I enjoy it alongside the aeon safes. The mod that most people use where finishers create ammo for allies, also has another perk where you make orbs for rapid precision kills. So you're making orbs and ammo! I don't think you make ammo for yourself sadly so you still need ammo finders for yourself.
If youre using it with aeons you could just have special finisher equipped for yourself so your teammates get heavy and you keep forerunner topped off Actually, brb going to make this build 😂

Also kinda sucks because I like running kinetic boost to buff it up so I'm giving up my buffs. I've been running it on strand titan so I can mow down tangled up enemies for easy headshots and to get woven mail. Although on doesn't one tap kabal redbars on neomuna even with 2x. it'll be close but you'd probably need something like radiant to make that work.
Personally I'd change tricksleeves in a different way. Lean into the risk reward even harder by restoring health (not shields) on each kill with a sidearm, prolonging the duration of the damage buff and delaying health regeneration for a few seconds. This way you can slay out with a beefed up sidearm, but you're going to be vulnerable as all hell while you do it.
To complete the catalyst it's like 100ish pvp kills instead of those hundreds of pve kills which is what I did. I'd had enough pve just getting the catalyst. I've been loving it as a daily driver and love the new ornament, gotta rep the armory
Forerunner is almost perfect for me, just needs 2 minor changes. Needs custom death animations in pvp to match CE and it's viewmodel has to shift over to the center more.
The model shifting more to the center would most likely throw most people off. That's why they kept it in line with Destiny's line of sight rather than the tribute going full in.
Ive been liking this on grapple because it allows me to use a grenade on top of having a grapple plus it procs all grenade perks too. This with a demolitionist and adrenaline junkie BxR has been a lot of fun giving a free reload and increased damage without needing to use my grapple.
I'm on board with mechaneer's getting a rework. It being only usable while you're primed to be killed by even a blaster minion is lame. I'd like it to read: "Swapping to a sidearm while you are either full health or at critical health gives you increased damage for 5 seconds. Full health increases damage by 30%. Critical health increases damage by 150%. Mechaneer's Tricksleeves go on cooldown for 10 seconds after activating." This way it works for the cock sure Cayde-6 in all of us (giving a significant increase in damage that's on par with some gun perks for the start of a fight), but also gives you a panic bonus when you're really suffering in a fight.
Forerunner feels pretty great right now, though some sort of buff with Mechaneer’s similar to Luckypants duration and ease of use would be great. Personally, Forerunner is a fave in solo and any Vex related content. Free-est Hydra shred period lol

2 things for you: 1 the rock needs a buff that gives it 3.0 synergy. My idea give it basically Bombardier's exotic perk but on the rock. So it will change according to your subclass. Arc will blind, solar will scorch, void will suppress, stasis will slow and strand will sever. This will give the rock some utility and make it more worth using 2. Want to make shaxx proud? Of course you do. Here is a fun build for you: Hunter on solar. Run gunpowder gambit and firebolts Then run forerunner and Bombardier. Also run rain of firebolts on the artifact You have the rock, Bombardier's explosive, gunpowder gamble, and 2 firebolts. 5 grenades in one build. Have fun!
Dares is free and wasn't part of the 30th pack. The Dungeon, Gjally, ornaments and cosmetics were. I'm not sure about Forerunner itself but Dares itself is a free activity.
Ningi actually put out a video of him using is against Caital and it SHREDS. Easily the best special weapon for DPS right now outside of very short DPS phases.
All i gotta say is forerunner and my crafted demo/ incandescent BXR helped me through solo legend campaign on my hunter. Switched to witherhoard at certain points.

