impressive, it seems like everything is easy for her to play although the concert demands extraordinary skills. I cannot stop listening to this music

Yuja is dressed of the jazz age, I guess. I like her dressed as herself. Ravel fits right in, showing what a genius he is.

She 'nailed' this 'movement'. But it's the 2nd movement that separates the virtuoso from the truly exceptional artist(e). A lovely debate has ensued as to whether Yuja's reached the 'top of the leader board' re. the 2nd. (We should all be so LUCKY to be the subject of debates LIKE THAT!)

I feel like the orchestra just doesn't play at her level. They seem to have trouble keeping up almost.

How shameful that you cannot discern Chinese from Japanese. I cringe and tremble at the thought of our crime of being absolute racists when it comes to how we view different cultures.

You will be pleased to hear you may well be wrong. The Nukes were dropped on Japan. Yuja is Chinese. It is a considerable "walk" betwixt the two places.

I Hate the Party .what are you talking about? A reacquaint, or is it the first look, at world war history.

I Hate the Party Perhaps the civilians didn’t deserve it but Japan as an invader and Axis did. Educate yourself please, do you have any knowledge of the horrendous crimes the Japanese army committed to the Chinese and Korean? Yet the Japanese government is still denying, and even glorifying their invasion to the new born generations. How dare you have the balls to defend them?! And also to you as an American, have you forgotten that they bombed your Pearl Harbor first? As the Chinese say, forgetting your history is an act of betrayal. We remember history not because of hatred, but to prevent the tragedies of history from ever happening again.
