew pewing lol and it forces you to take specific weapons (atleast until bungie fixes the wonky interactions with overload SMG/Autos not proccing volatile rounds for antibarrier)
@@xiphosmaniac just so ya know, Bungie does not want guns that have an active artifact mod to be able to do multiple jobs. Unless I read something incorrectly, when a gun has overload or unstop activated in the artifact it won't ever be able to break a barrier. That's part of why people freak out about chill clip Riptide, because it doesn't need an artifact mod to stop overloads, unstops, and just needs radiant to break barrier champs

Another issue I find its that only radiant is a consistant way to deal with barriers, the others require a kill with an ability or weapon before you engage with the barrier. The other freeze, slow, jolt, supress, blind, etc are instant abilities or dmg. Hell even if I apply volatility or unravel with my melee it doesn't count as anti barrier
This bow has been my baby since I got it in forsaken. The grind was so painful I remember back then. It’s always been my “well I suck at pve right now and I want this to die” weapon
As you mention it not doing broadhead damage to minors you shoot Gladiators that have more health and you can see the broadhead damage. I think it's just that it triggers second, so if the minor is weak enough to die from the initial hit the secondary damage doesn't show.
I always liked wish ender but it never made it to my gm loadouts but after the extra dmg tick and shield peirce buff I almost always take it into a gm regardless of shields lol same for leviathans. Truly a peak time for bows
you don't need to complete the dungeon to get the bow, just need to get to statue, get question, restart dungeon do coins then get statue bow is yours. As for 1 shot stun on barriers on perfect/full draw i have had it not 1 shot stun many times on perfect draw its buggy at times.
I can't believe it took people this long to use leviathan's breath and I feel bad for everyone that did not get that thing master worked during season of the hunt.
I used Lemon almost every GM last two seasons but with Strand the need for safety peaking does seem really far down the list. But I will give this a shot, me and my forever-guardian were mopping up all the stuff we'd not completed since starting the game a year ago and grabbed Wishender, felt underwhelming but we'll give it a shot.

since even new players can solo the dungeon more people got it i guess, and anti barrier pushed it a bit up but im in the same boat with le monarque, its imo the best non special, range, clear and even the damage on champs is pretty insane for non special ammo!
It’s simple really. Does the GM have a majority of: Barriers: Wish Ender Overloads: Le Monarque Unstoppable: Conditional Finality or really any scout rifle This guide will work in pretty much every GM or lost sector

This is not new news...to me at least. I have been using Wish-Ender for YEARS in GMs and have been shocked at the lack of attention given to it from Streamers (and the so-called "pros"). This bow is literally all you need for any activity. Only downside...it can get boring after a while because of how good it really is.
Wish-Ender. Destroys because of these reasons: -Unlimited ammo, Heavy hitter for a Kinetic, and comes with pre-built Anti-barrier. She'll never let you down.

In all fairness, I’m not a pvp player. I hate the fact you MUST use certain weapons otherwise you’ll lose. Arbalest and Lorentz though, you really didn’t have to aim

Lmao, I've been using Wish Ender for anti barriers ever since Bungie added the perk. I've had people tell me to use Arbalest because it's better. I set them straight with the facts. The facts are, Wish Ender = anti barrier destroyer.

C'mon man, the main reason you're saying this doesn't need a nerf is because of how easy it makes pretty much everything. It's a no-brainer lock for the kinetic slot and is used by almost everyone. That kind of dominance in a weapon slot can only last so long before it gets a nerf. It's happened many times before.
I have 12k pve kills from master and GM content since the buff. It is the hardest hitting primary in pve. It hits harder than Ariana’s vow and that’s a special weapon. Don’t even have to hit crits. It hits about as hard as a high impact sniper crit. Even when it’s a body shot. Add in the anti barrier and you have the best pve weapon in the game.
Its been amazing for awhile and my go to GM primary since its the only thing that still 1hits redbars. It chunks like a special weapon, goes through annoying shield enemies like hydras and vandals, and hits enemies like 3 times a shot. Its slow as hell but in a gm who cares.
When u try to tell your people how good wish ender is doing in end game content but they months behind.. Maybe bungie saw people was using wish ender so much so they secretly nerfed the ability to pierce through phalanx and hydra shields. When the community said something, then they say it's a bug. Just random bug lol.

