Ian Callum came up with the modern Aston Martin design language. That was the pinnacle of car design. Every subsequent Aston Martin designer is basically tweaking his perfect design. All Aston's look good because they are derivations of Ian Callum's design however they can't really improve on his work.

    • @SellingLAandMiami

This is the smartest comment I’ve seen in the two reviews so far. Ian is the man. As a 2nd gen Vanquish Volante owner as well as a 2017 Jag F-Type R convt I really think Ian has to be one of the very best coach designers ever. I think the back end of this Vanquish looks like a pick up truck door. Side is nice with wide deck sills and the front looks about the same as previous models. Interior is great

They need to take that rear 3/4 shot of this car and redesign the front around that same language because its gorgeous from that angle, and while I'll never be a fan of modern interiors that steering wheel and panel is miles better than what Ferrari are doing.
