LOL! All that money and they put in a budget space for the NVME. I at least expected 2TB. 1TB is chump change.

The double Xeon CPU combos on ali express. Haha
Very true. Its a shame but at the same time great hardware depreciates in value. Its great to buy it cheaper in a coupel years, its great that more advancements are being made, but damn, the loss of value sucks.

when a 4090 bottlenecks your system, you know that you reached a new lvl
Actually these dual cpus models arent the ideal for the 4090 that it is too much for these 9754, this cpu hits max 440 points in single at cpu-z, the same of a Intel Core i7-7700 from 2017. The ideal would be a 9174F or 9274F (my choice), on max the 9374F. These are real gaming-server cpus capable of.
Hitting 21FPS on Cyberpunk with a $37,000 workstation says so much about what's wrong with Cyberpunk.
So it's an optimization problem like the OP said ....
Bruh
Obviously the epyc server CPU isn't optimized to play games
So even with a 4090 it wouldn't work great, and even then
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 brought so much optimization that I can play it with med-high settings on 1080p in 60 fps plus easily with a 970 or 1070
they played that game at 4k with raytracing...
just think about that first for a second.
@@flashicles With the best video card on the market and a god-tier computer, think about that for a second.

13:34 even a 37,000 dollar PC stutters on Fornite. Crazy.
kids play that cancer anyway
i ain't got no problems on fortnite with my pc, got rx 7900xtx + 7800x3d
That usually means the game isn’t optimized 100%
@@Alex-Proud-American for a 37,000 I would expect that shit to not matter. But I guess it don't work like that
because the amd epyc cpu isnt for gaming due to its really low single core performance. it just isnt a gaming pc.
playing 4k on a dual epic setup is wild, just test in 1080p or 720p or whatever to see that epic performance, eitherway is just a 4090 benchmark
I expected that too, but it wont go too far as the 9754 wont give a lot... it hits max 440 points in single at cpu-z, the same of a Intel Core i7-7700 from 2017.
I have always enjoyed the budget builds, but watching ridiculous builds like this is really amazing!! Thank you for doing this!
Bro it hurts my mind when I'm thinking that this CPU, on 4k max settings the usage is like 0-3%
It will blow your mind when you realise that the cpu is a bottleneck for the 4090. Btw on 1080p the cpu usage would be much "higher".
@@PhysPushscale yeah.. it's so weird
The 4090 is too much for these dual 9754 bro, the ideal to avoid this bottleneck would be a higher clock and single thread cpu like the 9174F or the (m pick) 9274F, then you would see a possible double fps and a (still) low cpu usage.
Nobody:
Toasty Bros: Gaming on a $37,000 dollar computer!
I'm incredibly disappointed that you didn't show the individual threads in task manager LOL
Thanks for the video
This cpu hits max 440 points in single at cpu-z, the same of a Intel Core i7-7700 from 2017.
Wow, Halo looks absolutely amazing on this setup.
Fortnite too lol. Seeing those games at 4k vs 1440p, I was just star struck by how incredible it looked
Cyberpunk ran perfectly with Ultra Ray Tracing. Path Tracing you may need the 14900KS though.
This PC is insane. Because of the CPU, you could have this PC for 16 years and just replace the GPU every 2-8 years and replace the SSD every 5 years.
and still that frame drop to 478fps will completely destroy gaming experience...
I love how the cpu usage was between 0-1%
What's up with the massive bow in the top shelving in the background? lol
Cyberpunk has issues with multi-CPU systems, where some of its processes can end up being assigned to an entirely separate CPU. Beyond that from other tests, it seems many games start to run into issues after 64 cores.
PC, photoshop also has issues when there are a large number of cores and threads.
Last year I built a dual Epyc 74F3 watercooled with DeepCool LT720 (and 3d printed adapters for the socket) + a 3090 Ti and it performs around 70 fps avg on 2.5k ultra + dlss and RT. No issues.
So, doing the maths, that means I should be able to get 100 FPS for just $7400!
that’s bad math
37,000 dollars should have included a lint roller for my dude's hoodie. lol
Bruh my eyes work around 300 fps while this setup goes up to 500?Nuts
you shouldve gone on beamng and seen how many cars it could run, 7950x can do 35 parked with 20 driving, i bet this could do 75 parked with 42 driving at 4k ultra
It’s crazy how you can make an entire setup with a computer that has TWO RTX 4090s and it still costs less than this. 😂

@@Cund that it’s a waste of money
@@anwarlacreem and yours isn't? The point of the build was just to show off what a 37k pc can look like. Realistically speaking, there's no point in going above 7K USD, and that's pushing it since that price account for what streamers may need. For the average gamer, a 5K $ build is more than enough for 4k gaming, and that includes the peripherals too.

