As an ISFP with social anxiety, I was always confused about myself since I do enjoy talking to people, however I have a really hard time approaching people. Often, for people like me, we find it hard to approach people, but once we do feel comfortable to do so, we can easily lead a conversation.
This hits very close to home. Breaking the ice in the beginning is the hardest, but after getting to know someone better it becomes far less stressful to engage in a conversation and starts being fun too
Brilliant video. Very accurate. Just remember that not all ISFP are 'artists'.. Its more that they bring creativity and self expression to what they do.. Even an accountant can find creativity in their work.
"Though their lives may look chaotic to others, they are in fact guided by an inner sensitivity that allows them to find great pleasure and meaning in whatever they are presently pursuing." Never felt so called out yet validated at the same time.

Right? I have met so many INFPs myself, but only one other ISFP 🤨 I tend to meet the other types but none of my own for some reason, it's weird to think that ISFPs wouldn't be considered uncommon or even rare.. But maybe that's just my own experience
Very important to note that ISFPs are *artistic, not artists*. Being drawn towards aesthetics is not equivalent to creating aesthetics. For example, an ISFP might love paintings they deem beautiful, songs catchy, architecture pleasing - this is not the same as having an interest in painting, songwriting, or design. In fact, I believe the real artists are INFPs, even if they may not see it. Both types love self-expression, but INFPs make arts for arts' sake; ISFPs make arts for a concrete reason (e.g. moral of stories, feelings they have, social critiques etc.). If you meet an ISFP, please don't assume that they like to doodle in their free time.
@@sweetbliss710 photography, cooking and songwriting are mine. I don't particularly care about fashion for my own sake since I'm a guy who has no fashion sense.
So basically from what I read so far is.. INFP are the ones that creates art for the sake of art means it can be nonsense or delusional or crazy depending on how others perceive or interpret it. While ISFP are ones that creates art that combines all elements of science, math and art using logic and sense which makes their art more understandable or relatable using rational thinking? I haven't watch the INFP yet because I just took the test and it said I was ISFP. So I am trying to understand myself since people around me, particularly my parents, always say my life is chaotic and aimless. But after watching this video, I am starting to like myself more and the personality traits that I have. However, I think I have ADD tendency as well since I have problems communicating. Writing is fine but when I talk, my wordings are not organised. I'll watch the INFP next.

Spot on video, I have never once made a 1, 2 or even 5 year plan about where my life is heading. I just know that the direction I am going is the right one because I follow my Fi and let it guide me forward. Sure I can picture in my head the end goal but not how to get there. I am most definitely on a journey of self expression and the longer I go the more I am myself and that is all I am really after.
Since finding out I'm an ISFP, I have learned so much about myself and this video is very validating. I've grown to appreciate that I can live in the moment and find so much beauty in my day to day, be practical and be attuned with feelings of myself and other. However, being in a relationship with a very logical thinker who likes to plan and work towards LT goals have really highlighted my flaws. I found myself frequently avoiding important conversations regarding future planning that were hard or emotional and not wanting to commit to plans/changes which doesn't feel right or brought up anxiety. This obviously affected my relationship as I came off as dismissive and flippant, or that my feelings about things were more important than the thing itself. Looking back, I also feel that I missed opportunities in my career by being so short sighted. I used to think that there was something very wrong with me and question why I can't seem to be driven and put aside my emotions. This contributed to my very poor self esteem. But I'm now trying very hard to find balance, in respecting the strengths, which is my sensitivity, practical nature and openness to different paths, whilst being honest to myself about my weakness and gradualy building my capacity to be more goal oriented, regulate my emotions better so that I can handle difficult conversation and be able to appreciate and practice logical/theoretical/abstract ideas which doesn't come naturally to me. Just putting this out there as it has taken many years to come to this point of accepting myself & committing to personal growth rather than being in a state of self hatred or denial. Hope that any ISFPs feeling insecure about their personality or capabilities might benefit from this. Wishing you all the best!
Fun fact: ISFPs are the most extroverted introverts. More energized and by the outside world and more sociable than INFP, INTP, ISTP, INTJ, ISTJ, ISFJ and INFJs.
Good at art? No such thing. Just because you aren’t killing it in art class or are afraid to be in one does not mean you aren’t ‘good at art’. Art is about expression and also all art is up for personal interpretation. Don’t let grades, comparisons to peers or societal norms define if you can be an artist. Just do what you love. I’m isfp and I find a way to make things beautiful to me, often that’s through craftsmanship process not necessarily the aesthetic of the final piece of work. I also find it difficult to interact with people until I’m very comfortable. I’m saying all of this from my own experience. I just don’t like it when people think they aren’t good enough. That was me for far too long.
The thing about ISFP is you could be friends with everyone, know everyone but only few people you are close to. And how ISFP jump into one to other things are so right, i haven't found myself able to complete things that i do perfectly.
i have only like 2 close friends that i talked everyday. but i remember when i was in high school my friend is mad at me cuz i ignored her, she said i have too many friends that i did not acknowledge her presence 😭😭😭

