Bridge Crossing || Half-Life 2 Ambience

The Combine are on the move. Just like everyone else they are trying to get away from the ruins of City 17, consolodate their power to try and wrest back control. I had no idea there were so many left, though, we thought most of them were wiped out with the Citadel. We don't want to be seen so better wait here until they finish crossing... however long that may be...

I loved that scene in half life 2. this franchise has impeccable story telling. Seeing the last few powers of combine cross this bridge, both showing their desperation and destruction but also giving another kind of glimpse into how fast they managed to handle this situation. trying their best to control city 17 and getting their last troups out of there, now striding losely organised but still structured along this path.
its an impressive sight and still holds up today.
