why do people have nothing else to do but bully this guy for getting a 4060TI, its an amazing card but the price is not, going from a 1650 to a 4060ti is an AMAZING upgrade, good job bro congrats
I always believe that there is always a good side to most modern GPUs today, like what most people say, nowadays there is no bad GPU, only badly priced ones! I’m definitely not someone that prefers NVIDIA over AMD and vice versa, again every card nowadays is good but carries with them their own drawbacks.
only bad price and bad naming, it should be named rtx4050 ti for its regression to rtx3060 ti
@@sownlengocok what the price i s ? Its 200$ 4060 ti 8gb its good price to performance
@@HiddenGoldit is still a good combo but I would’ve got a 7700xt
because they're "pc experts"
yall are in the 40 series im still rocking my good old gtx 980 ti
actually goated ngl 🔥🔥
well, the 980 Ti is still quite powerful even to this day. The 900 series are legendary. I had a 970 which i used in the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2024 and it still works like new. 3 months ago i switched to a 1660Super bcs i basically bought a new PC and i think even if i didnt have the 1660Super, i would still be happy with the 970 bcs its still really good.
I'm still rocking my brothers old I3 8100 and RX 570 4GB as my second pc.
same card, powerful even in 2025, i only got it 2 months ago...
@@BladeCrew yeah its still good for esports tbh
200% plus performance is always welcome!
upgrade my 2 years 3060 to 4070 tis, just because MH Wilds.
Grats for you man,
Went from 3060/12 to 4070 Ti too - 2.3x more performance.
Was considering 4060 and 4060 Ti, but when I found out these cards will not be faster than 3070 and have only 8GB of VRAM, which is not enough for my use case (my 3060 was already using 8GB at that time), I decided to jump one tier higher and keep my new GPU for at least 5 years.
4070 Ti is a beast. It runs most 3-5 year old games at native 4K with ease and has no issues at 1440p even with most demanding modern games.
DLDSR and DLSS4 are great features, which definitely add Nvidia GPUs more value.
finally going to retire my 1080 for the 5070 this month, wish me luck with the scalpers everyone!
fingers crossed for you!
This Gaming PC is basically what I have now and the upgrade is reasonable.
I had an
I7 7700K / GTX 1080 build. My I7 Cpu broke and I switched to the I5 11400f
I also got a used RTX 3070 after few Months and the I5 11400f x 3070 combination was sweet but somehow my Mainboard broke so I switched to the AM4 Platform with the Ryzen 7 5800x (should´ve get the Ryzen 7 5700x3D) But now with the Ryzen 7 5800x and the RTX 3070 im completaly at a point where I want to be since Im still at 1080p and buying a new 1440p Monitor doesnt make sense for me. There is people out there buying stuff they dont even use without noticing.
Hell yeah bro I know the feeling of getting to open a new graphics card the dopamine rush was crazy !
congrats on that 4060ti man, that's such a huge and good jump!👍😃
i have a 4060 bud and i upgraded from a 128 vram igpu so you can imagine how happy i was when i bought it.
Congrats on the upgrade! I've just gone last week from a crusty RX 480 to RTX 4070 Super, also MSI haha. And trust me 2 vents are more than enough, it's super silent and efficient
This is how wholesome even therapeutic upgrading your PC is supposed to be like ! great video buddy!! +1 sub
Congrats on the upgrade! Upgrading gpu with that big jump is really satisfying, have fun with gaming!
Love the video, good upgrade, from an 1650 to an 4060 ti HUGE upgrade! Keep the good work up!
Make sure you do a DDU install to delete previous Turing drivers (the gtx 1650) and install fresh RT4X 4060TI drivers
Yup, the thing is the NVIDIA app automatically updates and removes old drivers (in my case the 1650) and replaces them with the new drivers for the 4060 Ti. However I do agree that it’s better to do a full fresh installation of drivers rather than relying on the NVIDIA app!
@@HiddenGold I'm your new Subscriber
Congratulations
I am so happy for you for that upgrade jump!
Congrats.
Few weeks ago was wanting a rtx 4070 super. But for that money instead i got a rtx 4060, then from Ali express got a 5700x3d & a 2tb nvme ssd. And saved around 400 Aed. Been able to play almost all games at 1440p and with the new dlss4 technology it's been really good.