For anyone who may be considering getting this now but is deterred because they play solo, I did this today and it went just fine took a couple hours but that’s because I was impatient and I’m not the best player. Do your best you’ll be fine
Ive used wishender since release in pvp high end. Wishender and not forgotten was meta and peeps slept on it. Also people would have to push hard with special to kill me. And as such I dropped no special for them. Easy cleanup for my team.
The max damage activates at the tip of the blade not the hilt. Idk about all that perfect draw full draw stuff, I just know that once the wishender hits the sword it's the same damage anywhere in the sword.
I just wanted to say that Wish-Ender does one shot in crucible but has to be a perfect shot and I know this because I have one shot people in crucible multiple times really good vid tho
This weapon is an absolute menace when 2 or more enemy players are coordinating. Two body shots is all it takes and it's pretty easy to do that with 50m of wall hacks

I just want a consistent stun for the Overload Minotaur champions...there is always a huge delay and they actually rush you unlike other Champs.
A workaround is definitely strand suspension

With strand the only champ mod you need is overload. Did every GM this season without unstop or barrier mods. Just suspend everything.

Theres only a few things I can say are perfect in this game. This bow is one of them, I just cant seem to put it down.
For Anti-barrier this season. You may want to try Battle Scar with keep away and Kinetic Tremors… problem

Anybody got a good overload recommendation to run with wish ender? I dont wanna run double primary but i kinda feel forced to. Im a hunter btw
I love how since forsaken wish ender was mostly just a "Who? What? Why?" kind of exotic, no one aside from a very small % used it.
Now in the last few months it is everywhere.
And i just got it myself.
But Le Monarque is ma bebe.
since even new players can solo the dungeon more people got it i guess, and anti barrier pushed it a bit up but im in the same boat with le monarque, its imo the best non special, range, clear and even the damage on champs is pretty insane for non special ammo!
Next season Wish Ender with Chromatic Fire.
I remember when it glitched and started 1 shotting shielded enemies. It's current rendition reminds me of that version.
It’s simple really. Does the GM have a majority of:
Barriers: Wish Ender
Overloads: Le Monarque
Unstoppable: Conditional Finality or really any scout rifle
This guide will work in pretty much every GM or lost sector
Please Please Please Please Please stop using Dul-Incaru damage phase as ''proof'' of power creep... Not only shes coded as a buggy vehicle, but the orb buff literally makes her take 200% more damage.....
This is not new news...to me at least. I have been using Wish-Ender for YEARS in GMs and have been shocked at the lack of attention given to it from Streamers (and the so-called "pros"). This bow is literally all you need for any activity. Only downside...it can get boring after a while because of how good it really is.
Wish-Ender. Destroys because of these reasons:
-Unlimited ammo, Heavy hitter for a Kinetic, and comes with pre-built Anti-barrier. She'll never let you down.

In all fairness, I’m not a pvp player. I hate the fact you MUST use certain weapons otherwise you’ll lose. Arbalest and Lorentz though, you really didn’t have to aim
I remember playing when the GMs first came out in Season of Plunder. This guy was using Wish Ender, and this other guy on my team was giving him shit for it. Turns out, Wish Ender guy was ahead of the curve, lol.
Too bad bungie doesn’t give a fuck about their game and can’t even fix that quest for me to get the bow. Just bugs out and no prompt comes up at the ascendent statue. I killed the 3 hidden bosses and went behind the statue and nothing I’ve done this stupid dungeon like 100 times Just can’t complete it. I’ve even deleted the quest and retried and nothing. Been stuck for years NO FIX

