🍸 Sparkling Raspberry Floats
Recipe by: RICARDO www.ricardocuisine.com/en/rec...
Ingredients:
• 2 cups raspberry sorbet
• 4 dessert cups, placed in the freezer for one hour or more
• Edible gold leaf glitter
• 2 cups (500 ml) ginger ale
Instructions:
Place a scoop of raspberry sorbet at the bottom of each dessert or martini glass. Sprinkle with gold leaf glitter.
Pour ginger ale in small glasses and serve alongside sorbet.
Let each person pour soda over sorbet.

I’m older. I met my husband through a matchmaking service. I was working full time, going to school in evenings and had no spare time to meet someone. This was before internet. The service cost $1,000. I figured the cost would eliminate certain types of people who were undesirable to date. They recommended meet the person for coffee first, after speaking on phone to each other at least once, drive yourself and pay for your own coffee at least at the first meeting. It was ironic that we had never met before: he had gone to HS just down the street from where I had gone to HS, he lived less than a mile from my house, we shopped at the same grocery store, his grandfather was in the same profession as my grandfather and they had worked on some of the same projects, he worked with my next door neighbor and they were friends, even his sister had lived next door to my mother ( I was living in a different state at that time). It took the matchmaking service to bring us together.
Yeah i think the reason why you have to pay for tinder now is because no one is using them, heck even bumble is trying to get women back on the apps,and the women are like im happy single😂. One of my favorite things to say is that a bf has to be better than my isolation if im dating someone 😅.

24-year-old single female here! Just thought I’d leave some thoughts:
Coffee/tea is a nice first date if you don’t know the person super well!
But if you do know them well (ex: if you’ve been good friends for a while), activity dates are super fun, too! Having a common goal to accomplish together aside from just the date can help break tension and show you how that person handles different situations.🙂

Don't take a first date on a restaurant. Do something cheap or free that is fun. Go to mini golf, it's cheap and if the date goes bad at least you did something that you enjoyed so it wasn't a total waste.
Mini golf was my husband and I’s first date. Followed by apps at Outback
I see what you mean, but my view is that I have to eat no matter if it's alone or with a date. At least, when the dinner is over it's a signal that I can leave. If it's an activity and the date isn't going well, it's harder to wrap up.

Valentine’s Day as a forced day for lovers is definitely an ick. BUT Valentine’s Day as a fun day to love on and make it all about your kids, game changer!! We decorate for our kids and give them little gifts and our daughter a rose and we make homemade heart pizzas together as a family. It has made it SO sweet ❤❤❤

In this day and age you don't wanna go to a restaurant for the first date, That gets really expensive. You do something simple and affordable like coffee, odds are you meet the person on a dating app and odds are they have a date lined up with someone else the next day. Save dinner when it gets more serious than a first date/ meeting. Really happy I don't have to go on dates anymore.

I am 22 and absolutely love this podcast. I wait for it to come out every week. My husband and I often have dates at Wendy's since that's what fits our current budget and goals. Although, we try to have a bit more set aside for atleast 1-2 higher priced dates in the month (if we have $30 we go to our local diner, if we have $45-60 we go to a bit more elevated place). I'm currently starting college so working around both of our schedules can be hard.

It's hard for youngsters, and for anyone more experienced, too. Too much choice is no bueno. And trust seems to be gone for lots of us out here. Texting someone and situationships galore. So much keeping options open, dating around and saving folks on back burners..... I was recently contacted by someone from hs. They are in an "open" marriage. Ummmm no. It is so wild to be dating at any age in this era.
My husband took me bowling on our first date in summer 1996. Even with shoe rental, the 2 games couldn't have cost more than $15. Was clearly a great date since I married him.

In alot of cases, the woman has already spent a fortune preparing for a date. She spends her money on her hair, makeup, date clothes, perhaps manicures and pedicures. Women constantly spend to look good and appealing. Guys, that should be taken into account before thinking you are spending too much paying for the drinks and dinner.