ESFJ’s are your best bet for a mate. Although, they’ll never really get you but then, who will? Beware of boozers, users, losers and narcissists. All of the above will be drawn to you.
@Hrie Eoi Nono, that test isn't very good, it doesn't count the cognitive functions, which are the most important factors to determine your MBTI type, so it mistypes almost all the time, that's why a lot of people think they're INFPs when they're not
can i just point out how this unique 'tolerance' and 'all walks of life' was represented as the white character just talking to brown people, instead of showing variety in intrinsic characteristics/personalities. hanging out with programmers, artists, and librarians is a personality trait - talking to brown people isn't.
i feel like INFPs don't know what they want and the ISFP type is kind of what they evolve into once they become more assertive...i mean INFPs seem to overthink everything and live in their head a lot, whereas ISFPs just do it...at least that's my case...i always fluctuate between INFP and ISFP because i'm 49% intuitive and 51% observant...so in times of doubt and existential crisis, i tend to be an INFP, and as soon as i briefly get my shit together, i'm more of an ISFP type...but then i don't completely identify as an ISFP because i'm big on words and feelings and daydreaming and idealizing everything...so i guess i'm an INFP who's not happy about it because it gets me no where...
Ahh I was also an INFP once but now I'm 100% ISFP! For me though, everything changed once I started changing myself and my views on myself as well as on others. As an INFP, I hardly knew myself or what I wanted, I got misunderstood a lot because it was hard for me to explain things to others. I was confused all the time. But now, as an ISFP, I know myself really well and can explain my feelings and thoughts to others, express myself well. I became more practical instead of being a dreamer, I rely on my past experiences rather than my imagination. I don't get misunderstood anymore. One could say I became a lot more self-aware and observant of myself. Random story, but I felt like sharing 👨🏻🌾
As an ISFP I bring my creativity to my clothing not caring what ppl think but in my office they are like "no Rochelle you wear cant wear those pieces together" will you let me live smh
You be you Rochelle! People will try to put you in a box, slide you into a groove or nail you down. One of my ex’s once said “trying to nail you down is like trying to nail down a cloud”. I believe that’s true for all us ISFP type.

I’m trying to find my type, I keep thinking about it at night. I can relate to everything in this vid except that I’m not that artistic and I don’t have many friends😞
alright so im kind of confused with my mbti, im either infj (i relate to this more) but recently i took it over after some couple month and im isfp. so could you guys tell me which one am i? im afraid of people sometimes when im on the streets, i think persons are judging me i like to learn different language (but my determination skills are lacking) i mostly listen to people when they are talking. i dont make friends easily. i dont pot anything on social media, only use it to look on what other persons are doing. i dont like groups assignments. i love to sleep i love to be by myself, most of the time even though i may be introverted, if you get to know me, i extroverted im weird, (doing random stuffs) i always hurt myself like trip. i love to watch youtube i like when my opinions are heard but cant say it out loud to persons i dont know. sometimes i get disappointed in myself. i love to help others i cant say no to people, but when im helping them and they dont cooperate i tend to not have patience but will hide it. i also dont know how to open up to someone, but if someone is to open up to me, i will be willing to help them. i tend to hide my feeling to myself. i often cry in a sad show and when i dont want to cry and laugh along with it.
cant differentiate between isfp and entp i swear i got mistyped all the time but im really leaning towards isfp more now (unhealthy isfp can be a bit similar to entp)
Even tho the video is pretty accurate to me i think the same as you, we are not defined as ONE thing. People change, we all change. I wasnt always an ISFP. It feels like these types are trying to put people in a box. It is to take with a grain of salt in my opinion.
in the personality test it always sais I am an INFP BUUUT ı know that for sure I am an ISFP because: - I care a lot about my looks n tend to dress to impress a lot more than an INFP would. - I have literally zero f***s to give about other people or society at large but I care deeply about my inner circle. (family, couple of friends and lover) - I am a visual arts kinda person. I love drawing n all the other ISFP kinds of arts n people around me mostly call me an artist although I never studied art (I studied translation)

