You don't like them chocolate nutbars fished outta the honeypot?

    • @Greenmaninthedesert
      @Greenmaninthedesert 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

With the exception that I don’t care for nuts in my chocolate, the honey pot bars don’t worry me.
It’s those beans and eggs that throw me off.

Nothing against the .38 spcl but I prefer the .45 ACP. If I was using a nice vintage single action I’d go ,44-40, .38-40, or .32-20.

Those bodily fluid jokes are rather un-settling to put it nicely. I watched some of the older stuff you did on you tube 8-10 years ago. a calmer approach that I personally enjoyed. Like a lot of people, I would really like to meet you and the crew someday.

Thank you for the tour and showing us the geology which has fascinated me of late. 20, 40' down, but what made you (and thus possibly the Chinese) go down? Was there something on the surface? Or maybe just the prior mining? I get when there's a seam that is followed from the surface, but how would anyone have thought to keep going after 10 or 15' of nothing straight down?

I really enjoyed that tour and the map was helpful as I was confused as to the orientation of which way you were headed at times. Great video Jeff! Maybe you're not aware of this but they have this stuff you can put in eggs, it's called salt and pepper. Then of course you could use hot sauce, not to be confused with warm spit.

I just wrote to Ghost Town Cerro Gordo with Brent (TH-cam) come across his first videos w/GoodMorning television broadcast him purchasing the town.
His first drone video of his town shows piles and mounds of dirt behind his buildings.
I told him to start digging because you mentioned, in your videos, that finding gold is easier near older mines since all the debris dug out has traces of gold.
He isn't too smart, but I'm just educating a rich man with your prospects of finding gold in the easiest spots.
Thanks you for good reasons to have a goal when I retire and I'll sharing any time with those who need FYI Jeff Williams.

I'd enjoy more lengthy videos that are just you working on the mine so we can watch your progress and the mine slowly be expanded. Watching you progress on digging the mine feels similar to watching someone build their off grid cabin or home and is very relaxing to watch. I think timelapses of your progression for each month of progress maybe with a narration of whats was going on during the timelapse would be a fantastic way to bring viewers along the drift mine journey and help people keep along with whats going on.

The best video yet!! Ive been waiting for a video that explains everything that you do in your mine. Your occupation alone is excellent content. I enjoy your sense of humor but I think the serious side of you should be your main demeanor in your videos. A little humor at the beginning, great info and education in the middle and then a little humor at the end. Me and my daughter love your videos, we are Rock Hounds. We have a nice collection of specimens but we don't have any gold examples. Can't afford to be Patreons to get your giveaways but will always watch your videos anyways. Artistic Licence on your Map, Son.
Question? When you dug down in Video One, the old wash channel, clearing out that spot. ECT....
You had to dig just below a High bank to find an odd prospecting site, if that's where the Hidden entrance to your Hidden Gold Mine is. So the Map should be showing 30 to 40 ft down to the upper hard bedrock layer at the bottom of your Entrance Shaft. All that over burden or Hill side.
With the caves travelling or diving down under that, between to two hard layers you talked about..

    • @Askjeffwilliams

I hear you've got a deadly heatwave on the way, in the western half of the States. So you be glad to stay deep down underground and dig out the Mine. Some years back you said the Worm people in the cave system had water, running to the legendary Coco Leaf mine.
Well, now's its time to dig for that cool refreshing wet stuff these coming weeks or months.
Then you can soak in your own lake down there. While up top, Slim an sweat right down to his old bones.
And Navada Jack, can siesta under a cactus waiting for the Buzzards to pick him dry, Boy....
So C'mon On, Son.....lets get it on with the Worm People this Summer....and find Coco Leaf before some Claim Jumper comes out of the Distance Mirage looking for a place to stay.
I've driven through the Desert in a Hearse with No Name.
It's Good to stay out of the Rain....

Jeff, one thing that has always baffled me with the Chinese and their diggings, whether it be there in America or here in Australia, the Chinese always seemed to know where to dig. I mean it's not like they had xray vision and could see through millions of years of built up soil and/or erosion to find where ancient rivers were. Slims Pickin's is getting rather big now and still as impressive as the day you started it.

I’ve been watching your videos from the beginning. It’s kind of like you get a puppy and you don’t notice how much it’s grown until you see old pictures lols. Dang this mine has grown!!! Amazing. All this time and I haven’t become a patreon member 😞I need to