There is indeed significance to The Rock's damage numbers. Obviously, 117 is a direct reference to the chief. But 827 is bit more nuanced. In numerology, angel number 827 means you have the power to influence your spiritual destiny.
If folk wanna use the Halo CE pistol effectively in PvP... treat it like the *Halo CE Pistol* You should ALWAYS tap fire in Halo 1, full auto is too luck based to rely on because of bloom. Pace those shots, move side to side, throw in a jump or a crouch here or there and what not. MCC's usually got a FFA lobby open in the custom servers if you're intrigued on trying the original Forerunner in a PvP environment, though you'll be testing yourself against Halo vets. Another tip for HCE, that I hope get's turned into a potential catalyst buff: If your mag is almost empty, double tap your reload and keep the Pistol stowed. This will reload the bad boy in your backpack while keeping you in the fight with your other option. Just swap back once its been about how long the reload animation plays, and BOOM. Fresh mag. Having the backpack reload as an exotic gauntlet, or a perk for Forerunner, would be pretty neat, and free up your legs for some other mods. Idk it seems neat to me.
I thankfully had an old Demolitionist Adrenaline Junkie roll. Although I think Incandescent is much easier to proc, I like being able to proc it with a grapple build since I dont have to use the grapple and instead use The Rock to proc my AJ buff.
It's time. Tricksleeves need a buff. I've always wanted to use them for a sidearm build. But they never got the Lucky Pants treatment. To which I need to try again. It was so good during Curse of Osiris funnily enough.
The Rock doesn’t interact with sidearm perks because it’s a *g r e n a d e*. It might come from Forerunner’s catalyst, but if it overwrites your grenade slot, I don’t think weapon-based builds will interact with it much.
A buff to Mechaneers would be cool but also at the same time Forerunner is still kind of in that weird spot where it goes from Great to Mediocre within PvE. There are some current solo dungeon strategies that make use of it to do some fairly high DPS with the mentioned Trick sleeves but thats about it. The Ability Based builds you can make with it though thanks to its catalyst are fun though, who doesnt like a bit of high explosives.
They need to make more exotics that work with Sidearms. And yes, i know Hunters have those exotic arms, but i feel like Forerunner would be so much better if it has synergy with an exotic armor piece. Maybe something for Titans? Bring those Master Chief vibes
I use the forerunner and the rock when I'm on my solar titan with healing grenades, the rock procs grenades mods so its really useful to pair with the healing nad
A sidearm I think is really slept on in PvE is Cryosthesia 77K. It now has AoE feeeze effect, so you can just shoot the floor next to a group of enemies and freeze them all. It's literally like having a permanent grenade built into your sidearm and all you have to do is get a single kill. Its such a satisfying gameplay loop, especially since sidearms do a lot of damage now. Shoot a red bar, then freeze and entire group and wipe them out. Rinse repeat.
If it wasn't for the class/buff based anti-champion abilities it would see a lot more use. It works wonderfully in anti-barrier role. It's basically the in-between in its own class (also maybe including Eriana's) that's between a high impact hand cannon/scout and sniper rifle.
I feel like it’s weird how multiple ppl are pushing for Forerunner to be used… I bet my entire account, they tryna get Bungie to nerf the weapon LOL it never fails, for some reason when I see Cross or Lucky post videos on exotics, they either about to get nerfed through the floor, or buffed. Nobody ever uses this gun except trials lol it should be left alone, and imo they should post videos where they have ideas for new exotic armors. If Bungie is close to them, Bungie will hear you know? Every time they big up a gun, it gets disabled or nerfed. We NEED a warlock exotic that buffs nova bomb dmg, before the sidearm nobody uses gets nerfed. We need a titan exotic that can buff nades regen/dmg. Hunters? I have almost all of the exotics in this game. I have invested so far almost 5k hours. Some of that is definitely me sitting in orbit while I cook dinner. I keep trying to get friends to try this game, because I love it. Unfortunately, NOT ONE out of 12 people I GOT to try it stayed. I was not sure why at first. The massive barrier to entry is something to overcome. I thought, at first, it was how many exotics they needed to just break even. That did seem daunting to me when I first started. I asked, most said "Nah, getting those things is exciting. I started ask my friends why they were leaving. Most gave long winded diatribes as to the state of PVP and what is "Meta" and what wasn't. They ALL felt the barrier to high content PVE was almost unattainable. A lot said, "Just learning mechanics was already daunting and they just didn't want to try." I have come to the realization, that it is overly complicated mechanics that is creating a barrier that most just don't feel is WORTH it to learn. Seriously... The theory crafting of this game is why it will NEVER grow. This video perfectly illustrates that. You seriously need a PHD in destiny to just be on a level playing field. I understand all of what you have said, but what new player wants to go through ALL of those hoops to TRY OUT this game? Who wants to go through the entire learning curve, then acquire ALL OF THE EXOTICS. Than after that, figure out all the combinations of equipment, aspects, and fragments. THEN, what weapons are Meta with what specific perks that are Meta for JUST THAT WEAPON, and how they synergize with the rest to FINALLY give you the ability to go kill someone in PVP on an equal playing field ????? I love the looter part, but MAYBE that is really the largest problem in this game, just all the possible combos. I AM NOT even going into aim assist in an FPS taking away the MOST IMPORTANT SKILL needed in an FPS. also, how can long ass sniper weapons can be pulled as fast as a sidearm. What about a hand cannon being a better tactical option for most of this game's history than a rapid fire weapon. I have way more of these kinds of inconsistencies, but that is another topic.
I still say this should have been a 120 Handcannon. Or the only 120 Sidearm..... So that you could use it like a sniping 120, without needing special ammo. I really wanted to use the thing... But I hate having to look for Special ammo. Which is why I usually run double primaries.
If that damage boost from truck sleeves persisted after you got your health back it would likely be way too much in pvp. Forerunner can already 2 tap with trick sleeves activated. It's probably my favorite pvp build for hunters. So if Bungie does want to give it some love, I won't complain. P.S. please give it an ornament