ESFJ’s are your best bet for a mate. Although, they’ll never really get you but then, who will?
Beware of boozers, users, losers and narcissists. All of the above will be drawn to you.
I had done the test 4 times in different years and in each one got ISFP :)
I was an ISTJ before COVID happened and then I went through 1.5 years of online school and I'm an ISFP
This describes me almost perfectly, although I’m not an artist. I tend to express my creativity through my actions :)
very accurate. thanks
i'm either an isfp or infp djddjdjdjdjdj i cant tell
@Hrie Eoi Now I know I'm an isfp lol
@Hrie Eoi um. Both??
do the 16 personality test!
@Hrie Eoi Nono, that test isn't very good, it doesn't count the cognitive functions, which are the most important factors to determine your MBTI type, so it mistypes almost all the time, that's why a lot of people think they're INFPs when they're not
@@vii6429 Same lmaoo 😭✋
can i just point out how this unique 'tolerance' and 'all walks of life' was represented as the white character just talking to brown people, instead of showing variety in intrinsic characteristics/personalities. hanging out with programmers, artists, and librarians is a personality trait - talking to brown people isn't.
really liked the video otherwise
Yeah I wish they would’ve shown people who have different jobs and backgrounds.
This main character seems Asian coded. But yeah it's like saying brown people are the "other"
This is so accurate!!!
so accurate wow
i feel like INFPs don't know what they want and the ISFP type is kind of what they evolve into once they become more assertive...i mean INFPs seem to overthink everything and live in their head a lot, whereas ISFPs just do it...at least that's my case...i always fluctuate between INFP and ISFP because i'm 49% intuitive and 51% observant...so in times of doubt and existential crisis, i tend to be an INFP, and as soon as i briefly get my shit together, i'm more of an ISFP type...but then i don't completely identify as an ISFP because i'm big on words and feelings and daydreaming and idealizing everything...so i guess i'm an INFP who's not happy about it because it gets me no where...
omfg same with the 51% observant thing, I feel like i evolved from infp to isfp, which is big pp
I hear ya!
INTJ here. Nice way to see myself as the other side of the same coin.
This is very accurate
I feel....... understood 😳
That is sooooooo accurate
That intro music is 🔥🔥🔥
true! I like reading about peoples daily life than talking about mine
Accurate
as an isfp with depression, I find it rlly hard going out of my room lol. I remember I used to be so lively and outgoing as a child but now? absolutely not
I think I finally found my type.
woow my friend is an isfp and this fits her sooo well!
woahhh ur friend must be rlly happy if he/she know u find out abt him/her!!! ur such a good friend
I’m trying to find my type, I keep thinking about it at night. I can relate to everything in this vid except that I’m not that artistic and I don’t have many friends😞
maybe you’re not an artsy type but i guess you are still creative :D
Being isfp feels like a label, I hate labels as an Isfp that I am, but it's truly who I am, wow. Chaotic right, bet yaa... Hahaha
Nailed it to a T.
alright so im kind of confused with my mbti, im either infj (i relate to this more) but recently i took it over after some couple month and im isfp. so could you guys tell me which one am i?
im afraid of people
sometimes when im on the streets, i think persons are judging me
i like to learn different language (but my determination skills are lacking)
i mostly listen to people when they are talking.
i dont make friends easily.
i dont pot anything on social media, only use it to look on what other persons are doing.
i dont like groups assignments.
i love to sleep
i love to be by myself, most of the time
even though i may be introverted, if you get to know me, i extroverted
im weird, (doing random stuffs)
i always hurt myself like trip.
i love to watch youtube
i like when my opinions are heard but cant say it out loud to persons i dont know.
sometimes i get disappointed in myself.
i love to help others
i cant say no to people, but when im helping them and they dont cooperate i tend to not have patience but will hide it.
i also dont know how to open up to someone, but if someone is to open up to me, i will be willing to help them.
i tend to hide my feeling to myself.
i often cry in a sad show and when i dont want to cry and laugh along with it.
@보라색달 thank you very much, i was confuse about this because when i took the tests im either an infj or isfp. so im shook im not none of those.
Oh god the flute 😂😂😂
Any other veterinarians or doctors on here? I’m trying to integrate my ISFP personality within my workplace.
I enjoy having an isfp personality
cant differentiate between isfp and entp i swear i got mistyped all the time but im really leaning towards isfp more now (unhealthy isfp can be a bit similar to entp)
I'a ISFP for sure now
Will be seen as aimless and chaotic
I’m an ISFP and I agree with those. ;)
Can you do an infp #2 video please??
Gee, i LOVE being an ISFP
I am either ISFP or ISTJ in a blink of a moment HAHAH :,)
I'm an enfj and love isfp
Dead on accurate
wow this was so me I'm a bit offended
INFP here 💓
My Dear God.....
That's so Me!
of course every person has their nuances
I thought I was INFP now I am confused
❤❤
❤❤
My emotion compressing me is a entp and i turn into a ixfp after time
Yep that is me alright
Very accurate!
Except the thing I'm really antisocial and I can't make friends easily 😃
When I first thumbnail I thought it was going to be in a more of a joking format XD
The problem I see is that the description of someone’s personality in this sense is just hit and miss. In other words not 100% accurate.
auhsohej research cognitive functions and it should make more sense.
Even tho the video is pretty accurate to me i think the same as you, we are not defined as ONE thing. People change, we all change. I wasnt always an ISFP. It feels like these types are trying to put people in a box. It is to take with a grain of salt in my opinion.
Watch c.s joseph
We can be chameleon like
I wish I could be as cool as insp from a ensp
I feel like this is me
This is me in 5 and half mins. 😌🥰
in the personality test it always sais I am an INFP BUUUT ı know that for sure I am an ISFP because:
- I care a lot about my looks n tend to dress to impress a lot more than an INFP would.
- I have literally zero f***s to give about other people or society at large but I care deeply about my inner circle. (family, couple of friends and lover)
- I am a visual arts kinda person. I love drawing n all the other ISFP kinds of arts n people around me mostly call me an artist although I never studied art (I studied translation)
