I remember that. The villains were like an ancient version of the league. Who had " inside info" on how to beat them ,due to PROPHECIES. I was Disappointed because REALLY except for Flash( who was ambushed) and Martian Manhunter, the Rest of the League just GOT BEAT by beings of like power and ability. A bit of an explanation would have sufficed. Supes didn't just " slam" he was beaten and Thrown into the Plaza. Main problem I have with some writers, since they know little about combat, they just follow their flawed narrative. If our heroes are so good, give legit reasons for defeat. Was still a good story, but..." short cuts".
Yeah the same argument could be said about the death of TDK I mean "died of the last force of the universe" I mean this guy should have died throwing him into the overvoid wich makes more sense TDK is immortal and more durable than everyone In the justice league and yet he's death was a short cut.
Lmao dc is the only place you can find fans that want their op ass characters to never loose unless there is some broken ass plot to kill them.

But I do consider the Avengers and the League, Marvel and DC's Best of the Best( Combat/ Tactics wise) so when a writer just "has them lose", I like a Damn good reason behind it( comic universe wise☝️). ESPECIALLY since DC makes theirs SO "OP"😂. HELL Man, at the very end of that story They had Superman,Wonder Woman and Manhunter move the Moon or some shit. If they were THAT tough, the Chumps shouldn't have lost to begin with....Without good reason.😂

Flash thinks and perceive the world in slow motion, and he is faster than light, but writers keep making him so underpowered
The problem isn't the writers . The problem is the fans... To many fans are trying to make flash out more than what he really is .
I agree with the other comments, but I also like to think his abilities aren't consistently at 100 percent. For example some days I go to the gym I can lift pretty heavy, and depending on my activity levels that week sometimes I can't lift as heavy or put in as much effort. It probably works the same way.

If you are smart enough, if you are a super powered person (which the persons who do it are.), you can absolutely take out the flash and break his legs. In canon people who have trapped or otherwise incapacitated the flash that list is EXTREMELY long lol. Even normal humans have done it. Like Captain Cold.
Flash still has a fallible human brain. All you have to do is have a frictionless surface. Or a trap of some kind that stops his legs or breaks his legs if he reaches that spot. There are many ways to do it successfully and have been done.
In this particular case its a group of super powered individuals that have been around far longer then the justice league and prove to be smarter and stronger then the justice league because they successfully take every single member out. Graveyard dead lol.
Point is having speed doesn't make you invulnerable. Even if you are the fastest person alive. There are still ways to stop you.
@@saibisureddo5657 You know that he could phase through almost anything and could decide to just dip into another universe but vibrating his molecules in a certain frequency, like we talking about a man who can move faster than light a hundred times over and that would mean he has a better reaction speed for example 1 minute can seem like an eternity for speedsters for how fast they process everything there is also a thing called flash time where everything is slowed down just because he moves so fast thats how he preceives I understand that speed isn't everything but you also have to include everything that each character has and how the universe in which the character lives in works

No atlantean is catching the Flash or keeping pace with superman, manhunter is not hurt by fire it is a psychological fear thing, wonder woman is essentially immortal these days and close to supermans strength and green lantern is not only capable of also going faster than light, but he has a personal shield active 24/7 that writers always seem to forget about when they let batman take his ring off or less powerful beings harm him at all.
I think before the next comic of any hero is made, the writers need to sit down and research or have all the abilities and strengths of the heroes explained to them so we can then have something put in to explain why a hero's power level fluctuates, superman has his effected by the weather being sunny or not, flash occasionally has the speedforce sharing stuff going on, might make more sense to just have him actually be hungry and need to eat because of his crazy metabolism, lantern could have his strength tied directly to battery level, wonder woman either proximity to her home island or whichever god she calls upon
And manhunter just needs the fire stuff wiped, he got over numerous times, it's a stupid weakness for an intelligent telepath with heat vision of his own to possess, psionic attacks that scramble his shape shifting would be more interesting and rare enough to not be such an easy way to take down a powerful hero.
Any writer that kills Superman without a solid narrative just advertises their stupidity.
Superman was beat to death by Doomsday before. They don’t really need a solid narrative other than some strong being beating him to death.

Honestly the only death that were bs for me was superman and Diana. The rest were strategically taken down using their powers to their advantage thanks to knowledge about the future. Flash was stunned with magic for only a second with a fallen angel and the others on his tail so it was believable that he was taken down, MM got burned with magic nothing new here, Plastic man wasn't frozen but petrified and shattered into thousands of pieces and scattered around the world and GL while he could just go to space and just kill them he was offered a chance to bring everyone back so he basically surrendered. It's literally almost impossible to ambush the flash. Even if his guard is down so he's not processing time at advanced speeds, think about when you touch the stove and immediately pull your hand back, his reflexes alone would make him dodge the moment anything came into contact with him out of nowhere.
Also even if you cut off his legs his whole body moves at super speeds, he'd be able to hobble away still faster than any non speedster could react.

Whenever Flash loses it's because of the writers if he was actually getting rocked he'd just go back in time and avoid the whooping entirely. Probably pull up with backup and that's why Batman listens to Flash. Even calling him a hell of a messenger after he gave him a letter from his dad from a different timeline.

@chrisdanks741 I remember that. Kelly always wrote a very poignant Plastic-Man, while being one of the few writers who actually wrote some genuinely funny lines for him (I'm sure a lot of that is due to his time on Deadpool). Plastic was FAWKED UP after this, and he quit the league.

I think it's possible to capture the Flash, but I have to admit considering the number of times he's been captured youd think he'd be more guarded and I do feel that it's lazy that he gets captured without explanation, It doesn't have to even be anything major complicated, just put they released a scentless invisible toxic gas & stuck some magic obstacles up so he's not able to run off 10 miles before the effects take hold.

The thing is. Superman wasn’t just flown into the plaza. He was beaten and thrown. Problem is. Superman could’ve easily thrashed them all. His whole character is a gag manga type character. Every other writer stated how dumb this story was. Alongside the justice league dark apocalypse war.

If he was gag manga he wouldn't be trashed so often, thing is writers can go both ways.
