Games that i think should have won, in my opinion: 2014: Dark soul's 2 2015: Bloodborne 2016: Doom 2017: breath of the wild 2018: rdr2 2019: Death stranding or RE2 2020: ghost of tsushima or doom eternal 2021: it takes two 2022: god of war: Ragnarök 2023: spider man 2
DS2 lacks a lot of things to win GOTY. Bloodborne is really good, but Witcher 3 is just superior. And finally, I respect your opinion, but cmon. Spider-Man 2 shouldn't have even been even nominated. That game is not even close to BG3.
The current state of heartstone would've won against ds2. This was also way before Fromsoft games got popular and were very niche. And ds 2 was insanely badly reveived back then - still is. No idea how it got a nomination.

And that is artistic excelence, that bloodborne has and witcher not. Its so close to artistic perfection, that its impossible for witcher to compete. Witcher IS definitly a better game in one specific thing and that is everything technical that i dont understand. But man do i not give a fuck about 30fps in bloodborne.

Lol it won't even get a nomination. Ever heard of Hogwarts Legacy? Yeah BMW will have the same fate as that. It's either Astro Bot or FF7 Rebirth. Even if BMW got nominated, it will never win cause of that 81 metacritic. The other two games are 90+ score.

It’s unfair that Kingdom come deliverance was not nominated into the list in 2018. It was the most realistic and immersive Medieval open world to date
ive put around 120 hours in elden ring (dlc included) and i am like 70% done with gow ragnarok and i can say i like ragnarok better than elden ring