I upgraded from a 7 year old Gtx 1060 & 5 2600 and also all the new parts connected to my old 500w psu with no issues 👍🏼
@@GavinRebeiro I think you have an enormous gpu bottleneck because the 5700x3d is a top 5 gaming cpu in performance of all time when the 4060 is an overpriced budget gpu (bottleneck is where one component limits the other). You would be much better off with a ryzen 5 7500f and rx 7700xt.
@GobbleFNBR tested it alot and have almost no bottleneck at all for my usage. And imo it wasn't overpriced since I got it at a really good deal and was cheaper than what I paid for my gtx 1060 6gb 8 years ago with inflation added for the years difference.
Also I was already on a Am4 platform. So for the price of getting just a rtx 4070 super. I managed to get a new cpu, gpu and 2tb fast storage and save around 400aed
@@GobbleFNBR that's actually not true. the 5700x3d is comparable to that 7500f. iceberg tech made a video comparing those cards and results may surprise you
@@lookie4448 bro the 5700x3d is just like a 7700x
@ it's not. th-cam.com/video/T-PHwDop0lo/w-d-xo.html
I'm tempted to buy a 4060 right now to replace my 1660 or Just wait out a bit for the 5060 that MIGHT be coming out in March, idk but I'm more concerned about the price though maybe $300 for the 5060 and $400 for 5060 ti.
my brother in christ amd exists
literally just get a 7800xt and you have a much better card for the price of 4060ti
@@wallpapaerpaste Where I live a 4060 is around 250 USD cheaper than the 7800XT. I'm probably going to still go with the 7800XT to upgrade from my 1660ti, fuck 4060s 🤫
My brother in fishstick, just get a (insert GPU) and let me indoctrinate you
Go for it man. You wull enjoy. Pre pandemic my upgrade path is gtx 750ti > gtx 1060 3gb (too hot) > gtx 1650 super (need more vram for pubg) > gtx 1070 (kept for a long time due to pandemic prices) > rtx 4060 (upgrade itch) 😊
Go for a 7700 xt or a 9060
I disagree with the choice in card, but i can understand why you bought it, and anyways there isn’t really a good option anyway and it’s a big jump from a 1650 so still a stellar upgrade and i hope it serves you well for several years.
Nice video bro! Hope u enjoy. I only have the normal 4060 and I'm happy with it 😊
I have a gtx 1650 too. But I'm gonna upgrade to a 5080, 4080 S, 7900XTX, 9070XT, I don't know which one to pick but I'm waiting for this massive upgrade. And i can't wait!
then u need to upgrade your mainboard to pcie 4.0 and psu to 1000 watt and cpu to higher clock (reducing bottle neck).....!!
Congrats on ur GPU upgrade man! Enjoy that lil beast of urs!
I upgraded my 1050 2gb to a 3050 8gb 7 months ago and I have been enjoying it so far!
Hoping I can upgrade from my GTX 750 TI 4GB to a 3050 8GB by the end of this year 😩

@@ImNotAriani have a question, did u leave the same drivers on it, or did u use ddu? cuz im upgrading from a gtx 1050 2gb to a rtx 3050 too and im worried ill mess something up with the drivers

Yo congrats bro on the upgrade the setup looks sick dude. Keep it up bro
2:40 i agree , i bought my upgraded from 8 gb vrm to 16 gb vram because i thought it will last long and able to play GTA 6 when it arrived and also depends on what you do too. :D

happy birthday
w bro, happy birthday
congrats on upgrades!
Funny and honest video, may the decent gaming be with you now ^^
I have a GTX 1060 to upgrade soon too, cant wait!
amazing content! congrats on ur new gpu!
I see how many people are having 40 series and hete i am still using a 3060 ti FE. Sometimes im thinking to upgrade but it does the job for now.
don’t feel pressured to upgrade! If it does the job, then let it keep doing the job! start thinking when maybe it isn’t enough anymore!
Nice upgrade dude. I just went from a 980ti into a 3060ti that I got for $250 since it was the proper upgrade for my HP “VR ready” 6700k dinosaur. Couple days later I got a steal locally on a minty Intel 12 series microceter build. This 3060ti will be short lived as I figure out which 40 series card works best for the money after the 50 series cards release.