They need to give the tricksleevs the lucky pants treatment. I say they give you the ×2 damage bonus after you swap away from an empty weapon, or the lower the percentage of the other weapons mag, the higher the damage bonus the sidearm gets( up to a 100% bonus at 0% ammo in the other weapon). I think it'd be a good callback to,"Switch to your other weapon, its faster than reloading!😄
In Carl's cave forerunner does 27k, solid sniper like weapon with good economy basicly, what erianas vow is compared to snipers forerunner is the same compared to erinas vow. Meanwhile final warning dealing casual 24k per shot against minors in Carl's cave + build in unraveling... Kinda hard to sell forerunner in PvE as a weapon compared to final warning dealing dmg like tarrabah but with always on beast mode.
Just to reiterate, you make it sound as if it's difficult to use verity's + the rock You can set up the rock and then play regularly you keep the rock forever in your pocket. Also keeps your subclass grenade in tact underneath it. That means you can setup a rock for whenever you want, go ham with energy or heavy (LMG sounds good) And when verity's is stacked double dip a rock throw and a subclass grenade throw for chonky bang
I agree. Let Bungie do a change to Mechaneer's Tricksleeves so that it improves sidearms they way that Lucky Pant's improve Hand Cannons. But it might not be as easy as we would like. There are some questions that would rise regarding exotic armor changes. Some people might just like how Mechaneer's Tricksleeves work today, and we dont wan't to ruin the game for them if they use the exotic a lot they way it is today.
Let's do a full on 2023 Deep Dive review of Wish Ender. Tricksleaves is a great exotic that is just too much work to ever use. Exotics should make you feel more powerful, but these feel like a panic button last resort with not enough payoff.
30th anniversary pack should have never come to destiny, brought more bad than good. Would rather take d2 vanilla double primary crucible over crucible with forerunner. If vestian dynasty never came to d1 crucible would be better off.
I mained Forerunner for like 2 seasons in pvp when witch queen came out and when I FINALLY got the catalyst unlocked, not finished, I had already moved on. But I think Ill come back and enjoy it for the rest of the season while barrier sidearm is here and finish that caty 😁
Hey Cross, I have been a sidearms main for years. Once I got my first Ironwreath-D in Destiny 1, I never took it off. Once i got them in D2, I mained tricksleeves. I still do. I love everything you're saying in your deep dive and have been saying the same for some time. Bungie, please, listen to this man, or if not, how about an ornament for tricksleeves?
As an ascendant 1 player(console exclusive) I've have alot of forerunner+ Ikelos players causing issues. Not necessarily slaying. Just making pure console players being worrying to peak in out which in competitive play is a big enough mental play alone

