This fun and effective class offers movements to help you become stronger, steadier, and safer. The exercises target the specific components of balance that are often impacted by Parkinson’s disease, including limits of stability, anticipatory postural adjustments, and reactive responses. The class is done standing. We recommend that you stand near a sturdy surface for safety when performing the exercises. Please note that due to the nature of a virtual balance class, some participants may also want to have a loved one nearby.
Instructor:
Dr. Tricia H. Creel, PT, DPT, NCS, physical therapist and co-founder of MDT Education Solutions
