In food service we call it shuttle driver or transit driver. I don’t know how other food service companies are but at Gordon Food Service you can be a new hire an get a shuttle driver position if there’s an opening. We have a couple of shuttle drivers at my location who came in with 0 driving experience. They obviously had to obtain their doubles endorsement but that’s it. Our guy’s go from Mobile, AL to Montgomery AL and back. The shift is from about 6pm to 1-2am depending on delays. Easy money but they don’t make as much as the delivery driver’s for obvious reasons. We do more work! Good video bro..
Recently applied for a AAA Cooper position delivering wood chips and sawdust in the Georgia area. Home daily. Got contacted by a recruiter and hopefully my background comes back okay. I have a prior. If I get it would like to really transfer over to the line haul division at some point. Do you know if AAA Cooper have automatics? I have a restriction.
@@cwilliams7630 yes we have a terminal in Augusta & W. Columbia both are small terminals, ngl it can be difficult to get linehaul out of small terminals like that since they don’t have many runs but best of luck with that dedicated account lmk how everything goes💯
@@Trucker__Dee yeah, but once you're in you're in right? Like once you're AAA Cooper employee if you were to relocate somewhere and they happen to have an opening for line haul or whatever you would be able to have access to it easier than if you weren't right