The catalyst is just shaite. The catalyst could be much better but just falls short of expectations. For example why does it need to consume ammo to create that frag nade. Sure just cause Bungie thought on paper it works with their theorized gameplay but in actual gameplay thats never gunna work.
I wouldn't mind another Exotic sidearm that comes with a scope... but uses primary ammo. But limited range is what balances the damage output of sidearms with infinite ammo. Probably not gonna happen. 😟
Cross, can you re-review Cloudstrike? I have it leveled with catalyst and it has been nasty in PvP. I had to land my shorts obviously... but it literally got me flawless for the first time in Trials a few weeks ago!
The being critically wounded in mechaneers tricksleeve make them absolutly useless in mid to high end content unless you want to be contantly revived after killing one champion or wate the whole teams revive tokens in one encounter. When you have such other powerfull DPS options eveb in the primary slot a sidesrm with mechaneers is just never worth it. They need to perhaps change the perk to work like after a precision kill you can chnage to the sidearm and active the perk and use it for 10 secs and give it a 8 or 10 second cooldoen after to reactivate the perkblike lucky pants perk.

Cross you can hold the stat "the rock" then switch weapond. Once you get a kill with the forerunner activate, hold the rock charge, switch weapons, then add stacks of death throws. You don't have to jump through hoops
Give hawkmoon a re review While it's definitely not a meta shifting weapon, that final round is able to put out way above snipers and slug shotguns on it's own and more so with kinetic weapon surge. Plus the damage really helps your super if you're consistent in landing those final paracausal shots
Thanks for reminding me. Threshers need a weak spot. Air intakes, the cannon, something. They are something that are built for you to want to use a high range precision weapon on, and you get nothing which means any sniper (or forerunner) shot is completely wasted
Another thing with this weapon is it's insane hip fire accuracy. It's like Last Word as a sidearm, it has zero bullet spread when firing from the hip. I imagine they made it that way to truly replicate how it is in the Halo games
Hey cross, the catalyst for vex mythoclast does NOT turn it into a linear fusion rifle. The catalyst gives it bonus damage, accuracy, and stability after a kill in its normal firing mode
Compared to forerunner, Eriana's vow needs a large buff. I tried using it in a GM with a solar burn and it barely did any more damage than forerunner, even with death at first glance. It has a slower rate of fire, a smaller reserve, and it's recoil is much more jarring. I want to use it but it does not feel good in high end content
If they really are gonna do that big pass on exotic armor, I hope to God that dawn chorus gets it's scaling super damage back, or I'm gonna send a strongly worded letter to bungie.
i would be fine with hunters getting an exclusive buff, warlocks already have special interactions with poison, hunters can have hand cannons and sidearms

You keep the grenade when you swap weapons so verity's is pretty easy to use. Very fun!

Could you in theory: que up The Rock with a Forerunner kill, switch to your element matching weapon, build up 5x Verity Brow, THEN throw The Rock?
As an avid Forerunner user Yes you can because The Rock replaces your grenade.

This is correct. Anything that buffs/interacts with your GRENADE, though, DOES work with it. Verity's Brow, HoIL, etc. all work with it.

