    Veterinary inspection and check up, those dogs were very well behaved considering that they were military dogs.

      Just rewatch & read the translation in subsequent order:
      Delivery of wounded medical -& reporting dogs.
      All animals are presented to the Vet on duty and are treated.
      Application of bandages.
      All dogs in treatment are shown to the Vet daily.
      The recovered are going out for the first time.

    So, in which way the german shepherds bred by the nazis was different from the lines that came afterwards? As far as looks go, they look leaner and smaller.

      As with most breeds I believe the dogs were like that to start with, but breedes focused on looks and bone thickness with time. Also, I for one believe that on both sides (east and west) the thicker and bigger dogs were in the backyards of those with dog breeding in mind. I doubt the police and army were concerned with looks.
