    I’ve been a city driver for years. This was a very easy day.I didn’t see one inside delivery or residential deliveries. These LTL companies will send you to do a residential delivery with a 53 foot trailer,they do not care. Or break down multiple pallets of boxes and two wheeler them into a building.All the time screaming at you on the radio hurry up and get to your next stop.

    • @larryemens7894
      @larryemens7894 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I give her props but i want to see some inside deliveries. Definitely see her use a liftgate too.

  • @slay3rsaber
    @slay3rsaber 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    About heavy pallets. Use gravity to your advantage. I don't know NA trailers but if it is possible to lower the suspension, then do it and/or rise suspension in semi so the floor will tilt downward towards door. And when loading heavy stuff rise suspension in trailer or lower it in semi. Pallets will roll themselves just don't allow them to go too fast. :)

    • @briatrucking

      That’s a great tip, thank you. I will keep that in mind.

  • @weirdfan88
    @weirdfan88 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    Those residential deliveries will be fun. I remember when I did LTL I had to decline a few residentials deliveries because they would give me a 53ft trailer and there was no way it would fit through some of those streets.

    • @shiggity42
      @shiggity42 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you have no lift gate, how do you do a residential pick up or delivery?

    • @weirdfan88
      @weirdfan88 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@shiggity42 It depends on the product. Sometimes, it's something light, but it's just really long, so you can carry it or use a dolly.

    Nice job! My only advice is when picking up any drums especially hazmat, always be sure to strap them to the walls. They do tend to shift, plus when they go to break your trailer at the yard, they see that you took the time to secure your load properly...oh yea AND D.O.T. wants to see that stuff strapped FYI..otherwise great video and keep up the videos 👍🏽

      Either a pallet jack chock block, or a strap. The chock has a square in the middle where the wheels drop into. Works great, never had an issue.

    • @briatrucking

You take .15 x 100(before 2024 1/100 stock split) it still would be $15 per share not .15 cents😂 especially at that time, it was just like 80% who when bankrupt, but thanks to those youtube investors cult, it's overrated just like tsla. Yes. I worked at Estes Express for 2 years. These LTL companies require tanker because you’ll be picking up totes of liquid that weighs 100’s of pounds. A few times I had a pick up where they fully loaded my trailer with liquid totes front to back….After so many pallets and pounds of liquid, that’s where it requires tanker.

    As you get more familiar with your route, it will be very helpful to memorize what time all the customers close and knowing what's in your trailer and where it's going ahead of time so you can deliver out of order, moving some pallets out of the way behind it to do so. I used to have a customer that closed at 2:30 and they always put it as one of my last stops. If I didn't adjust, they never would have gotten their stuff.

    Good job 👍. You got it all done.. except for the one. Bummer that you got delayed at the last one and had to get all wet.🍻🍩

    As far as topics, now that you've switched from the LNG tractors to conventionally fuelled, do you notice any difference? I'm sure the extra light in the cab is welcome if it's not too hot.

    Love the less than truckload pick up and delevery videos Bria. Maybe at some point your company will get you drivers electric pallet jacks....... Riding with Chuck at Estes express had one for his deliveries, less chance of getting hurt and more productive, just a idea.