Just to let you know, I have the same card and after doing a bit of research, the only card that I truly want to upgrade to from the 3060 Ti would be the 4090 as that card is literally double the 3060 Ti in every benchmark. If you wanna upgrade, I recommend you hold off for a while or just go buy a 4090 or at the very least a 4070 Ti Super or something in that range.
@ a little bit of research had me in the same boat. Barely used the 3060ti so far, so it’ll be a little while
I like your video nice bro :)
I have subbed ty for content
A worthy successor for your 1650, it will serve you well. Congratulations on the gpu upgrade.
damn what a content for a youtuber under 1K good like man hope youll get to 100K rapidly.
Why are people bullying this guy for buying a 4060 Ti? It’s a great card! Yes, the price might not be the best, but it’s still a really solid GPU. Personally, I upgraded from a 1660 Super to a 4060 about a year ago, and it’s been great. Congrats on the new graphics card!
great upgrade
ohhh boy i am so jealous of you! I have an RX580 8GB with me,
Anywayys, have a blast! God bless you buddy!
Hey the RX 580 is old but gold! Catch that GPU upgrade when you can buddy!
There was a time I used to wish i could afford an RX580. I used to own an rx550 back then. It was horrible. I have upgraded to an RTX 3070ti now.
Happy birthday for you and my GPU have 8gb to ( arc a750 )
I would have given you my GTX 1070ti for 2 gas station hotdogs, and you would be better off......
Awesome, hope you love it! Subscribed, the video was entertaining
Lol, 40 series is great. Here I am, still rocking on my rx570 with 4 gb of ram since the lockdown 😂. Love your videos, keep it up!
For me, i'm selling my 4060ti 8gb for a profit and upgrading to a 4070 ti super in a months time :D
Coughing baby vs coughing baby
Nvidia has really good drivers for content creators, ignore the haters keep it up lil bro.
Man I remember I built my first pc and it had a 1650 super then I upgraded it to a 3060 12gb and now I just built my 2nd pc and bought a 4070 super
Its a big upgrade when you go from 16 series or 10 series to 40 series. Just few months back upgraded from 1050 3gb to 4060 a huge jump in performance
great vid!, i just built a new pc (coming from a 2070 laptop bought in 2019). I built a AMD 9800x3d and an RTX 5080 16GB with 32GB RAM. Also bought a samsung 32" 4k 240hz HDR monitor to go along with it.
happy late bday twin
I made the exact same upgrade 😆 just 1 year earlier.
i think next you going to upgrade your platform
from LGA 1200 to AM5 platfrom
Yup, one day!
Congrtas..👌
i like ur millennium falcon btw
I love my 4090fe upgrade from 980ti and for 1400 from bb last year
congrats bro, i'm going to upgrade soon I have the same gtx 1650 card lol.
I come from Taiwan, upgrade from 2040 to 4060ti 16gb, I have same package with yours gpu, interesting video
i have been using a dell optiplex (integrated graphics) for 8 years. I AM him
I have a Zotac RTX 3050 Twin Edge OC 8GB, in furmark Knot(VK) 1080p benchmark my score was 1446(with 24fps). My gpu is not even manually overclocked, but factory overclocked.
i upgraded from a 2080 to a 4070 i got on sale at my local walmart and minecraft does not run any better with shaders, letting me know how cpu bound the whole game is lol
The 4060ti is better than what I got and had for 6 years, I almost bought the B580 myself then it was out of stock and I said forget it, I will wait for my tax return.
omg he got the "bad financial decision TI" !!
This pisses me off so much. He could have gotten a (insert GPU) instead!!!
@@lemonyz420 lol
you do realise that amd cards are more expensive in the philippines right?
This one is good, 4060ti just having many basher but that GPU is actually good.
I don’t know how much is price difference between 7700xt 12 GB and 4060 ti, but considering the performance AMD smacks 4060 ti.