Another tip for HCE, that I hope get's turned into a potential catalyst buff: If your mag is almost empty, double tap your reload and keep the Pistol stowed. This will reload the bad boy in your backpack while keeping you in the fight with your other option. Just swap back once its been about how long the reload animation plays, and BOOM. Fresh mag.
Having the backpack reload as an exotic gauntlet, or a perk for Forerunner, would be pretty neat, and free up your legs for some other mods. Idk it seems neat to me.
Vex catalyst doesn't make it an LFR. That is a default part of the gun. Catalyst just makes the stacks give stats

Addressing the PvP "issue" this is why The Forerunner pairs excellent with the BxR Battle rifle especially if you put incandescent on it.

I thankfully had an old Demolitionist Adrenaline Junkie roll. Although I think Incandescent is much easier to proc, I like being able to proc it with a grapple build since I dont have to use the grapple and instead use The Rock to proc my AJ buff.

It's time. Tricksleeves need a buff. I've always wanted to use them for a sidearm build. But they never got the Lucky Pants treatment. To which I need to try again. It was so good during Curse of Osiris funnily enough.
The Rock doesn’t interact with sidearm perks because it’s a *g r e n a d e*. It might come from Forerunner’s catalyst, but if it overwrites your grenade slot, I don’t think weapon-based builds will interact with it much.

Vex mythoclast has the linear mode by default.
Especially if you want to run Double Special.
A buff to Mechaneers would be cool but also at the same time Forerunner is still kind of in that weird spot where it goes from Great to Mediocre within PvE.
There are some current solo dungeon strategies that make use of it to do some fairly high DPS with the mentioned Trick sleeves but thats about it.
The Ability Based builds you can make with it though thanks to its catalyst are fun though, who doesnt like a bit of high explosives.
They need to make more exotics that work with Sidearms. And yes, i know Hunters have those exotic arms, but i feel like Forerunner would be so much better if it has synergy with an exotic armor piece. Maybe something for Titans? Bring those Master Chief vibes
I use the forerunner and the rock when I'm on my solar titan with healing grenades, the rock procs grenades mods so its really useful to pair with the healing nad

I did the same thing for Strand and Grapple Grenade. Grapple is fun but sometimes you just want a traditional grenande to make things go boom.
A sidearm I think is really slept on in PvE is Cryosthesia 77K. It now has AoE feeeze effect, so you can just shoot the floor next to a group of enemies and freeze them all. It's literally like having a permanent grenade built into your sidearm and all you have to do is get a single kill. Its such a satisfying gameplay loop, especially since sidearms do a lot of damage now. Shoot a red bar, then freeze and entire group and wipe them out. Rinse repeat.
If it wasn't for the class/buff based anti-champion abilities it would see a lot more use. It works wonderfully in anti-barrier role. It's basically the in-between in its own class (also maybe including Eriana's) that's between a high impact hand cannon/scout and sniper rifle.
Mechaneer’s doesn’t stack up against Peacekeepers.
I feel like it’s weird how multiple ppl are pushing for Forerunner to be used… I bet my entire account, they tryna get Bungie to nerf the weapon LOL it never fails, for some reason when I see Cross or Lucky post videos on exotics, they either about to get nerfed through the floor, or buffed. Considering side arms got a buff, I’m sure they are pushing for everyone to use this gun, so it can be nerfed. Nobody ever uses this gun except trials lol it should be left alone, and imo they should post videos where they have ideas for new exotic armors. If Bungie is close to them, Bungie will hear you know? Every time they big up a gun, it gets disabled or nerfed. We NEED a warlock exotic that buffs nova bomb dmg, before the sidearm nobody uses gets nerfed. We need a titan exotic that can buff nades regen/dmg. Hunters? Have everything so idk, give them an exotic with intrinsic shoot to loot or something 🤣🤣