Bungie: Due to Wish-ended reliance we have nerfed the weapons damage by 50% and removes it’s anti barrier capability. It’s new exotic trait is it can go through one enemy only if the first hit was precision.
I'm terrible at endgame content like dungeons, so I'm glad my clan mate helped me get this. It also feels good with the 180rpm handcannon, TRUST
Lmao, I've been using Wish Ender for anti barriers ever since Bungie added the perk. I've had people tell me to use Arbalest because it's better. I set them straight with the facts. The facts are, Wish Ender = anti barrier destroyer.
Catalyst with successful warmup/archers tempo would make it even more op bur I'd be here for it

Wish-Ender should be the baseline honestly. It's been a staple in my inventory for a long while now. It's what i'm known for in my clan Lol. I hope it doesn't get nerfed, it's my baby.

The only time I sub Wish-Ender out is when I need to poison stun tons of Overload Champs with Le Monarqe, otherwise it’s a GM staple every time.
Cross, can you please just not make videos highlighting overpowered weapon that community can use for fun? Bungie is gonna nerf it by the end of the week. Just let people enjoy the bow silently, no need to make a fuss about it.

I will take this off to experiment with something else in a GM and have a unsatisfactory exp. Never taking this off should there be barrier champs again

C'mon man, the main reason you're saying this doesn't need a nerf is because of how easy it makes pretty much everything.
It's a no-brainer lock for the kinetic slot and is used by almost everyone. That kind of dominance in a weapon slot can only last so long before it gets a nerf. It's happened many times before.
I have 12k pve kills from master and GM content since the buff. It is the hardest hitting primary in pve. It hits harder than Ariana’s vow and that’s a special weapon. Don’t even have to hit crits. It hits about as hard as a high impact sniper crit. Even when it’s a body shot. Add in the anti barrier and you have the best pve weapon in the game.
Just love this bow. Haven't had it that long, but I've over 10,000 kills on it now and it's my default kinetic weapon.
I recall when this was bugged and did insane damage.....probs the only time Gambit was fun 🤷♂️
Its been amazing for awhile and my go to GM primary since its the only thing that still 1hits redbars. It chunks like a special weapon, goes through annoying shield enemies like hydras and vandals, and hits enemies like 3 times a shot. Its slow as hell but in a gm who cares.
When u try to tell your people how good wish ender is doing in end game content but they months behind..
Maybe bungie saw people was using wish ender so much so they secretly nerfed the ability to pierce through phalanx and hydra shields. When the community said something, then they say it's a bug. Just random bug lol.

been playing D2 for years, and still dont have mine. Just got caught up in other quests/challenges or other games. At least with the light increase not happening next season, I'll have more time to catch up on all the things!

For anyone who may be considering getting this now but is deterred because they play solo, I did this today and it went just fine took a couple hours but that’s because I was impatient and I’m not the best player. Do your best you’ll be fine
Ive used wishender since release in pvp high end.
Wishender and not forgotten was meta and peeps slept on it.
Also people would have to push hard with special to kill me. And as such I dropped no special for them. Easy cleanup for my team.
How do I have 14k+ kills its wishender and never noticed the glowing indicator. I do have the purple ornament maybe it dosnt show?
I still have the three unpowered tokens on my hunter, but I dont wanna finish it/I dont even know if I **CAN** finish it 💀 and I cant discard them

The max damage activates at the tip of the blade not the hilt. Idk about all that perfect draw full draw stuff, I just know that once the wishender hits the sword it's the same damage anywhere in the sword.
I just wanted to say that Wish-Ender does one shot in crucible but has to be a perfect shot and I know this because I have one shot people in crucible multiple times really good vid tho
This weapon is an absolute menace when 2 or more enemy players are coordinating. Two body shots is all it takes and it's pretty easy to do that with 50m of wall hacks
Great weapon, but as with a suspend titan build, I dont even equip anti barrier mods/weapons. Plus, I need that slot for strand weapons.
I remember when I was doing escalation protocol and it was bugged doing 4x damage, felt so good cus it was shit back then
We all hold our breath when Cross reviews a METAH weapon as we know that Bungo is prolly watching as well
BTW, a bow's draw time in-game for all bows is not the actual draw time IN GAME.
