At about 15:30 Jeff's gold fever kicks in super hard and builds to the point where he completely looses the ability to use his fine motor skills. And for that reason I'm sending you my camera man.
I really want to go prospecting. I even got my metal detector and pinpointer for Christmas, but I'm going to admit that I'm a little scared of catching gold fever; I've heard it's a real thing 😬

I imagine there's a bunch of old fellows in wheelchairs with not much else going on in life, and you just gave him one of the biggest thrills they've had in quite a while. As for me, I'm 15 minutes away from Lytle Creek.... The dog and I gonna go Find a big quartz vein to dig around.
Awesome channel! My Son's and I love digging whether it be metal detecting or surface hunting. I actually bought some panning equipment when we go to Colorado, but no luck yet. At least we can watch someone else find gold. Lol
I was trying to learn how to replace the stater in my motorcycle and somehow I stumbled on to your channel. I've watched 3 of your videos knowing not the first thing about goldmining and have been captivated. You are really good at what you do and an even better video maker. I can't wait to show my kids your channel. I wish I could afford to be a premium supporter and hopefully soon I will be able to help support your work. Keep doing what you're doing, it's really fun watching you.
Roy would be doing the Gold Fever jig right about now, really wish he was still with us to see and feel it in person, but he now has the best vantage point ever, he sure as heck is smiling down upon you guys. That was brilliant Jeff, persistence and determination pointed you in the right direction buddy. Merry Christmas to you, Lila, Nevada Jack and the rest of your family. Stay safe and enjoy the holidays mate, and I look forward to another year of mine working and explorations with every video you release. Take care mate.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your wife. Hope that your Holiday Season is Golden. Thanks for sharing and teaching. Looking forward to another year of great videos and testing your teachings.
though I had some problem with sea water It also th-cam.com/users/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Happy holidays and Felix Navidad Jeff and family. I’ve been following and learning for years now, and it’s been an education. Glad to see you retired the pistol but I miss Slim. Still, I’ve watched you and your product grow and I’m envious of those lucky enough to hang out with you. Keep up with the geology classes, they’re refreshing amongst “...all this craziness.!” Here’s to a safe and productive 2022.😎🙏🏻
Merry Christmas Jeff ! Thank you very much for a very informative and entertaining year! If you ever put that collapseable shaft on that monster you will see a HUGE difference on how much easier it is to work in those tight spaces. Stay safe and Thanks again.
This so reminds me of some of the work I’ve done and how frustrated I would get because of tools in the way, too far away or in a pit and not having the tool at all and then having to get repositioned. I feel your pain Brother!
I wasn’t really sure of that method, but I was really hoping that grout would work. Never heard of that method. That’s why I love this channel. It’s constantly teaching me new things. Merry Christmas, Jeff. Best of health and luck next year.
@@Askjeffwilliams what if you had drilled a single hole in the middle of that spot but didn't grout it? i was thinking if you could drill a disable hole there all the pressure would lead towards it. and, maybe you could use a diamond saw to make a grid or lines of slots to score the surface a couple inches deep. or, maybe you could use the saw and make cuts you could then wedge apart using hydraulics. lots os possible ways i can think of to do it. but, you would know best all things considered.
Congrats on the nuggets and the excitement continues to build! I do believe it's time for some real explosives, and not just the beans... Be safe and Merry Christmas Jeff to you, the Family and all of our Community! Keep living the Dream and we are here with you for 2022!!!

@@Askjeffwilliams I think you'll need more than every other hole. Maybe like 12 holes an inch apart in a roughly circular pattern. Basically Swiss cheese a 8 - 10 inch diameter patch in the center of that area you want to break up. Fill the outer holes with the grout and pop out a hole. Then work outward from that hole... more drilling, but it would work.
I watched them use dexpan to split a large Boulder they couldn't blast near an underground gas line, but dexpan needs room to expand,if no room,it probably is why it didn't crack your collechy bed! Happy new year Jeff! From Arc Exploration Inc.
Congratulations on you finds, looks like you may be closer to the source with nuggets of that size. Calichie behaves like cement, or a ceramic it will only fail (crack) in tension if its in compression it will not fail. I'd shoot it like a tunnel blast out some where for it to go then kick the edges, have you tried a couple of shallow blasts to ablate the surface in a couple of shots. E.g 2 ft hole do it 2x or attempt to get the powder under the layer and try to lift it with the blast.. Or just flood the mine with acid and hope it breaks it down...
@@Askjeffwilliams if you go back to the expanding grout try using a fairly close drill pattern and only fill every other hole to try to get the crack to propagate to the empty hole
Caliche is mud mixed with limestone, so yeah, just like cement lol. Mild muriatic acid is great for getting it off of metals, just dont let it sit for more than about 15 minutes
Hey Jeff! Awesome work! Something you may want to consider is using a hydraulic ram to break through that Caliche like butter. Here’s a video from the funny and amazing Colin Furze, he built a tunnel though rock between his shed and his house. Here’s the video showing the hydraulic ram he used and he shows how to build it in his other videos. Time stamp 3:13 th-cam.com/video/WIe5GKyLPek/w-d-xo.html have a great night!