I have almost all of the exotics in this game. I have invested so far almost 5k hours. Some of that is definitely me sitting in orbit while I cook dinner. I keep trying to get friends to try this game, because I love it.
Unfortunately, NOT ONE out of 12 people I GOT to try it stayed. I was not sure why at first. The massive barrier to entry is something to overcome. I thought, at first, it was how many exotics they needed to just break even. That did seem daunting to me when I first started. I asked, most said "Nah, getting those things is exciting. I started ask my friends why they were leaving. Most gave long winded diatribes as to the state of PVP and what is "Meta" and what wasn't. They ALL felt the barrier to high content PVE was almost unattainable. A lot said, "Just learning mechanics was already daunting and they just didn't want to try."
I have come to the realization, that it is overly complicated mechanics that is creating a barrier that most just don't feel is WORTH it to learn. Seriously... The theory crafting of this game is why it will NEVER grow. This video perfectly illustrates that. You seriously need a PHD in destiny to just be on a level playing field. I understand all of what you have said, but what new player wants to go through ALL of those hoops to TRY OUT this game? Who wants to go through the entire learning curve, then acquire ALL OF THE EXOTICS. Than after that, figure out all the combinations of equipment, aspects, and fragments. THEN, what weapons are Meta with what specific perks that are Meta for JUST THAT WEAPON, and how they synergize with the rest to FINALLY give you the ability to go kill someone in PVP on an equal playing field ????? I love the looter part, but MAYBE that is really the largest problem in this game, just all the possible combos.
I AM NOT even going into aim assist in an FPS taking away the MOST IMPORTANT SKILL needed in an FPS. also, how can long ass sniper weapons can be pulled as fast as a sidearm. What about a hand cannon being a better tactical option for most of this game's history than a rapid fire weapon. I have way more of these kinds of inconsistencies, but that is another topic.

If that damage boost from truck sleeves persisted after you got your health back it would likely be way too much in pvp. Forerunner can already 2 tap with trick sleeves activated. It's probably my favorite pvp build for hunters. So if Bungie does want to give it some love, I won't complain. P.S. please give it an ornament

They need to give the tricksleevs the lucky pants treatment. I say they give you the ×2 damage bonus after you swap away from an empty weapon, or the lower the percentage of the other weapons mag, the higher the damage bonus the sidearm gets( up to a 100% bonus at 0% ammo in the other weapon). I think it'd be a good callback to,"Switch to your other weapon, its faster than reloading!😄
In Carl's cave forerunner does 27k, solid sniper like weapon with good economy basicly, what erianas vow is compared to snipers forerunner is the same compared to erinas vow. Meanwhile final warning dealing casual 24k per shot against minors in Carl's cave + build in unraveling... Kinda hard to sell forerunner in PvE as a weapon compared to final warning dealing dmg like tarrabah but with always on beast mode.

You can set up the rock and then play regularly you keep the rock forever in your pocket. Also keeps your subclass grenade in tact underneath it.
That means you can setup a rock for whenever you want, go ham with energy or heavy (LMG sounds good)
And when verity's is stacked double dip a rock throw and a subclass grenade throw for chonky bang
I agree. Let Bungie do a change to Mechaneer's Tricksleeves so that it improves sidearms they way that Lucky Pant's improve Hand Cannons. But it might not be as easy as we would like. There are some questions that would rise regarding exotic armor changes. Some people might just like how Mechaneer's Tricksleeves work today, and we dont wan't to ruin the game for them if they use the exotic a lot they way it is today.
Let's do a full on 2023 Deep Dive review of Wish Ender. Tricksleaves is a great exotic that is just too much work to ever use. Exotics should make you feel more powerful, but these feel like a panic button last resort with not enough payoff.
30th anniversary pack should have never come to destiny, brought more bad than good. Would rather take d2 vanilla double primary crucible over crucible with forerunner. If vestian dynasty never came to d1 crucible would be better off.
I mained Forerunner for like 2 seasons in pvp when witch queen came out and when I FINALLY got the catalyst unlocked, not finished, I had already moved on. But I think Ill come back and enjoy it for the rest of the season while barrier sidearm is here and finish that caty 😁
Hey Cross, I have been a sidearms main for years. Once I got my first Ironwreath-D in Destiny 1, I never took it off. Once i got them in D2, I mained tricksleeves. I still do. I love everything you're saying in your deep dive and have been saying the same for some time.