Using an AMD EPYC for gaming is already insane by itself
a good model with high clock and single core high cpu-z score, note these.
The PC we will need for GTA6
toasty bros be making videos about 200 dollar budget vids one day then 37k vids the next day
Major Edit: I own AMD Ryzen now. 7800X3D. Much happier :) Although my dream one day is a Threadripper or EPYC second or third build!
AMD has no competition from Intel in server workstation CPU's yet, and I say this as a happy Intel owner. Intel Xeon 6 shows great promise, but Threadripper PRO and EPYC are on another planet!
Did it absolutely foul hooking that beauty up to an acer monitor 💀
this is the DEFINITION of price to performance
Its hard to imagine this computer is 1/4 the value of my vehicle.
It's like 2.5 times the value of mine😂
Problem is games need higher cpu clocks instead of 256 cores. A 7800x3d would probably crush that thing in gaming performance. If paired with a 4090 ofcourse
It would. There are some rare games that can use a large number of cores though. City skylines 2 and Beamng are some of the very rare exception that can actually put system with over 16 cores to work.
256 cores and getting frame drops using a rtx 4090
Not using full Rtx settings in Fortnite is sad. My 4060ti was getting 80-100 FPS at all times in 1440p
wow. finally a pc that might have a chance of running Starfield smoothly

$37,000 for a gaming pc that gets the same fps as a $1000 laptop/gaming pc is a little insane.
that storage is criminal for its price

1tb of ram
Chrome: finally, A worthy opponent!!
this is evidence that playing in 1080p and lowest everything still better than maxing everything
i dont think bro realises the cpu is getting bottle necked
I still prefer to do my gaming on a budget build, that way I can continue to pretend like it's a hardware performance issue resulting in losses instead of my complete lack of skill.😅
Minecraft with infinite rendering and the 40x texture pack with shaders will bring this thing to its knees.
14:57 hah, nothing like emoting on an AI
No gaming console in the future touching this. Future proofing max.
Please try to get Cities Skylines 2 to run on this 🤣
All the money is in the dual CPUs. Definitely a work station. Gaming is ok... A 4090 and 7800x3d would be a gaming set up.
$37000 and u get spaghetti cables.. no thanks.😂😂
Nice Worksation Build!
The minimum requirement PC to play Cities skylines PC edition.
Cant wait till this is $500 on Ebay in 10 years!
Nah, even a $37,000 Gaming/workstation pc stuttering in game even little bit of lag in big games this proves you don’t need $37,000 pc for gaming a $500 - 3000 Gaming pc is what you need for gaming.
Can't wait for prices to come down on the used market for a 256 core processor setup with 1TB of ram, I only have 64gb now for gaming.
why would bro get a workstation cpu thats lit worse then an i9 14900k in gaming
I just dropped 6 grand on my set up and thought I was doing something 😂
I think this video begs the question, how close can you get a gaming dedicated PC to be proficient with workstation applications too.
Fully recommend this at 3x speed it sounds phenomenal
I was asking myself if spent too much on my Ryzen 9 7950X3D @ 4.2Ghz, Gigabyte GeForce RTX4090 Windforce V2, 64gb Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5-5600 ram, ASUS Prime X670-P ATX AM5 Motherboard with it's case and some other goodies along with the 49" ultrawide and now I can say no. No, I did not spend too much. The best part is in a few years I'll still be able to sell the CPU for a pretty descent price and upgrade it to finally stop bottlenecking the 4090.
your probably overcrowding the bus like when you used a raid controller as a mini nvme hd
Are you kidding me with 1tb ram ?😂
What is the point of gaming at 500 fps when no monitors refresh rates support it
This video is now a month old. Current day value is more like 10k. Lol. NEVER pay top dollar for the best computer you can buy. This is a great example of what's wrong with the world today.
More RAM than storage lol. That is hilarious. So odd that the CPU was at ZERO % for most of the Cyberpunk testing yet the 4090 was less than 50% utilization. RAM speed limitations?
My 4090 pc briefly hit 1200 fps for a second or so while in a game menu and I almost crapped myself! I capped it in windows right after that.
Now put this PC on your shop. Surely someone will buy it...
What do u have your melee button set on? Also what button r u guys using to throw grenades? My stock button settings suck. Any advice would help greatly.
Wouldn't a better test of those two CPUs in gaming have been running games at max settings at 1080p rather than 4K?
imagine the number or crashes & bugs on this i wander how any of old & new games work at all
37000 dollar PC and air cooled CPU? "Weakness disgusts me." Also, i can't believe this system still hit under 30fps in Cyberpunk at points.
ITS A WORKSTATION CPU FOR GOD SAKE
MAN those benchmark framerates were SO disappointing
In Halo I noticed the system was using almost fifty gigs of RAM. What the hell were you all running in the background? Was it just Windows being Windows? If so, try Linux on the system if you still have it! My install of Fedora idles at about 3GB of RAM
For the frame rates I was very disappointed that much money in that
[15:16] That's cap because you had DLSS Ray Reconstruction and Path Tracing set to off. You didn't max out here
Never thought there would be a 4090 bottleneck
This is a very interesting, and expensive, build, but just so everyone knows - the AMD Threadripper line of CPU's are not made for gaming. Yes, they have more cores and threads than any Ryzen or Intel CPU does, but their base clockspeed, and boosted clockspeed, aren't nearly as fast as your traditional CPU, and there aren't any games out there that can take advantage of so many cores. This kind of CPU was built for 3D modeling, AI Work, and video/music production, not gaming. In a lot of ways, something like a 7800X3D or 14900K would run circles around this CPU in terms of gaming and latency.
I think the shelves n the back are about to collapse, pretty decently bowed top shelf
the gigabyte logo might be recognizing you left the case open
Almost 50GB RAM allocation!💀
I have a Blender 3D workstation with a 24 core TR and dual 4090s. The problem i always hit is having to manually reduce the active cores to get games to run at all. once I limit it down to to 12 cores it works well for most games.
For online games it was decided closest averages fps to all players with ranges of faster and slower for compatibility to insure accuracy for all hardware
You could host 383 Minecraft servers on that, if each Minecraft server uses 4 GB of RAM