Isn't it amazing how different those beeps sound when you're detecting and when it's measuring some tool flying by? It's all in the ear of the beholder, and what's going on at the time. 🙂 Just my take, but I would have picked that jackhammer back up after about the 3rd or 4th hand hammer attempt at that hole. I think investing in some 'all' plastic lights might be a good idea.
Jeff, I just discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I've already passed it on to friends. I am suffering from cancer and on the most difficult days, you still manage to hold my attention and make me laugh. Thx. Your a Rock Star! HA, back at ya 😅

Ask Jeff Williams, Cool trick to silence the metal detector while digging out a target. Carry a headphone jack adapter in an easy to reach pocket. Very small and lightweight. When plugged in, the speaker on the detector will be disabled. Great when working tight spaces!
I'm a surveyor. We use metal dectors to find property pins. Some advice: Move the detector slowly and methodically. You'll be able to pin point your target's location

Great video Jeff, love the way you lost that nugget it slid out of your plastic scoop and when you thought it was in your hand it was already on the gold monster coil and every time you ran the scoop over the coil the scoop hit the coil moving it picking up the nugget. I just had to rewind that video because I wondered how that gold nugget got away on you. Great job buddy. So come, let’s go. 👍🤠
Another blast down in the mine with Jeff - no pun intended, but I guess someone was looking down on you for this to happen. Top video, mad as ever but very infectious. Take care JW and Merry Christmas ...
I love dexpand!I use it to remove giant boulders on people properties in the greater Seattle area where we cannot under any circumstances use conventional methods. It usually takes about three or four applications to get a small car sized rock removed but it's cool stuff that really works if you have the time to wait.
I Short Stick-ed my Gold Monster 1000 with a 24inch long (Valencia Pipe 1/2" SCH40 PVC 1120) I bought in Pahrump Nevada Home Depo (didn't even have to Cut they sell 24" long pieces)... I used the 5inch coil and the Minelab Broom Handle repair piece and Just the control Box... The Short GM1000 Detector Works Great in Mineshafts and on my knees using with my GPZ-7000 (and I found GOLD with it) ... From ALBERTA CANADA
Jeff your the best I learned alot just from your video and I really don't know anything about minerals. I'm going to watch more of your videos. Thanks for sharing
On the expansion fluid try drilling additional holes and do not put the fluid in them which will give the ones with expansion fluid a plact to expand to this may work. We use this on pipeline ditches in residential area with very little suggest in hard rock granite and shale. Went back to to blasting and hydralic jack hammers on back hoe which you can not use in your mining.
Good to see santa left you some nice Nuggies and you are about to make someone elses Christmas, So to you and yours from me and mine have a great Christmas and a fantastic Newyear.
Woo-hoo now those are pretty nuggets good work Jeff I have dug similar ground by hand with iron chisels and its not easy above ground with room to move and fresh air
Congratulations sunny boy. Sorry to hear about your illness. I’ve been watching you since you was a crazy cabin boy oh some years back. I liked ya cus you remind me of a miner I worked with back in ‘77 way up near Hudson’s Bay. Wishin u success.
Maybe do 6in expanding grout at bottom of drilled hole. Wait 24hrs. Then lite charge blast with explosives. Expanding grout will kinda stop downward thrust. Allowing horizontal energy thrust to fracture designated area. Kinda like a cork plugging things up. Keep us posted Jeff. Love the modern day prospecting videos

Very entertaining man! I was frustrated and then thrilled to find the nuggets right along with you.
I’ve went down the rabbit hole, I’ve always been curious about prospecting. I love your charisma I stumbled on this channel and am BINGING these videos. Count me as one more sub 😂
thanks Keith
Great video Jeff, love the way you lost that nugget it slid out of your plastic scoop and when you thought it was in your hand it was already on the gold monster coil and every time you ran the scoop over the coil the scoop hit the coil moving it picking up the nugget. I just had to rewind that video because I wondered how that gold nugget got away on you. Great job buddy. So come, let’s go. 👍🤠
Congratulations Jeff, that's the stuff of dreams and a very Merry Christmas to you.
No, you didn’t persuade me one bit, I still want to dig, dig and dig. Great video Jeff!
Another blast down in the mine with Jeff - no pun intended, but I guess someone was looking down on you for this to happen. Top video, mad as ever but very infectious. Take care JW and Merry Christmas ...
Dude you get so damn excited!! It’s awesome. I get that same exact feeling lol
Just come across your video a little late but I sure enjoyed it Jeff. You're a hard-working man.
thanks and welcome aboard
It's amazing how you forget how tired you are when your on the track! Great video Jeff!
thanks
Merry Christmas to you and your family! Awesome find! 😎
Jeff your the best I learned alot just from your video and I really don't know anything about minerals. I'm going to watch more of your videos. Thanks for sharing
Awesome, thank you!
Dude, you are my hero. EPIC prospecting... Cant wait this start this amazing hobby...
If anyone deserves a shiny New year its you buddy. Keep up the awesome and educational vid brotha 👌🏻 💪 👏
Congratulations sunny boy. Sorry to hear about your illness. I’ve been watching you since you was a crazy cabin boy oh some years back. I liked ya cus you remind me of a miner I worked with back in ‘77 way up near Hudson’s Bay. Wishin u success.
thanks .... some would say I am still a little crazy hahhahaha thanks , really appreciate that
Those nuggets are Monsters. Nice work Jeff. Keep the awesome videos coming. Love your work.
Thanks 👍
Absolutely amazing place !! Love it !! 😄
The gold laughter😂😂😂 and when the dirt enters your mouth🤣🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁 ppzzz
Maybe do 6in expanding grout at bottom of drilled hole. Wait 24hrs. Then lite charge blast with explosives. Expanding grout will kinda stop downward thrust. Allowing horizontal energy thrust to fracture designated area. Kinda like a cork plugging things up. Keep us posted Jeff. Love the modern day prospecting videos
will do
Jeff is da bomb and has had me watching these gold mining Vidjas for 3 hours now and now I gotta get up and get ready for the day damn it TH-cam
