Introducing the revamped Porsche 911!
Porsche has revealed an updated version of its iconic sports car, and this isn't just a typical facelift. For the first time ever, the 911 has gone hybrid!
So, what else has been updated beyond the hybrid powertrain? Fortunately, not too much! At the front, you'll notice new LED matrix headlights and a redesigned bumper featuring five vertical fins on each side that can open and close to regulate radiator cooling. There are also new alloy wheel designs, and at the back, there's a modified light bar, new vents behind the windscreen, and an updated rear bumper.
Inside, there's one significant change - the traditional analogue rev counter has been replaced with a fully digital driver display. It looks impressive and offers various customization options, but it lacks the charm of the classic rev counter. Otherwise, the interior maintains the high standards you'd expect from a 911, featuring soft-touch materials throughout and a large infotainment screen on the dash.
In terms of performance, the new GTS is the only hybrid model. It's equipped with a 3.6-litre flat-six engine with a single turbocharger, combined with an electric motor to deliver 541hp and 610Nm of torque - 61hp more than the previous GTS! Porsche claims it can accelerate to 60mph in just 3 seconds and boasts a top speed of 194mph.
The new 911 range starts at £99,800. However, if you're eyeing the GTS, be prepared to spend at least £132,600!