As an ascendant 1 player(console exclusive) I've have alot of forerunner+ Ikelos players causing issues. Not necessarily slaying. Just making pure console players being worrying to peak in out which in competitive play is a big enough mental play alone

Nobody in my friend group wanted to believe me, this pistol is nutty in PvE. As a mostly solo player, this thing stunlocks and MELTS yellow bars
The catalyst is just shaite. The catalyst could be much better but just falls short of expectations. For example why does it need to consume ammo to create that frag nade. Sure just cause Bungie thought on paper it works with their theorized gameplay but in actual gameplay thats never gunna work.
I wouldn't mind another Exotic sidearm that comes with a scope... but uses primary ammo.
But limited range is what balances the damage output of sidearms with infinite ammo. Probably not gonna happen. 😟
The Vex LFR mode is standard, the Catalyst gives a damage, accuracy and stability buff 🤷

Cross, can you re-review Cloudstrike? I have it leveled with catalyst and it has been nasty in PvP. I had to land my shorts obviously... but it literally got me flawless for the first time in Trials a few weeks ago!

The being critically wounded in mechaneers tricksleeve make them absolutly useless in mid to high end content unless you want to be contantly revived after killing one champion or wate the whole teams revive tokens in one encounter. When you have such other powerfull DPS options eveb in the primary slot a sidesrm with mechaneers is just never worth it. They need to perhaps change the perk to work like after a precision kill you can chnage to the sidearm and active the perk and use it for 10 secs and give it a 8 or 10 second cooldoen after to reactivate the perkblike lucky pants perk.
"and i know my warlocks and titans will be like but cross we will have to play hunter" bruh first time? titans and warlocks have glaive builds even post nerf that hunters cant even 1% of it other than lucky pants hunters have no unique weapon builds in pve meanwhile warlocks have all weapons of sorrow just for them with a gauntlet that makes all of them 10 times better, titan glaive had the highest dps in the game which would force everyone to play titan if bungie hadnt nerfed it, if hunters are the weapon class then we should have more weapon based builds that benefitted only us

Cross you can hold the stat "the rock" then switch weapond. Once you get a kill with the forerunner activate, hold the rock charge, switch weapons, then add stacks of death throws. You don't have to jump through hoops
Forerunner has a 5.2x crit multiplier instead of the original 4x due to Witch Queen buffs for Forerunner to have 30% more precision damage

While it's definitely not a meta shifting weapon, that final round is able to put out way above snipers and slug shotguns on it's own and more so with kinetic weapon surge.
Plus the damage really helps your super if you're consistent in landing those final paracausal shots

Funny it’s STILL comparable to snipers, because in Halo I always thought of it as a one-handed sniper.

Threshers need a weak spot. Air intakes, the cannon, something. They are something that are built for you to want to use a high range precision weapon on, and you get nothing which means any sniper (or forerunner) shot is completely wasted
Another thing with this weapon is it's insane hip fire accuracy. It's like Last Word as a sidearm, it has zero bullet spread when firing from the hip. I imagine they made it that way to truly replicate how it is in the Halo games
Hey cross, the catalyst for vex mythoclast does NOT turn it into a linear fusion rifle. The catalyst gives it bonus damage, accuracy, and stability after a kill in its normal firing mode
Compared to forerunner, Eriana's vow needs a large buff. I tried using it in a GM with a solar burn and it barely did any more damage than forerunner, even with death at first glance. It has a slower rate of fire, a smaller reserve, and it's recoil is much more jarring. I want to use it but it does not feel good in high end content
If they really are gonna do that big pass on exotic armor, I hope to God that dawn chorus gets it's scaling super damage back, or I'm gonna send a strongly worded letter to bungie.

i would be fine with hunters getting an exclusive buff, warlocks already have special interactions with poison, hunters can have hand cannons and sidearms