Anyways happy gaming. 🙋🏻♂️
In general its a nice card but you should look at your gpu usage % in borderlands for example. Youre heavily bottlenecked by your cpu its kinda insane
Thanks for the vid. Enjoy gaming! My Gpu upgrade path is gtx 750ti > gtx 1060 3gb (too hot) > gtx 1650 super (need more vram for pubg) > gtx 1070 (kept for a long time due to pandemic prices) > rtx 4060 (upgrade itch, i shouldve wait till gtx 1070 died as i realized i dont really need to upgrade with games i play) 😊
Wow i guess youtube is reading my whole browser, I just ordered a 4060 to upgrade from 1660S
is it necessary to delete the old graphic drivers ??
Some people experience issues, while some don't. But I always recommend you do just in case!
What is your monitor?
Asus VG27AQ3A, 27’ 1080p 180Hz
Hi! What's your pc specs? I guess there's a bottleneck between your gpu and cpu when benchmarking. It's only gets to 55FPS based on the result. My 1660 super oc paired with i5-10500t when benchmarking at 67FPS
I mean i bought the 16gb version because some of the games I play love eating 12+gb
the 4060 ti couldh have actually been the worst value gpu of all time until the rtx 5080 came along LOL
Hope you have a great time with your 4060ti❤
he lives in the philippines the alternatives most guys give usually is alot expensive
They don't have those amazing micro center deals in PH
they have to deal with the import tax + the sellers cut in that country all on their own
like the b580 is being sold at 305 dollars there and thats un scalped the scalped one is 350 to 360
Not bashing, really happy you made the upgrade but I'm just wondering why you didn't just go red ang got like a 7700xt
Both are good but maybe he just thought it was better for him, I have a 7900xt, I think AMD GPUs are better priced but it’s cuz Nvidia barely has competition in the gpu market
the 4060ti honestly has very great thermals and power consumption...add in the decent performance and DLSS and its honestly a solid card
nice nice, i had a 2060 for 5 years and got a 4060 with ryzen 7 5700x for me is enough, dont need to have super duper frames. couldnt even play bo6 30 fps when explosion 19 fps now 100-120 🤑🤑🤑
i've been using my rtx 2060 since 2019 so like 6 years. I'm looking to finally upgrade to a 5070 ti after all this time.
Still rocking Intel integrated graphics
no hate on that card but i have RTX 4060 and i have been always struggling with VRAM in demanding games like The last of us P1 or cypberpunk 2077 or even with alan wake 2 just the Vram is always maxed out and in some games you have to even lower the graphics most of the times Textures to clear some Vram so that must be even bigger problem with RTX 4060 Ti to be honest but enjoy your card if you dont play any of those games you will love it
The difference between us is I don’t play demanding or AAA games so yea I won’t face any VRAM issues with gaming XD but yea I do agree that these two cards suffers from low VRAM, but this is more than enough for me!
@@HiddenGold understandable good luck dealing with all other people telling you the same thing though lol. but at least you know that card will be enough for you at any time in that case its perfect card
That monitor looks like it's been spitted alot
subscribed and love from India
Nice upgrade! You live in the Philippines?
Yes I do!
amd wasn't available in phili or you needed nvidia for something more?
I was gonna consider something like the RX 7700 XT, but I wanted to take advantage of DLSS, better power efficiency, and NVENC encoders for recording, editing, and stuff. I don't mind losing out the great raw performance of AMD cards, I don't really play AAA or very demanding games. I don't choose sides between team green and red btw, I just picked what I could take advantage more from. :)
@@HiddenGold that's all fair
people think everything is priced the same as the US. AMD cards aren't as cheap in some cases in other countries
Congrats on upgrading! But you do know having a second gpu would do good for your carrier. No matter its power since you can play games on your 4060ti while the 1650 records your gameplay flawlessly, without any trick, no AI, just raw performance. If youd like it that is.
Yea I do plan to just keep it until I have enough used parts for a spare server/recording pc or something, we’ll see in the future! :>
I upgraded from Asus Strix RTX 2080 Ti to MSI Suprim X RTX 4080 Super

@@HiddenGold can I ask specific reason why you chose over 7700xt and 7800xt?
I explained it in my newest video, but to tl;dr
- lower TDP
- NVENC with AV1
- DLSS for some of my games
- AMD cards aren’t the most “reasonably” priced here in the PH
- I don’t play super demanding games so AMD amazing raw performance isn’t super needed for me
In conclusion, I chose the card I can fully take advantage of the most!
A toofpick changes everything..:
